So I've only recently started following this family. I have some questions:
1) Why was Chad homeschooled?
2) Why is Russell being homeschooled?
3) Why is Eve called Evil? I mean, the close-ups of her scare me a tad but why is she actually referred to as evil?

Ruby is really irking me today just because a dog is big, doesn't mean it should be left outside!! The whole griffiths family just kills me with this. Don't get a dog if it is not able to live in the house and be part of the family. I often forget they have a dog and I'm not sure if I've ever seen its living conditions outside? It gets incredibly hot and cold where they live-it's cruel to keep a dog out in that. We rarely see he dog so I don't know what kind of extremes the weather has to be for Naliegh to come inside. Shes getting some serious (well-deserved) hate for it in the comments. There's also a comment with a lot of likes saying Russell needs to toughen up at school and not be at home with mommy. Lol AGREED

Someone was asking her in another vlog why she was pushing the dog away and she said it was because it was touching her with its wet nose. It really made me sad to wonder what she'd do if the poor dog tried to lick or kiss her. No animal wants to live in a cage and a yard is a cage if the animal receives no other stimulation. :(

She talks to all the viewers like they are all children. Asking if you had a male teacher what would you do? WHen do you go back to school? Is everyone 12? Seriously, she is driving off her adult audience.

Lol what kind of question is that? My grandma had male teachers in high school and she was born in the 20s Image they're still less common than female teachers but by far not an oddity!

1) He was having behaviour issues at school so she decided to homeschool him for one year to work on his attitude. It seems it worked, so now he is going back to school.
2) He is physically slightly behind other kids his age and he is quite a sensitive child. So Ruby think she is protecting him by not sending him to kindergarten with all the other kids.
3) She is a brat.

I don't think i will really ever understand this. I know a few people who were held back (did pre-k twice) and that seems better to me then sheltering him even more?

I'm also puzzled as to why she talks to her audience like this. I feel like I'm watching Dora the explorer and she is asking me dumb questions like "which one is a triangle??"

And her hands. Especially when she constantly points at things.

I completely forgot that was his career. Did ruby go to college? I wonder if it's 'okay' for men to be college professors because it's more likely for mormon men to go to college over the women.
I believe she went to college to meet a husband, didnt she? The How we met vlog goes into greater depth

Same. I hate the way she pronounces things. The way she said clothes when she was telling the girls they should start a clothing line bugged me. Go watch her laundry room tour to hear her over annunciate the t's in buttons a million times.

I honestly think he would do fine in regular kindergarten. He loved his preschool so much. And besides, who would want Ruby as their teacher, anyway??
Argh yes! I did too, he looked SO excited to find out then. BAM. let down.
My son is behind physically and mentally, but he goes, if anything its helped.
I have nothing against people that home school, but she seems to do it more for her needs and convenience

Yes! It's like she's so above who she's speaking to that she needs to collect her thoughts real quick and dumb it down for us peons.

If you notice, she has a speech impediment. If she pronounces a word that has a single consonant + r, she has difficulty expressing the r sound. So, she pronounces dress as dess with a little slur. Maybe she's self conscious about it.

If you listen to her dad, they actually have the same accent. It's a strong Utahan accent.

Dang y'all are always making good points lol Russell would really benefit from school.

When I have time (because of work) I volunteer in my daughters class and there's this little boy who does run like the "other" kids but it's ok. No one makes fun of him.

If she's so into homeschool why hasn't she been doing a home preschool program with eve and Russell all summer ?! The older kids would probably love to be involved and help out.
maybe then Russell would be "ready" ( imo he is, all kids start kindergarten at different levels and it's fine!)

I may be naive, but I can't imagine Chad having discipline problems or anger issues at school to the extent that he needed to be home-schooled by Ruby. I also believe that going to Kindergarten would be a great benefit for Russell. I hate to say it, but I believe Ruby gained a lot of subscribers when she began to home-school Chad. I can't be sure that was her intent for doing it with Chad. But Ido believe that is why she is set to home-school Russell. She draws in a lot of Christian Conservative moms by tagging Home-Schooling in her videos. If I were home schooling my child, I'd be looking yo network with other moms doing the same thing.

It really bums me out that she seems to now be catering to kids. I personally think it is a mistake on her part. Let the kids watch to see her kids, no big deal. But pandering to children is a turn off for me.
