"Ferberizing" is what I did. It's from a book called "Solve Your Child's Sleep Problems" by a doctor named Ferber. Our pediatrician recommended it, and said if it didn't work, he's buy my copy from me. It's modified CIO. You go in every few minutes as long as the kid is crying, and comfort him/her, but don't pick her up. Took two nights with my son to get the idea and settle himself to sleep and not bother me all night. It's not recommended for infants-- just older babies and kids who depend on a caregiver being there to comfort them to sleep. Sorry if that is more information than anyone wanted.

Y'all are probably going to call me nit-picky for this but there's no such term as "should of" or "would of." It's "should HAVE" or "would HAVE". Like 50% of the people on this board get this wrong. I try not to be a huge grammar stickler but this bugs the crap out of me.

See what I did there.

I don't mind grammar mistakes (I always mix up your and you're and I'm usually too lazy to backspace and add an e) as long as the person isn't typing like this: "I'm 2 lazy 2 write normally, ur all gonna b mad @ me 4 it. "

A differing opinion doesn't mean someone's passing judgement or trying to argue. Unless they literally say "your opinion is stupid and I'm right."

It irritates me too that people feel they have to say it's just their opinion in a post or writing "well that's just -your- opinion" when arguing with another poster...yes, clearly every post is the individual author's opinion. Should be implicit on a discussion forum

How long are people going to live in the past???? Yes jesssfam should have moved out a long time ago and yes she should've never had 4 kids so young and yes she should be done with school by now. But Jesus fucking Christ, those things have already happened!!!! How long are you people hoping to bitch about it for?? Build a bridge and get over it. If you don't want to give her praise for taking the right steps to fix her life now then that's fine. But I'm going to assume you're bitter and holding a grudge on someone you don't even know.

I do get that a bunch of speculation that a yter or their kid has some disease or syndrome they may or may not have is ridiculous and time/space wasting though.

People being way too sensitive about "fat shaming" and saying that should be something we aren't allowed to touch.

And defense for Bryan's mother. Because we dislike Bryan he *had* to have lied about his mother bringing home crappy men. I seriously hate when people act like they know their theories are fact.

This is probably referring to me. I defend the fact that we don't know what happened because the story is snowballing every time we see her. Now she's an alcoholic.

Sorry, I have a problem with people diagnosing based on her voice and appearance (and reading into what Bryan said). We can't comment on someone being fat or looking like a pot smoker without everyone arguing, but imply someone "looks like a drinker" and it's fair game?

Someone needs to play devil's advocate. What if she's not an alcoholic, but it's out there like public record? But I've repeatedly said we don't know... not that I'm right and certain she's not.

If it were a jury, I wouldn't be able to convict.
