It seems like fewer and fewer universities are taking spring or winter transfers anymore. My girlfriend was intending to come to my city for school (after doing her 4 year degree in the States) and won't be able to come until September of 2017 because she missed the transfer date and the university only accepts fall transfers. I found the same situation to be true in planning to apply for nursing school now that i've done my HCA diploma--nowhere is accepting spring or winter semester transfer students. It's frustrating.vonniebeth wrote:Isn't it possible for her to transfer in the spring?? I'm not sure if all universities do that. I know we had a few transfers come to my university in the spring semester. She could have taken one semester off and maybe did some preparation for her program. Procreating because you're going to be bored for a year is the dumbest excuse I've ever heard! I feel bad for the poor baby already. "We conceived you because Mommy didn't want to be bored for a year."

wait how is online schooling a scam?
its not if you go through a real accredited university.... I go to Liberty University, its an actual school with a real campus that also has online degree programs. She could get her teaching degree online.... its not hard at all

I agree. Being pregnant and drawing attention with her drama is her calling.kittypurry wrote:She talks about this "year to kill" as if having 4-6 kids and not being pregnant would be boring. If being a mother really is her calling, wouldn't she get a good amount of satisfaction and fulfillment out of mothering the kids she already has? You shouldn't need to find something else to entertain yourself with when you have the means and opportunity to perform your "calling" already

I know that this is really OT but I wonder if Jess went into a career that would involve pregnancy/birth/babies it would help her with her pregnancy/newborn addiction? Like if she became a doula or something like that. There was another youtube mommy I used to watch, she had five kids and she became a doula. I think it was a good choice for her since this youtuber has a fascination with birth than is more than the average person, and it might help her tame her baby fever

As its Jesss we are talking about i think she is doing it so she can milk it out for views, the easter surprise videos has less than 200.000 views and with one more Kid they need more money lolArielLipstick wrote:I have to admit I'm really surprised at Jess considering not finding out the sex until they are born. Part of it is the fact that she seems really impatient and part of it is I can't see her being happy with putting her daughter in "gender neutral" clothes and room. I was really convinced she was trying for a girl, but if you had a deep preference wouldn't you want to find out early and get all your disappointment out before they are born?
i can see her coming up with 884832 ways/tests/experiments to find out what gender it is, then a video showing a tally chart with the results and once #5 is born theres gonna be a riddle or something before she announces what it is.
I would not buy her beeing "gender neutral" now all of the sudden, yet i have the feeling she will choose a unisex name. Maybe Casey or Jamie as she has no "Match" yet hahaha
Re: JesssFam: We're Gonna Need A Bigger Van - Part 70
So I just found out there's this thing call superfetation where you can get pregnant while already pregnant effectively giving you twins at different stages of development
If anyone can get double pregnant my bets are on Jess

So she hasn't even earned $1000 from the video...I still call that she'll find out the gender.alexmorgan wrote:As its Jesss we are talking about i think she is doing it so she can milk it out for views, the easter surprise videos has less than 200.000 views and with one more Kid they need more money lolArielLipstick wrote:I have to admit I'm really surprised at Jess considering not finding out the sex until they are born. I feel like Jess is going to be one of those people who go to school for a ridiculously long time just to not have to work. She probably thinks why should she go to work when YouTube and getting pregnant every other year has been working for her? She still talks about teaching like kids talk about what they want to be when they grow up

I know a handful of people who went to online school and were never able to transfer/find a legit job in that field. I honestly would not trust any online schooling. My father and step father both work in a field were they are constantly hiring and routinely turn away people from online schools.
To all ladies in or thinking of online schools. Be very careful!!!

Agree. I wish they were legit because I prefer taking online courses but even the ones that are supposedly real usually turn out to be scamsSaltandBurn wrote:I know a handful of people who went to online school and were never able to transfer/find a legit job in that field. I HATE how she has 4 kids and is pregnant with a 5th and yet she'll still have the means to go back to school right away.
Like what would she do if grammie couldn't watch her kids for her and pick them off/drop them off etc.
I know family is there to help/support but she totally takes advantage of that. Especially with her grammie watching all her kids when she has trouble walking and stuff. I would never even think of asking my grandma to watch my 4 (soon to be 5) kids all the time.
She doesn't have to do anything on her own and she knows it. Must be nice to get away with that. I really hope her family puts their foot down and makes her actually be held accountable for her dumb decisions

How sad for her to keep wanting to go to school and keep having kids, It may sound awful but why keep having more and more children and try to go to school that just takes more time away from the children you wanted to bring into this world! Why not finish school before having multiple other children then continue on having more after I are done with school?! I think it's just sad for the children she keeps having. She could've finished school after Lilian and had several other children but at least their mother would have an education and job already.

