Yes, the intro from the last couple days is fan made. It says "made by so-and-so" at the end. You can usually tell fan made ones because they aren't as high quality, but I guess it's a little confusing because they usually have the same intro music Cullen uses.

I'm so glad to see they're going to seriously work on potty training Gaines this week. She's obviously showing signs she's ready.

Don't quote me on this but I think he always has the creator of the intro "sign" the intro at the end. Like in today's, at the very end of the intro you can see in the left hand lower corner "made by..." that's why I'm assuming it was fan made. I don't think he "signs" his own intros. I could be wrong though.

Cool, thanks. So yes, I take it back. But the fan that made it is silly then. Show the name reveal, the gender reveal if you want Cullen and Katie together. Not unboxing a phone, for crying out loud. Don't know why it bugs me so much. I guess like I said, when you put it with all those wonderful beautiful life altering moments, it's just out of place. And they're not braggers like some of their "friends".

I thought it was a little silly too, they went back and found cute, life changing moments and then the shots of C&K were those ones? I questioned that in my head. I'm sure out of all those vlogs they watched to grab that footage they could have found a cuter , more sentimental scene than the phone unboxing in snuggies. It seemed like they were just using footage from the past few days at first, but then it had all the older stuff in it too.. It was strange, you aren't the only one! lol

I haven't finished todays vlog but I just had to come over and squeal about how freaking precious MG is and how much smarter she gets everyday. I also really liked the way they edited the vlog, kind of made it that much more entertaining to watch.

The editing on today's vlog was amazing! I didn't think you could make a vlog on potty training interesting or funny. And oh my goodness MG is so smart and so adorable!

And I LOVE how they made a point about giving Gaines' old diapers to kids in need.
If you watch their "friends" (cough DB, E&J), they apparently live in a bubble with no homeless or even poor people. We made a point every year at Christmas of giving unused/outgrown toys to "kids whose moms and dads can't buy them nice toys". And tried to teach our kids the rest of the year how fortunate they were to live the way we do, and we didn't have anywhere near the money they do. So yay, C&K!

Ok-- I have to say one more thing about the phone. I know I am nitpicking. He put the unboxing in the intro, along with positive pregnancy tests, holding brand new babies and other life changing events. Really? It's a PHONE.
On the other hand, Brooks is an angel, and Gaines is just the cutest picking out big girl panties. My daughter and I laughed so hard, because I was saying "why are they buying that fancy wipe dispenser? It's so expensive!" And then two minutes later, he had traded it out for the less expensive one!

Actually, they often have viewers that make intros and send to them. Sometimes they'll feature them. This one looked like one of those. They're usually a little lower quality and mainly use screen shots from older vlogs. It didn't appear to be one that Cullen made. I'll go back and check when I have time. There will usually be some sort mark on the intro by whoever made it.

I know this is always an interesting topic of debate with other youtubers and I would love to know everyone's opinions. I personally loved the editing and interview portions of the vlog today. Yeah, I am a little bit uncomfortable with the showing her in her underwear. They also posted an IG. It was from the back, but it was still her in just her undies. They are usually so careful, I was surprised.

I don't want to see anyone's poop or pee in a video. They should keep that to themselves. A kid her age in her underwear isn't such a big deal. As she gets older, it could be a problem, but I don't thinks Katie or Cullen would be okay with that type of thing so it will never be a an issue for them. People like Austin Null and Daily Davidsons are disgusting. There are far too many up-skirt shots of Audri. The Davidsons left a full frontal nude shot of their 5 year old son in their vlog.

I think they did a good job of keeping things private. Im so glad they didnt film her on the toilet, like some other vloggers have. I bet these few days will be hard for them to get good vlog footage which is why i think they added the commentary!

I don't think them showing her in underwear is any different than a bathing suit or her in just a diaper. I think they did a great job showing the potty training appropriately. I'm so glad they didn't show her sitting on the toilet. And the one accident they showed on the ground with paper towels over it didn't bother me at all. It's a potty training vlog - what do you expect?

I thought the editing was fantastic! I laughed so hard when Katie said something about shoving the wedge "up your a**" and then Cullen finally got it and was genuinely laughing. Hilarious!!

I totally agree with everything everyone mentioned here. It sort of shocked me at first seeing Gaines in just her underwear just because it's not something they regularly do. I think everything was done tastefully though and I'm so happy they didn't show her on the potty. The commentary kind of reminds me of the newest season of American Horror Story, I have no idea if that's what motivated them or not but I loved it.

I don't think there shouldn't be shots like that at all. If they want to film themselves in their underwear, fine, but don't film a child who doesn't understand YouTube, the viewers, the risks, etc. I don't think it's fair to the child and I don't think there is a way it's "tastefully" done. Did someone check the tags for the video?

I also don't think there should be "potty training vlogs" either. They could've prerecorded content for these three days, or planned something to focus on rather than potty training. I think it would've been informative for Katie to make a video on her channel about how they potty trained with tips for parents who are or trying to potty train their kids.

Hmmmm I'm not even sure why I put tastefully there, definitely the wrong word and of course I can't erase it. I also tried to check the tags, but there isn't a way that I know of to do it on a Mac. Could someone else maybe check? I'm interested.
