You're missing the whole point where Missy & Bryan are the parents, and they can say: "Actually, Oliver has received a lot of gifts, so maybe you can hold off on buying him a car right now. We don't want our child to grow up to be an entitled brat."Hpgirl wrote:It does make it better, actually. Bryan and Missy can't control what other people buy Oliver and how much it costs. If their family wants to give Oliver something as a present and spend that much money, that's on them. If it were Bryan and Missy who bought him the car it would've been worse. I completely agree Oliver doesn't need another toy because he has plenty and Christmas just passed, but it's not them buying him that gift. It's Papa and he can spend his money as he pleases even if it's not right.tml43 wrote:That doesn't make it any better. It's still just as ridiculous.Hpgirl wrote:

It has nothing to do with the money (I added that point just to show how much it was). It has to do with him not needing anymore damn toys.
As parent, you can say no to other people buying your children toys.

These people wont get him speech therapy but will continue to buy him useless toys. I just cant anymore ..
Re: DailyNewToys - Part 51
Oh good that is actually a thing! I saw they got him that car on twitter and was confused cause I could have sworn he already had a similar car toy, but I couldn't remember what it waspllfan5 wrote:^also Ollie has that other Jeep car that is in Mimi's backyard

My guess is they bought another one so that Jackson and gains will have one to ride on. Not totally necessary but it's not my money. Lol

As far as Missy putting shoes on the wrong feet... I accidentally do it to my son all of the time! My mom makes fun of me about it. I can get my own on just fine, but sometimes I just get it wrong for my kiddos! Lol woops...

Ollie 'driving' an RC Lamborghini, Bryan rehearsing for his oh so special EP release party, and drone footage of Ollie in the lambo..... I'm getting tired of watching them (them? Or just Bryan...) show off how much money they have.
Bryan is acting like he's 'made it' with his album and release party... I get that he's been working on this for a while, but Yknow what happened to musicians practicing for hours, performing cheap shows wherever they can get them, struggling and landing a record deal... This is the problem with people who just pay their way to success. They don't put in the amount of hard work and struggle and work that makes musicians uniquely talented at their craft.

Not sure why Missy couldn't have stopped and put the shoes on the right feet...parryhotter wrote:As far as Missy putting shoes on the wrong feet... I accidentally do it to my son all of the time! I think they spend every penny they get. I wouldn't call that "having" a lot of money. They have a lot of stuff, but not a lot of financial security for the future.emobar wrote:Ollie 'driving' an RC Lamborghini, Bryan rehearsing for his oh so special EP release party, and drone footage of Ollie in the lambo..... Yea, I would have fixed it immediately, myself! It's uncomfortable. My son has put his own on the wrong feet before and refused to change them, because yanno 4-year-olds are always right.emobar wrote:

Re: DailyNewToys - Part 51
Wow they actually went to a park outside of the compound!
Bryan sounded so bad singing at rehearsal. I've heard the clips of the song he was singing at the end of vlogs, and he was really off-key/not hitting the right notes. Aren't in-ear monitors supposed to help you sing the right notes?
Really glad they got Ollie a plate of fruit! Someone asked a page or so back and my kid loves fruits and veggies. Sometimes we have to be creative in how we present it (she won't eat plain spinach but will drink a smoothie). But I don't think a) Ollie doesn't like/won't eat fruits or veggies, we've seen him eat and like carrots recently, or b) liking grilled cheese is a good reason to give it to him 1x or more per day.
Just because something tastes good doesn't mean he should have it everyday. I think his eating habits are more due to his parents not giving him variety and eating out a lot than him being picky/not liking anything else.

Re: DailyNewToys - Part 51
Wtf? Who notices their kids shoes are on wrong and doesn't stop to fix it? Have you tried walking with your shoes on the wrong feet, Missy? It's uncomfortable at best, painful at worst, but she just couldn't be bothered?
She mentioned that the doctors told her that the blood work indicated she is fighting an infection, but they don't know where the infection is. And she still insists it has something to do with her IUD. Can IUDs give you an infection? If so, isn't that sort of an urgent thing to take care of? I would be worried it could affect future fertility if I had her past. I still don't understand how she's in so much pain/has a fever and is able to go about her day as usual

Besides, if Papa bought it, why is he posting that _he_ got a "Lambo", and that he's "so blessed that his job allows him to do this" Again, about the material crap, not about being with his son...tml43 wrote:You're missing the whole point where Missy & Bryan are the parents, and they can say: "Actually, Oliver has received a lot of gifts, so maybe you can hold off on buying him a car right now. I live in the LA area and am thinking of going just out of curiosity. I'm just curious to see how all these vloggers act when they aren't vlogging.tml43 wrote:I love how she ordered Ollie fruit .... and he has a huge chocolate milk on the side.
Holy crap did Bryna sound AWFUL during rehearsal.
I cannot believe that they bought him that car. IT'S $400. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS. CHRISTMAS JUST HAPPENED.
Freebirds is catering the EP party - insert eye roll. - I swear someone here called that.
Does anyone live in the LA area that can go JUST so we can hear about the disaster?

Is he having chocolate milk with every meal now? If so, that's not healthy! It will impede his ability to absorb iron. No wonder the kid sleeps so much

I'm not "missing the point". I get what people are saying. They obviously buy Oliver everything so what makes you think that they'll stop OTHER people buying him gifts? If they don't hold off on buying him toys you really expect them to tell others to hold off on buying him toys? You're giving them too much credit. It's different, FOR ME, if it's Papa buying him the car. That's MY opinion.

Re: DailyNewToys - Part 51
There IS a right way to introduce foods and influence your child what to eat. You're the parent and have PLENTY of control in the beginning before they even have preferences.
-I had a horrible diet growing up. My 2 year old has an amazing diet because I didn't want him to follow in my footsteps. I wanted better for him.
We all see their faults when it comes to Oliver's diet, and there's no excuse for it. They're lazy and push-overs when it comes to Ollie. Plain and simple.
And you're right. They spend money on material things but not speech therapy or educational toys. Heck, even daycare. Nothing that truly will benefit him in the long run.
