I don't think they are throwing shade at anyone. I think they are way more mature than that, but I do think they take pride in how smart their daughter is. They don't NEED to take her out, they don't need to buy her things to keep her happy. They do what they think is best for her. Unlike B+M who shove their child in front of a screen then giggle when he ask where his present it. PERSONAL: I used to buy my younger brother stuff all the time, part of it was because I felt guilty for going places and not taking him with me. My parents spoil the hell out him, and now he's used to it. He will constantly ask for a snack, or a small toy. He's 9 now and I don't see it really stopping anytime soon. Again my parents are to blame, they never say no and even when they do he still gets away with something.

I think C&K are definitely mentioning stuff to side-eye Daily Bumps. In the vlog from Saturday Gaines was shown saying "peek-a-boo" instead of "peek bee" because they play peek-a-boo in music and she learned to say it the right way. Katie said she wished Gaines would still say peek bee because it's so cute, but (and I quote) "I guess one day you gotta go into the real world and say it right". That could also be towards E&J since Ellie thinks quarts counters are a thing.

Then Gaines wanted a band-aid off, but it looks like it was pulling at her skin when Cullen tried to take it off and she started crying. Cullen distracted her and got her laughing and no more tears. He didn't egg her on for vlog views.

The dining room had red velvet flocked wallpaper, and one of the bathrooms looked like it was painted with Pepto Bismol.

And for all that were asking about Kelley & Jay's new house, I can only find info for their old house. Maybe because the move was so recent? I'm not sure.

Okay, so I'm nosey. But I'm sure I could come up with a reason why Kelly and Jay's last home is related to C&K's new home search. Lol, what can you tell me about their last home? I only recall seeing everyone in the family room and they once showed the basement media area. Do tell!

I admit that fir a bit I didn't want to give C&K credit for throwing shade. I guess I preferred to believe that they don't give much thought to DB or E&J, and they have just been doing their thing. (Also, I rarely watch those common vloggers these days--no time!) But damn! IN YOUR FACE! When Cullen was talking about Brooks and his schedule while Katie was out doing an activity with Gaines, either music or gymnastics, it makes for a significant contrast in parenting. Ellie couldn't even bother to stay home with Calvin and try to find out what kind of baby she had! And there really is nothing better than a new baby that's been fed and is in a peaceful slumber. It really warms a home in my opinion.

It was interesting how Cullen pointed out that half his viewers are not subscribers. There has to be some financial incentive to having subscribers. I think Cullen does put a lot into their channel and treats it like a business.
It isn't a traditional job compared to his father and brother in-law, but I think he works hard at it.

I was super annoyed by that too. I would expect it from a teenage boy, but not grown men with families. It's just a phone that everyone will have within the next month or so. I intend to buy one, but I'm not that excited about it. It's a new toy. After about a day or so, I'll forget that it's new and it will be back to business as usual with my phone. I think I'm more excited about Apple reducing the price of getting your screen fixed if you crack it. I feel like I won't need a case anymore.

I expect it from Bryan because he's immature and shallow. But for Cullen to make such a big deal about it seems weird. Didn't Jared and Bryan shame him into going out and buying a new camera once? That he cares enough what they think to make a big deal about the new iPhone which comes out every year, is just disappointing.

Cullen is easily influenced by Bryan, but I think Cullen's family keeps him more grounded. I imagine Grandberry would smack the hell out of Cullen if he were a giant douche like Bryan.

It's their names with "grand" in front of them. I guess they did it so Gaines can distinguish between the grandparents. Maybe it's also a southern thing...
