Missy is just awkward, did you guys see how she greeted Katie? I can't see them doing much bonding, Missy doesn't seem to have much interest in being close friends.

I think we definitely see more genuine moments between K&C and E&J, rather than B&M.

I mean that cna be said for most adult friendships. You have your best friends who you have known since high school/college, then work friends and then mom friends. Maybe some girlfriends you know through your partner. I take my kids to a playgroup (In Ontario, called Early years if anyone else is from Ontario) and I met about 4 other moms who we know rotate playdates at our houses.I like them alot but I probably wouldnt have much to talk to them about if it wasnt for our kids. I think adult friendships are just different than when you are younger. They are important but they take a backseat to work, husbands and kids.. does that make sense?
I am sure they all like eachother but there is also the novelty of only seeing eachother a few times a year.

Yes, it's common to have people you're friendly with but not necessarily close to. But it's kind of unusual to vacation with those people. Bryan shared what looked like a promotional poster for this vacation. That, and the hashtag, makes it feel very work-related. Almost like a vlogger summit. I think they let their kids play together and talk shop, and think of silly things to do for the vlogs to get more views.

Who could have an authentic friendship with the Dumbs? I think they are incapable of any form of authenticity. They are severely emotionally stunted people who only find fleeting fulfillment in acquiring stuff. They are too selfish and lazy to invest in anyone outside themselves.

I think friendships do take a backseat to kids and husbands when your kids are little. However, they kind of pick back up as your kids become more independent.

Yeah, there's no way Katie is remotely amused by Bryan. The creepy comments about Gaines and Ollie aside, she was rolling her eyes so hard when Bryan was pointing the camera at her in the rain and saying "Wet t-shirt contest! Woohoo!" like a moron. She would totally rather be at home getting the nursery ready rather than performing for a creepy 26-year-old man who's in love with himself.

This is a presumption on my part, but judging by their appearance and the fact that they're from the south, I'm assuming they tanned quite a bit in their 20s. That will age you quickly. I think they know they've gained weight and they don't care, which is fine. It's their prerogative. But yeah, they aged quite visibly between 23 and 33. It's not always so dramatic for everyone, especially if you take care of your skin and have a healthy lifestyle.

I've been binge watching vlogs to get caught up and now I'm at a wall where the stupid "vacay" starts. Do. Not. Want.

I'll just avoid the vlogs for a week and come here to see the snark, lol. I seriously can't even with DailyBumps anymore and I've never been an E+J fan... it's like caricatures of people or a family. No thanks...

I hate that this stupid "vacay" crap has become a thing. It seems so pointless and especially so for Cullen and Katie. They don't gain any viewers, really, and they're so busy with preparations for Brooks that they need to be home, not babysitting their YT "friends" awkwardly at the beach. Cullen's annoying dials up to eleven when they're around, too. His interactions with their actual friends and family seem way more genuine...

I'm a dork and keeping track of the number of subs CK is gaining from the vacay vlogs compared to the other's channels. I know Social Blade keeps track of that kind of thing, but their charts confuse me. lol I'm sure they don't get an increase in subs they way DB or even EJ get because their vlogs are not full of child-like antics. I'm not even sure how this beach trip is going with the kid viewers. Having a wet t-shirt contest? Even though they didn't have the real grown-up version of one, should these kids even hear the term?

I feel like that as Daily Bumps have progressed with vlogging they are thinking more about money and not family. Do Bryan and Missy have college degrees if this doesn't work out long term? C&K deserve to have 10x the subbies then the other families!!! More mature than the other parents. Honestly think they don't know how to get rid of M&B and E&J. I do not like the E&J because they poke me wrong.

Taking the focus off their age for a second, something i was thinking about last night...
Do we think Katie is still working from home? I know her job had flexibility in it and she was able to scale down big time and work from home. She totally still could be working from home, I get that they dont show that kind of stuff, but she was going into work a couple days a month if im not mistaken. We haven't seen that in a while, and i know that doesn't mean she's NOT working, but i just wonder if you guys think she has quit like i think she has. It's her prerogative if she wants to work or not, clearly they are able to afford her not to work right now, and her degree will still be relevant IF she decided to go back to work (or YT dries up and she has too), i just wondered if anyone else had thought about her work situation lately.

I'm sorry to say it, but everyone in that vlogger circle is not aging well. Bryan and Missy are, well, Bryan and Missy. Ellie's dramatic weight loss ages her considerable, and Jared looks haggard too. That's not nice of me to say, but it's the truth. I don't have a gripe with Cullen and Katie, I don't agree with everything they do but overall they come across as fairly normal and likable as far as daily vloggers go. They've both acknowledged that they're not in shape, and have gained weight over the past five years or so, but they've never really expressed a desire to overhaul their diets or get more active. That's fine, it's their life. But the weight gain and the sun damage does age them. I know plenty of people in their mid to late 30s and older who look great, it's not just a product of getting older. It's a mix of genetics and how you take care of yourself.
