I thought the same thing! And how she would show herself doing her fake nod. Poor Abby! She will look back on that and be so sad, I think.

I agree that she does nothing with her kids. She barely takes them anywhere, she never shows the kids playing outside, everything is disciplined and structured and routine and she fills their days up with music and school. Her kids always look bored.

The more I watch the more I dissatisfied I become, quite often they have vacant stares (especially Abby, Julie and Russell).

Poor Chad today. He was clearly embarrassed in the beginning when she was talking about the puberty video, but then he became even more embarrassed later on when she brought it up again. How embarrassing for him.

So the girls wear the same dress to church week after week until fall?

Kevin seems to always be gone, and she has to take care of all the kids, cook, and clean by herself. She doesn't seem to have any time for hersef.
But she's not a very good mom. Eve is not just your average bratty 2-year-old. They need to have way more genuine fun. I'm not surprised Chad is going back to school.

Kevin has seemed annoyed with her in several of this month's videos. He doesn't usually go to the family gatherings and his job would be just weekdays and its not like he's busy fixing up the house like Hot Joel, so I wonder why he doesn't go. I get the impression Ruby's siblings aren't close to her.

My question is how do the kids feel about only having around a week's worth of outfits. I recall when the kids got the new spring shirts for Valentine's Day, Abby and Julie wore their shirts at least 2-3x that week. It's one thing if they only had 2 pairs of jeans or something, I get that but their clothes are often unique and aren't general things that you can get away with wearing multiple times during the week without being noticed. And in that video she never mentioned anything for one of the boys, I believe it was Chad she didn't have anything for

I couldn't imagine re-wearing the same outfits each week, or the same shirt multiple times in one week. I wonder if their friends or teachers notice? I have a little boy in my 1st grade class who wore the same outfit for 3 days in a row before something was mentioned.

I had a friend back in high school who only wore 5 or 6 outfits during the school week. I know I definitely noticed but I'm not sure if anyone else did.

Ruby should put her kids in catholic school so then they have uniforms lol. I loved having uniforms! Didn't have to buy as much clothes and everyone was the same no judging! And they were very flattering (the ones I had lol)

In Australia all schools have a school uniform. I loved it, I would of been so stressed out having to pick an outfit everyday!

Does anyone else get the impression lately that Kevin has kind of checked out? I always get the feeling that he would rather be at work. He seems like he loves his kids, but is just going through the motions in the marriage.

From the few vlogs I watched I totally go that vibe. He is present- but doesn't seem present if you know what I mean. He just lets ruby do her thing, humours her. But there is no passion or spark between the two.

I always forget that they are only in their early 30s... They seem much older.
Kevin is sexy. I'm sure his female students find him attractive. I wonder if Ruby ever secretly worries about Female students crushing on her husband.

I find it difficult to fathom the dinners Ruby gets away with serving. Recently, one of the kids complained about having chicken noodle soup for dinner again, it seems they had it the night before. I took a good look at the table and a modest bowl of soup was all that was served. There weren't any dishes to indicate bread or salad was served along with the soup. I noticed that Kevin's dinner was the same and he was silent. Meanwhile, Ruby encouraged everyone to eat so they'd not likely have soup for their next dinner. Wow. The whole episode blew my mind.

Where the fuck do these Griffith kids get these weird eating habits from? It's always like they're scraping from the bottom of the barrel for food with their bland staples and minuscule serving sizes.

For Ruby it's all about the budget I guess. She had that freak out when she finally decided to up her grocery budget because the kids were getting bigger and eating more. She clearly needs to up it some more since she appears to be scraping by with food. Her nacho night was just sad. Literally just 2 trays of chips, cheese, and leftover pulled pork. Maybe that'd be good for a snack but how about some freaking fruits and veggies or something substantial. And Eve always is cramming a whole burrito thing in her mouth like she's desperate for food. And Ruby is always saying cooking is her passion and she loves making recipe videos but it sure doesn't show..

I wonder what meals were like with Jennifer. I'm sure a lot of it came from that too. Ellie and Ruby seem most alike and most eager to be like their mom with the anal organizing, scarce clothing options for the kids, and wannabe minimalist mindsets.

I hope Ruby reads here lol or pops over now because of that comment. I'm cynical and that would bring me some joy Image I don't think she's a terrible mother or person but her strange habits just irk me! And if Ruby was reading here, I'm sure she'd take it to the sibling group chat they have and all of them would come read!
