Re: RaisingEyebrows part 46
The past 5 years has been one big hope CPS would do something and they haven't. Columbiana County has let those poor children down time and again.

Re: RaisingEyebrows part 46
I know. I have been really surprised and disappointed about that. I had someone call maliciously on me to get revenge and the stuff she said was incredibly outlandish and really easily disproven (i.e. said we lived in a filthy motel room with needles everywhere etc) when in fact we live comfortably and own a nice, clean home and are more against addiction than the average person because I have lost both of my siblings to the disease. My son is also medically fragile and closely followed by doctors and his entire medical team defended us and told CPS we are incredible parents. CPS conceded early on that it was obviously a false report but they still investigated thoroughly, showed up multiple times unannounced to catch us off guard to see how the condition of our child and home would be on a normal day when we wouldn't expect them, etc and then closed the case unfounded. I really don't believe her county's department can or has been that thorough with her, there is no way. I am not saying they would come right in and take the kids away immediately but they would definitely be telling her she has to get a job and GED and parenting classes maybe? Like, if they were doing their damn jobs and closely investigating this girl, they could easily see how many problems there are and they would be forcing her to fix them by threat of having her children removed. They must suck or be super overwhelmed with people even shockingly worse than Tayler.kingoflove21vher wrote:The past 5 years has been one big hope CPS would do something and they haven't. Re: RaisingEyebrows part 46
I had dealings with CPS for the family I nannied for and they went so far as to order not just the parents, but me to get a drug test including cutting out a big chunk of my hair. That was pretty much the worst. I don't know what's going on in her area that they're consistently dropping the ball but it's sad. Why doesn't Chuckie's family try to report her and get custody of the kids? They must see the neglect

Re: RaisingEyebrows part 46
I get the feeling Chuckie's family isn't that much better. Hopefully now that the court is involved with the divorce pending and Chuckie's DV charges, they'll both have to go to parenting classes.
Those false reports really piss me off. They waste the time of people who are already overloaded with cases. Something Good, while they were investigating you, that time could have been spent on children that were really needing help! Not your fault, I know. It's not the same, but I had Animal Control called on me once. My neighbors were feuding and somehow I got in the middle. They told them my dog was neglected. She took one look at him and got so mad. Not at me, but at the people who wasted her time. It was obvious to anyone my dog wasn't neglected or abused. People like that deserve a special place in hell. All they think about is causing trouble for someone, not how the overworked social worker or cop or animal control officer is wasting time that could be spent really helping someone. Rant over.

Re: RaisingEyebrows part 46
I don't think dumping the kids in foster care will help much either tbh.
I think it would be great if someone could come into Taylor's house and develop a rapport with her and then teach her things. Teach her how to budget, how to cook cheap but healthy meals, how to play with her kids, how to parent, help her with her GED, etc. I know this service doesn't exist, but I think it should exist, lol. Tayler clearly doesn't know these things. She needs HELP (and I truly don't mean it in a mean way at all) and her kids will never be in ok in her care until someone helps her. It would be better if she'd seek these this help herself. Of course that's what she should do. But I don't see her doing it on her own because she seems to be lacking basic skills which would be required to seek help in the first place.
Of course this would be more "taxpayer dollars", but a program like this could potentially decrease the cost overall by preventing kids like Tayler's from being screwed up. As it is, I don't think they have much of a chance. Sure, they might "escape", but more than likely, they'll be in jail and on welfare too. So if we spent more money on the Taylers of the world, we'd save more money overall.
Watching her makes me feel awful. I want to step in and help her myself sometimes. I actually would if I thought if I thought she'd listen. But the person would obviously have to develop a strong rapport with her in person for the help to work.
I'll shut up now.

Re: RaisingEyebrows part 46
I agree gossipglosser. She needs a mentor or something. She needs someone who can teach her basic parenting and cooking but someone that can tell her what she does wrong and not sugar coat it. That's the biggest thing she needs in her life, someone to tell her face to face when she screws up since her family wipes her ass for her since she's an emo princess who does no wrong in her family's eyes

Re: RaisingEyebrows part 46
But there are parenting classes, and the school district here has classes for adults in cooking and budgeting and things like that, so I'll bet they have them around where she lives too. She doesn't _need_ someone to come into her home and spoon feed her this stuff. She needs to decide what's important and get off her butt and find out what's available to her. She obviously has internet access. She's bright enough to Google "free parenting classes". But she thinks she's a damn good mom, so she's not gonna. It's not just not knowing how to seek the help. She doesn't think she needs it. There's nothing wrong in her eyes with what she does. When people offer her advice, she tells them to get stuffed. And this may sound fascist, but I think that if you're popping out babies and can't support them, birth control should be required. I'm wrong. It does sound fascist. I can't believe I just said it. But it's such a vicious cycle!

Re: RaisingEyebrows part 46
As long as she continues getting welfare, food stamps, wic, public housing etc., she will not make any changes. She probably makes more from the government than she ever could from working a minimum wage job. The only way she will step up and start being a better parent is if the kids were taken although that would probably send her into a downward spiral. I don't think she would have the motivation to jump through the CPS hoops to get the kids back.

Re: RaisingEyebrows part 46
I wasn't blocked I think. Now I can see her posts. They went from zero to 3. Why does she insist to dye her hair funky? Brown hair makes her look way more apealing and put together!

Yeah that picture looks like a mom loving on her kid. That's the kind of stuff you should post on instagram Tayler.
Too bad she's only doing it to look good in court

She actually looks good when she isn't trying to show off her tattoos or ears.
It's cute to see Anberlin with a genuine smile too.
