Such a huge difference in what Cullen tags videos vs EJ and DB. The "major potty training milestone" vlog of CK's... none of the tags mentioned potty training, the bathroom, the potty, etc.

I can't wait to see tomorrow's vlog with Gaines' birthday party. She looked beyond thrilled and excited and happy in the pictures C&K posted on Instagram/Twitter.

I could see B&M saying "I know you guysss said bread was bad for them, but we've always fed them bread and so that's what we're going to keep doing" and E&J would just ignore the suggestions altogether.

So happy and glad Gaines is wanting to go potty on her own. It shows she is much smarter and raised better too.

I love C&K, don't get me wrong. But I don't think Gaines wanting to go potty on her own shows she's smarter or raised better than kids that don't want to potty on the toilet at 2 years old. Kids develop at much different rates and being potty trained is more than just a "smart" thing - they have to be developmentally ready for it too. I think Cullen & Katie listening to Gaines and going forward with the potty training when Gaines is showing she's ready and eager to start is what sets them apart from the other YTers (*cough*BryanandMissy*cough*)

I feel like such a chump. The birthday party vlog made me cry. I generally really dislike party themes (and clothes) that involve licensed characters, but that was a sweet little party and Gaines loved it so much. Completely age appropriate and not tacky at all, even though it eeeeeasily could have been.

I always roll my eyes when vloggers launch into their "we do this for the memories" spiels, but someday Gaines will be able to look back at videos like this one and see how much C&K love and cherish her.

I loved it, it was Minnie Mouse without being in your face Minnie threw up everywhere. It was simple and adorable and MG thought it was fantastic. She was such a sweet girl and you could just tell how excited the little things like the minnie cupcakes and the balloons made her. She was totally in awe of Minnie being at her party and its so sweet to see a child genuinely excited about something so simple (unlike other vloggers children who can go to disney once a week and never crack a freaking smile)

Personal -
Watching the birthday vlog instantly reminded me of the parties my parents used to throw us as kids. Especially the year of Barney where three different people dressed up as that creepy dinosaur, including my mother!

Am I the only one secretly hoping Bryan and Missy treat them to a Disney trip? (If you don't know what I'm talking about, they treated Missy's family to a Disney surprise trip.) I just know MG would love it! Unless they are waiting until she's old enough, I really hope they take her one day.

I can see them going to Epcot and Disney world over Disneyland. It's closer. But I bet they will wait until Brooks is a little bigger. I would rather watch them at Epcot than see them at Disneyland with the Lumps.
It was so great to see how excited she was, and when she was opening presents how happy she was with each of them. Unlike a certain other vlogger child who is completely jaded at age 3.

I would hope that if the do, they go to Disney world. I don't think I could stand a whole vlog of Bryan saying "give macey Gaines a hug Ollie. Give your girlfriend a big kiss. Ahh look at baby girl. Hey Ollie, you want to share with your girlfriend?" That and Cullen and Katie not telling him to shut it or shutting down that type of talk irritate me.

I loved MGs birthday party. Goes to show that if your give your children what they want (toys) on a daily basis they end up appreciating their gifts and small gestures. Like how Cullen told her to hug and name the tissue paper she did hug it and was cute about it. They're lovely IMO

Cullen and Katie are just as much to blame because they didn't shut it down. They didn't have to say anything on the vlogs. They could have said something off camera, like "they're toddlers. Please stop saying that Gaines is Ollie's girlfriend". This boyfriend/girlfriend stuff has been going on since Vlogger Fair in Seattle, hasn't it?

How is the term "playdate" shipping toddlers? It's a commonly used term for when two kids meet up and play. There's no shipping in it whatsoever.

Being against toddler shipping isn't a superhuman trait. It's common decency to not sexulize a young child's relationship, and teach them that it's okay to have friends of the opposite gender. It teaches them that life doesn't revolve around relationships.

Oh lord thats Grandolly.... :/ I will say... and i'm not defending the "shipping" at all, but i do think its more acceptable (to me) that Dolly is talking about a family friend's child here and not freaking Ollie. IDK if that makes sense. I guess what i mean is saying something like "oh this will be cute for when they get married!" about a close friend's child is different to me then calling him her boyfriend and forcing them to hug and kiss and all that jazz. Who hasn't said things like that to friends who have children close in age like that? Its just different to me and i don't know why, maybe not different but less cringy.
