If someone has been outcast to this degree why would you want to return? While I do not agree with the immature, snarky posts directed at other users that has been going on for a long time, this whole thing feels like a form of bullying. Is there a warning system here? Something similar to 3 strikes and you're out? Because there's nothing to stop this happening again, especially since it seems to go off-site.

I vote for a snark/pet peeve section just for mods that only they can post in but we can read. Because honestly, this thread with the mod banter was the most enertained I've been on ytmd EVER.

I feel like this is going to happen soon:

there's a checks and balances system here. us three mods check with each other before we do ANY modding (with the exception of routine stuff like deleting addresses, editing posts, answering PMs, etc.)
Banning is something no one ever ever ever does lightly. 99.9% of all bans are on spam accounts which happens a lot more than you would think, actually.
The other .1% of bans happen after us mods discuss it. Even if someone is blatantly breaking the rules, we discuss it.
Unlike SOME OF YOU GUYS we don't take our own personal bias to this board and just snark amongst ourselves. This is an exception because this has been like a 6 month building up period.

I still don't understand why anyone runs to a mod if something someone says on a gossip site makes them mad. First of all, this is a gossip site. We're going to disagree. No need for name calling or fighting. Put on your big girl panties, foe them, and unless they are finding out personal things about you and driving by your house or calling your work, get over it. Life is way too short. This is such a first world problem.

I can't view the ytmd boards when I am outside of my house and on my data. Isn't that weird? It tells me I'm banned for being a troll hahah but if I'm on wifi anywhere or if I'm on my data but only inside my house I can view the threads perfectly fine. I've talked to kryponite about it and I forget what the solution was lol I'm too lazy to actually try to fix it though.

This is so childish. I'm not blaming the mods because they're doing what they feel they have to do and what is the most fair. I just think it's pathetic that people can't just agree to disagree and move on! I had an "argument" with HS, once. But who cares? I didn't report her. I didn't hold a grudge. I didn't freak out every time we disagreed in the future. This is all just so silly to me.

Just had to vent that out.

Since I was away last night I couldn't weigh in: Glad HelloSweetie stays. Nothing against snow but HS'd be my pick especially as she is active on multiple threads and adds to the discussion even on smaller yt mums.

I'm a lurker but I love seeing HS's posts even if I don't necessarily agree with everything.

I like most people on here and hope after this the mods get a clearly deserved break.

Everyone should be able to post their opinions on Youtubers without CONSTANT opposing opinions and sarcastic, "Let's agree to disagree (with a smiley face)" BS. Ellie does everything wrong in HS's eyes, from what she eats, wears, how she dresses her children, decorates, laughs, Tweets, talks, cooks, and, oh, and let's not forget that she shouldn't have been sitting at the top of the stairs in the first place when Bonnie pushed her down them.
