Like someone else said, the trouble with Ruby is that she is trying to be Ellie. That brings in the Daily Bumps tweenage audience and not a real mom audience. Look at the comments on Bonnie's videos, she has a very different fanbase. Ruby is too old, and her lifestyle is too boring to bring in the kid audience. She should have stayed relatable and just waited for success to find her....

The bedding thing lost me though. Most of the Griffiths suck at buying their kids meaningful gifts.

I was looking through her Instagram and at her family photo and of course she had to mention that KSL put them on the front cover, so I went and searched on their website. It just seems really attention seeking to me ... There were quite a few comments on the article agreeing.

In retrospect, I can see she started changing before she started daily vlogging. But as I don't generally watch her every day, I feel like I just got a double whammy with Julie's birthday and then the collaborations culminating in another give away in a bid for more subscribers. I actually looked at the subscriber count and it is up to about 35k and it seems it was just as 20k, and then 8k a few months ago. She's tapped into something, maybe the Christian Mommy Coalition? They can have her and her cooking channel. After recently reading some posts calling her out on not feeding her family vegetables or any meat to speak of, I went back and watched her weekly grocery haul. It was pretty sad, she totally skimps on feeding her family. Also, her recipes don't represent what she buys from the grocery store. And, I know for a fact her chocolate chip cookie recipe is simply the Tollhouse recipe in which she substituted butter for shortening. Bleh! She's feeding her kids trsns fat!

I agree with everyone, Ruby tries way too hard and is obviously doing yt for the fame. I used to like her and was excited for her when she reached 10k subs, now I'm just annoyed. She can't even seem to give her children enough attention, yt wouldn't help at all. I think "jealous" is too strong/not the appropriate word, but it is clear that she wants what Ellie and Bonnie have achieved on yt. The only difference is that their success happened naturally while Ruby is trying too hard.

I notice Kevin doesn't attend all the family gatherings (snow day, etc), do things with the husbands, etc. You'd think a college prof would work M-F at most and would have time for Griffiths parties.

Kevin and Ruby always seem much older than the rest of her siblings and their partners to me. Maybe its because she started having children long before Beau and the closest another sibling who started having kids was Bonnie. There's a 6/7 year age gap between Shari and Olivia.

She has an old mentality which is why she seems so much older, and she's a bit frazzeled imo. I really don't care for her current vlogs. They are over-produced with theme music, and that damn 8 Passenger bus seems to be used mid vlog as a punch line. She's not prodicing a sitcom from the 50's ffs, she needs to just stop.

I enjoyed her first couple of videos but its getting to be so painfully obvious she's wanting to make a quick buck off the videos that I don't even watch anymore.
And she's so Mormon, lol. Im Mormon, and I live in the Mormon suburbs. If I want to watch someone like her I can just open my window.

This woman is driving me crazy! I watched a few vlogs around the holidays and thought she was ok and interesting but the more I watch the more I get annoyed. Her video about having an answer to eve's situation was ridiculous. Spoiler alert the answer she had was "take her to an ear nose and throat doctor" and she was sure she needs her tonsils and adenoids out. She thinks that merited a bonus video entitled "we have an answer". No you don't. You googled it.

Like the other poster said, it is obvious she is here to make a quick buck.

Yeah, I've had enough of her so haven't bothered to watch this past week. I may watch if I see a thumbnail that looks legit and interesting, not holding my breath though. The last vlog I watched was over-produced with tacky theme music and not much content. She wants her ego stroked and I'm not the type to do her that favor. I suggest you take a break as she is trying too hard to compete with Bonnie imo.

I thought she said she puts them in a warm bath and has them stay in it until the water cools off?

I was surprised she made the comments about people calling her a bad mother when she missed Chad's game.

I agree her vlogs have changed and not for the better. Overall I do still like her but I wish she'd go back to her old style of vlogs. More heartfelt.
