I didn't know that Betty! My family members that have medicaid always pay for the taxi themselves. I believe they have to still pay a small fee for the bus/van some use for dr appts to the next city over. Maybe I'm mistaken.

Either way, she can't use like $20 to go to and from the location?

They do, I've used it. They just come early and that's probably what she hates

Here in NY my county has a service for people with Medicaid/Medicare that act as free taxis for appointments covered by Medicaid if you set it up ahead of time.
