I wonder sometimes if it's their networks that pushes them together. Like they all get an email saying that it's time for them to get together. I think out of respect they (DB & EJ) should be letting Cullen&Katie rest now just before the baby comes. I'd not want a huge crowd of people just before giving birth. This is their time to relax and prepare.

It's a smart move from a business/marketing perspective. DB & EJ have substantially more subscribers so being seen by them for a couple days can only help them gain more. It's not costing them much more because it's their (family's) house and they are going there anyway.

I feel terrible for Katie. She's the only mature person in the bunch, I love Cullen but he stoops so low when stupid pineapple head Bryan and Jared are there. Missy and Ellie seem so cold with Katie in my opinion. They're probably stimulated by her confidence and brain. Ollie isn't my favorite either.

If their networks were pushing them together, I think they would find better options for all involved. There are other vloggers on Fullscreen that C&K could pick up new viewers from. They don't even need to have more subscribers than them, but a little difference in their audience. For example, C&K could hook up with Chad and Gabe Radar. They're around the same age. They are family vloggers with a young son. Chad has ties to Alabama. Both are college educated and had professional jobs before youtube. They're also Christians who are active in church and their community. Gabe & Chad have a different audience than C&K, but their viewers would likely enjoy C&K too (if they never learn about the nappy hair comment). I really don't think the network is too involved in who they're friends with. DBCKEJ are friends because they want to be friends. They like each other. They enjoy spending time together. They see each other atleast 4 or 5 times each year. It's not a business deal.

I hate it when C&Ks vlogs have the other families in them. I just don't get it at all. Their real life friends seem like nice, genuine people and not at all like this bunch nor do C&K act like this bunch. I really hate I have to watch E&J. Ellie and her insane shouting. Poor Katie can't even drink to deal with these asshats. I'm really thinking she puts up with this for Cullen, as he seems to enjoy these friendships. None of them women seem to click with one another though.

I was just using them as an example. If their networks were pushing them together, on paper Gabe and Chad would be more ideal. They would actually benefit from each other.

I think Cullen generally likes being around Bryan and Jarred. Katie is obviously very supportive of her husband and goes along with it.

It might be a smart move on DB or E&J's end to vacay together, but not for C&K's. Even though they each say to check out the other 2 channels, C&K seem to get the least amount of new subscribers from the group vacations. Most of the DB & E&J subs are kids and C&K vlogs don't appeal to kids.

My above comment is if it's a business deal putting them together and not them actually wanting to get together. That's on C&K if they really like hanging out with the others. I don't get what Katie see's in Missy or Ellie. I think what originally brought the couples together was the fact they all struggled with fertility and getting their first babies. It doesn't seem the women have anything in common anymore and the guys only have drones and acting like idiots. I'd love to be a fly on the wall of that beach house though and see what it's like when the cameras are turned off.

Bryan went on Periscope when E&J got to the beach house. I couldn't get more than 1 minute in because he was talking so loud. I read in the DB forum it only got worse because Ellie started yelling too. I think we are in for some very loud vlogs the next few days. Do we know yet how long everyone is staying?

It's definitely not a network deal because these three are very small fish. They'll get invited to network events, maybe, but no one's going out of the way to make money off of them

I agree that the husbands appear to enjoy each other's company, or at least are better at feigning excitement, while the wives just seem less than close. I think we've all been thrown together in a group because your significant others but you probably wouldn't be friends with these people otherwise. They can find common ground, especially since they all have kids and can focus their attention on that, but the rapport doesn't necessarily flow and they don't necessarily share similarities in how they parent. Missy and Ellie can talk about home renovations and "decorating" but Katie is already settled in her house and I get the impression they don't spend money needlessly like the other couples. If I were Katie, I'd be particularly annoyed with Ellie since shes way too flirtatious with Cullen.

I hope that C&K take Finn being there to their advantage. Meaning they should try and do a lot with Finn, carry him, help feed him, things like that, so that it can give MG a small dose of the reality that is about to hit her. I'm worried that she is going to have a really hard time adjusting to Brooks, i'm sure that C&K will deal with it appropriately, but them showing Finn a little more than normal attention would be a great indicator to them as to what they can be working on with MG these last few weeks before he gets here. Plus we all know Missy would LOVE having someone taking care of him for her...
