I thought the same thing! And how she would show herself doing her fake nod. Poor Abby! She will look back on that and be so sad, I think.

I agree that she does nothing with her kids. She barely takes them anywhere, she never shows the kids playing outside, everything is disciplined and structured and routine and she fills their days up with music and school. Her kids always look bored.
I just watched this blog today remembered these comments, I felt so bad for Abby! Ruby just kept cutting away from her explanation and paying attention to Eve who wasn't even doing anything. And then she went ahead and turned the camera towards her while Abby was still talking like it was the most boring thing she ever heard. I thought you guys were over dramatizing the event the other day when I read that but I really feel bad for Abby (and Julie).

How could Eve have climbed up to that playhouse display by herself? I don't understand why Ruby is so overwhelmed by Eve. You're the parent, discipline her!

I can't imagine what those employees and other shoppers were thinking. Here child is up on play set display and she's standing there filming herself talking to a camera. She is a little menace. And running away, locking a door, and hiding when she's told to do something she doesn't want? And she just whines and whines and whines.

I would of put the camera down and concentrate on taking care of your child in the store. Eve, she is a menace and it's setting her up for failure in the future.

Todays descriptions box says: "I have a love hate relationship with Costco. I love to shop there, but hate that my kids are lured in by their fun displays."

Can't stop laughing. Yeah, it's definitely Costco's fault. Lol.

I sure do hope Russell got a special treat for being a good boy, knowing Ruby he more than likely didn't though.

Yeah, the only one who seems to get rewarded is Eve for being bad and Shari for being older and more forceful and articulate in what she wants.

I don't dislike Ruby like a lot of you do, but I do get totally annoyed by Eve. She's a rotten brat.

Someone mentioned on daily bumps board so it reminded me...
Did anyone watch the utility tour which by the way was basic as Fuh but seriously did you hear how ruby said BUTTONS oh my god you have to go watch and listen. Serious wtf!?! She said it like 10 times and really over pronounced her TTs and it kind of sounded like 2 words.
Totes weird. She's just weird in generally and as for vlogging finding your kid up in a freaking play gym... I'd be too distraught to even think about getting my camera out!

How can one handle 6 kids. I think after the second one I'd go on Birth Control and be done with it. I think some people who have had the big family dynamic go and do that for themselves as well because that's what they grew up in. Nowadays you don't see larger families most people opt for not to even have kids or they just have one. Perhaps that's why half her kids gets whatever they want or do what they want.

Ok, I get the concept of storing food for emergencies, but it seems like Ruby is prepared for like the apocalypse or something. That's so much food :-o

If she has this huge food room, why is she starving herself so badly she is shaking?

I find the food room pretty bizarre, probably just because I don't know a single person that does this. I think it's nice to have a backup in case things get rough but it seems like this is the church's way of covering it's ass after telling all these families to reproduce unchecked despite their income. Less charity they have to do if all the families have a huge stock like that. And it seems pretty excessive. 100s of pounds of rice?! And orange juice mix in case they had to use stale water? It's literally like she's preparing for the world to end. There meals also seem to lack a lot in fruits and vegetables, I really can't imagine they are that poor, I think Ruby is just cheap. Also she said in the comments that she gets some of this stuff at the LDS cannery. Anyone know more about why that is? Like is it a store just for food stocking or more like a food pantry? I want to see Jennifer's food storage if she has one. I bet that'd be a sight.

^ Maybe she's referring to case lot sales? I've heard She's In Her Apron talk about Utah having those sales where they can buy a whole case of canned food.

I think a lot of members in the States take this self-reliance thing way too far. Food rooms and stock piling to the point of food expiring are unnecessary.

I don't see a problem with the food storage, I know a few people who do the same, coincidentally they all have a large amount of kids as well. Plus I will probably have a food storage place, but mainly because of the inevitable apocalypse lol. But I do see it as weird when ruby is starving herself with all that food below. Maybe she sees the storage as only possible to use if in a dire financial emergency or something?
Just the opinion of an internet stranger. Don't take anything personally, for your own sake as well as mine.

She mentioned Eve made it up to that playground in the sky after taking her eye off of her for one minute. No way. She would have needed at least 5 minutes to get all the way up there.
