TheNiveNulls: Austin on Trial, Britt in Denial - Part Three
TheNiveNulls: Austin on Trial, Britt in Denial - Part Three
I watched their travel video and I will say that they handled their tickets being taken away for not checking in on time in a much more mature manner than drama queen Bryan lmao. They understood and even made a #firstworldproblem comment lol I wonder if they are kinda making fun of Bryan in their minds lol

Lmfao, super embarrassed for them. They can act like Austin cheating didn't happen all they want but it still did and they don't have to ignore just cause you are. I can't believe they just thought they could go to a convention and everything would be fine.

They are determined to be the victim. I doubt they would be any different if they were on the other side. What do they expect?

I wonder who Britt's tweet is about? I'm guessing Shay and Colette Butler or Sam from Samika

She stopped following Shay and Colette. I'm not sure they should have gone, but Colette and she were supposedly best friends, so it's pretty cruel to ditch her because of something her husband did. And aren't Shay and Colette supposed to be Christian? Didn't Christ preach forgiveness? And Charles Trippy cheated on his wife, and they're still buds. I don't think it was ever proven that Charles treated but it is so true. If friends of mine were going through infidelity and trying to work through it I would support both of them and it wouldn't change my friendship. I can understand Austen's videos being embarrassing lol but it is what it is. True friends would still be there. I have more respect for Cullen and Katie
Re: TheNiveNulls: Austin on Trial, Britt in Denial - Part Th
Shay and Colette have every right to decide not to be friends with them. I don't feel bad at all.
The Butlers do not need their image tarnished by association, and that friendship's benefits were highly one-sided.
Shay and Colette are older, wiser, and weren't getting much from the Nulls other than a basketball partner. The Nulls used the Butlers for fame.

Re: TheNiveNulls: Austin on Trial, Britt in Denial - Part Th
Maybe Shay and Colette were upset over them knowing their audience would be exposed to Austin's videos and they did nothing to warn them? If I were in their position, I would be upset if I helped them out by promoting them my audience. It makes them look bad. I wonder if they gave Shay and Colette a heads up? The whole ordeal reflects terribly on the vlogger community in general. I understand why the Shaytards wouldn't be so quick to get over it. I think Brittany saying anything publicly is a bad idea. I understand that it hurts that she's being dumped by her "bestfriend". The way they handled the situation was awful. I don't blame any of their vlogger friends for dropping them.
Re: TheNiveNulls: Austin on Trial, Britt in Denial - Part Th
Youtube is all about appearance. Each family probably sat down and decided what they thought would be best for them.
Shay and Colette obviously decided they didn't want their names attached to Austin, and I can respect that. Unfortunately for Britt, her staying with Austin means she is shunned too.
Cullen and Katie obviously decided that they were in it for friendship and didn't think it would harm their youtube presence. And I can respect that, too.
When your life is in the public eye, every decision you make has to reflect that.

Re: TheNiveNulls: Austin on Trial, Britt in Denial - Part Th
They don't have to promote the Nulls to their audience. But if it's true that the Butlers turned their back on Britt, that's just not right. Shay was perfectly willing to cultivate friendships to build _his_ channel, so saying that the Nulls used them is also hypocritical. He got his millions because he moved to LA to collaborate with Maker. I'm not agreeing with Britt publicly saying something, but if a friend of mine had a husband who humiliated her the way Austin did, I wouldn't dump her out of some misguided morality.

Britt claims that she knew Austin's dirty dick videos would be floating around the internet for anyone to see. She was willing to allow all of the kids who watch them to be exposed to those videos. I probably wouldn't be friends with her after that either. Maintaining their image was more important. What Austin did to Britt was really messed up, but she's adult who lives a public life. She has to deal with the consequences of the failed attempt to maintain their image.

It's one thing for people to forgive, it's another for them condone. If you forgive, you're likely condoning.
If I was friends with somebody and they did something I thought was so out of character for the person I thought I knew, it would make me rethink the entire friendship. If someone lies and cheats on the person who they created a home and family with, what would the cheater be willing to do to their friends?
What did they think would happen? Everybody sweep it under the rug and act like they were the wholesome Christian family they make themselves out to be?
No. The husband/daddy fingers his asshole for women that aren't his wife.

Re: TheNiveNulls: Austin on Trial, Britt in Denial - Part Th
I guess I'm a hypocrite because I would be utterly crushed and would hate to be shunned by people who I thought were friends after my husband humilitiated me by cheating so, so stupidly. (Face in the pics/videos? Like come'on!)
Butttttttt, I would also distance myself from someone who openly spoke about morality but was a dirty, dirty liar/cheater this whole time. Like, I'd feel like I didn't truly know them, so it would be okay to let them go as friends.
So yeah, hypocrite here but I'm cool with it.

Re: TheNiveNulls: Austin on Trial, Britt in Denial - Part Th
I understand why Britt would be hurt, but what did she expect? Not everyone is living in denial and pretending everything's okay like she is. She kisses the ground Austin walks on and it's so sad. She's always making excuses for him, calls him handsome all the time while he makes sly digs at her, along for the ride of whatever ridiculous thing he wants to do. She only lets her kids see his family and is obsessed with them more than her own family. Britt is a sad sad woman and I would not want to be her or live in her fantasyland.

Sam and Austin are still friendly according to comments
God I feel like I could feel the elephant in the room through the screen.