Re: JesssFam: We're Gonna Need A Bigger Van - Part 70
First off- sending you love during your pregnancy- as Im sure no matter how wanted or longed for a child is- pregnancy still has tons of sucky factors!snarkyblonde wrote:Dude...I'm 26 and pregnant with my first. I have severe morning sickness (hyperemesis gravidarum), so I know my opinions here are a bit skewed...but HOLY CRAP, I cannot imagine wanting to be pregnant 4 times. Being pregnant is miserable. Also, saying she's less sick because she's more busy? I work 60-80 hour weeks running a center for kids with disabilities. Being busy has nothing to do with it. I can't tell you how many times in the last 5 months I've literally had to chuck a kid to a coworker so I can run to the bathroom, haha! Poor kiddos..
Also 100% agree with the person a few pages back who said this is super insensitive to people who have trouble conceiving or miscarriages. We ultimately were able to conceive on our own, but were in the process of being assessed by fertility experts. That time was super painful, and I am thankful every single day for this baby. Even if she just said something about "We are so fortunate to be able to conceive so easily".
I'm a psych nerd. I remember way back when I was taking abnormal psychology in undergrad the topic of the Duggars came up. We tossed around the idea that Mama Duggar most likely has some degree of Munchausen syndrome, and essentially thrives off the attention she receives from pregnancy. This is 100% Jess to a T. She can't not have attention on her, and what better way than to be pregnant? Perfect example is thinking she waited "SOOOOO LONG" to tell people...and then it turns out it was only 2 weeks. It's destroying her body, her kids are poorly cared for, and she literally is the laughing stock of Youtube but it doesn't matter because she needs that attention.
And basically that's how I feel. I personally don't think it's cruel to say "He looks at me and I get pregnant" but I do think its more thoughtful to say, "We were so lucky- I know that is not the case for everyone- so I'm very thankful." Actually- was just watching a youtuber the other day that said JUST that same thing- and I think her extra thoughtfulness really showed extra sweet character.
I too think pregnancy addiction is a cousin of Munchausen syndrome. I think its mostly from cultural factors. With Fundies- its the only time women get a lot of attention (besides weddings). Jess isn't a fundie- but I think he deep insecurities make her the perfect personality to get addicted to the attention that comes with having babies.
I want a lot of kids- but I *dread* the attention of pregnancy. My husband and I will likely enjoy the adventure together- but I just have no interest in talking about pregnancy details to everyone or people noticing I'm pregnant when I'm out and about. For me- its just a means to an end (which is a beautiful addition to our family).
Re: JesssFam: We're Gonna Need A Bigger Van - Part 70
Exactly. There's nothing wrong with having a family that's willing to help, but she's taking advantage of it at this point. She continues to get pregnant, expecting her family to catch her if (let's be real, when) something goes wrong. Her mom especially is a pushover and enables her pregnancy addiction. I feel for Wendy, but she needs to put her foot down and make sure her daughter understands that she can't come running back to her house every time her relationship fails, and depend on her to be a free babysitter for her hoard of kids. It's unfair.malal22 wrote:I HATE how she has 4 kids and is pregnant with a 5th and yet she'll still have the means to go back to school right away.

Don't even get me started on how Ben must feel. He was over it by Jess's second pregnancy lol.

"This is just what I want."
Well, that's absolutely lovely for you Jess, but you already have four kids who are relying on you for a stable home. You have those four already because getting pregnant three times (most likely behind your partners' backs) was "just what you wanted". What you want is completely irrelevant when you're adding more upheaval into their already tumultuous lives, with the husband you've not even known for two years yet. Maybe it's time to stop thinking about what you want and start considering what's best for the kids you've already brought into the world.

Considering how many kids she's had in such a short space of time her stomach wasn't as awful looking as I was expecting.

Funny how in the video there's a whole lot of "I"s like "I don't want to find out gender so I'm going to convince Chris" "I have a year to kill" "I was planning on conceiving in summer" you know instead of "we" (there were others that stood out but I forgot) makes it seem like it was all her leading the charge in having another baby. But that's probably true
Re: JesssFam: We're Gonna Need A Bigger Van - Part 70
Maybe subconsciously she knows she's going to end up pregnant and alone againSamanthaLovettx wrote:Funny how in the video there's a whole lot of "I"s like "I don't want to find out gender so I'm going to convince Chris" "I have a year to kill" "I was planning on conceiving in summer" you know instead of "we" (there were others that stood out but I forgot) makes it seem like it was all her leading the charge in having another baby.
