I don't think Bryan appreciates shit. Maybe C&K will want to be friends when YouTube is over, but that's more because they're good people than because Bryan is a good friend. E&J sent flowers when Katie was in premature labor-- B&M didn't do anything.. Did Bryan and Missy send a birthday present to Gaines? Cullen sent that T rex costume for Ollie's party. They probably would have come out for it if Brooks hadn't just been born. I think Bryan figures that they give C&K views, and that is gift enough. I think it's just that Cullen likes hanging around Bryan-- the three of them (Jared, Cullen and Bryan) act like overgrown children together. And Katie is just too polite and well brought up to be rude to anyone.

I wholeheartedly believe that Cullen and Katie will match the donation and use the T shirt profits for Breast Cancer, unlike Brian and Missy with their "charities." This is something they wanted to do and are actually incorporating it into their lives (wearing pink and matching the donation), not just providing a link and pushing for donations from their viewers.

Bryan is a giant douche, but I wouldn't go so far as to say he hasn't been a good friend to Cullen. Bryan has helped Cullen become a better Youtuber. Go back and watch their videos before their friendship. Cullen had been doing Youtube for years and his videos didn't look much different from when he started. Even after Cullen started Youtube full time, the quality of their videos was crappy. You can literally see Bryan's influence on Cullen's videos. I'm not trying to give Bryan credit for all of Cullen's work, but good friends help either other. There's no doubt that Bryan has helped Cullen. It's entirely possible to be an asshole and be a good friend. Like it or not, Bryan and Cullen share common interests, so it's not surprising that they're friends.

And why is it okay to slam B&M for being materialistic, but then judge their friendship based on the gifts or lack of gifts they've given? C&K didn't really show off any of the gifts M&G got for her birthday unless they came from family. I'm sure they sent her something. Haven't we seen Bryan personally shop for MG in the past?

I think there must be things that happen between Cullen and Bryan we don't see, otherwise who would want to stay close to someone they rarely saw and was a douche.

In saying that, if there friendship is just a business relationship (which I'm not saying it is, just that if it was) Cullen is smart about it. He knows that if he peeved of D.B they would loose subs from the D.B minions subscribed to them, and from postin a public tweet like that he is getting their channel more exposure. And just to reiterate, I'm not saying that they don't have an actual friendship, but that if it is business Cullen is smart about it.

Yeah, a business-only friendship that viewers could easily identify as being insincere wouldn't be of much help to their channel. It would paint them in a really negative light, both in the YT content-creator community and among subscribers. I'm sure two college educated thirty-somethings understood from the outset that if they were going to pursue the friendship, it needed to appear sincere.

I still feel sorry for Katie on those vacays. Cullen can easact like a 12-yr-old with Bryan and Jared, but what can she possibly have to discuss with Miss and Ellie? Especially Ellie. Hate her if you will, but Missy is at least literate.

If DB and E&J are actual friends of Cullen and Katie's, not only will Bryan and Jared each order a shirt and wear it in their vlogs at least once, but also mention the donation link and post it in their description. And maybe even offer to match donations themselves (if not just make a donation on their own).

If DB sent Gaines a gift for her birthday, it would have been in the vlog because that's the kind of people CK are. They mentioned the onesie DB sent when Brooks was born (or shortly before he was born) so I don't see why they wouldn't mention a bday gift for Gaines.

I agree that by responding to Missy's tweet about voting for them it helps to expose CK vlogs to new viewers, but CK don't make the type of vlogs that DB does so DB's child viewers won't find them appealing. Not even enough to give the channel a sub and rarely come back. It's like one sided pats on the back. Like someone else said, I think Cullen likes fooling around like fools with Bryan and Jared and Katie just tolerates it because she was raised to not make a big stink about it.

The joint vacations don't really do a thing anymore in gaining CK views. This is how many subs were gained by each channel during the Summer vacay. For any of them, it didn't really seem worth it if it was actually done only for new subs. So for that, I do hope each person was getting more out of it than more subs/viewers/money.

And on a different topic, DB is about to hit 2 million subs (Bryan's head is going to explode), while CK are just over 454,000. Not that I think CK care how many they have, I just think they deserve the millions of subs instead of DB.

I still think Bryan buys subs and his kid followers create accounts to give him more subs when he is working toward his next milestone. I highly doubt CK ever have, but I think Bryan has and possible Jared.

They rarely tweet about their "friends", but Bryan is always sucking up to bigger YouTubers on Twitter. Did they tweet happy birthday to MG? I honestly don't know. And the shopping trip was for MG's first birthday. It's been a year.
And I totally think they deserve more subs than DB. Cullen actually uses his drone. I'm not assuming Bryan has taught Cullen anything. I think Cullen is smart and able to go look stuff up and learn how to make his videos better. His style is totally different from Bryan's.

considering they have both quit their jobs to do YouTube full time. It doesn't matter how well of their families are, this is their main income of course they care! They are nice people , yes but this is currently their livelihood too!

I think they care, but I don't think they care in the same sense that E&J or DB do. For those 2, it's like their sub count means everything, the only thing, as to what makes them a great vlog/channel. So yes, CK want the subs because it helps to increase their income, but it isn't so important to them that I think they would spend money to buy subs.

The difference with them is they don't sacrifice their integrity or their children in the same way other's do.

It's a tax write off, for sure. But it just means they go easier on you with taxes. I'm not a professional so it's hard for me to explain, but it's not like they'll get a huge portion of the donation back. It means they'll owe less on taxes, and if they (as self employed people) have paid well into their taxes they may get a tax return.
