Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
The three year old I used to nanny for was forever giggling, throwing her arms around my dogs, and kissing them. She'd get so excited when she saw our pit in particular, running around her, laughing, and calling her name.
Oliver does none of those things and it's a bit concerning. The thing is, even if he did get that excited and worked up, he wouldn't be encouraged to run around and play to work off that energy. Missy would ignore him in favor of her phone, and I get the feeling that Bryan barely looks or interacts with his kids when he's not showing off for the camera.
Maybe Oliver has come to them with excitement but they've continuously ignored it? The same with affection, because I've said before that it's strange to me that he shows no affection or real interest in Karma. Most kids stick to dogs like glue.

They showed the cat in Fin's birthday vlog. When they dressed him up in the dog costume at the start.duchessgummehbuns wrote:Soooo where's the cat?

It seems like Bryan and Missy just don't know what to do with their children, as if how they are, is not how they imaginings having kids and actually parenting them would be like.
Very strange to me, especially since they went through a lot (even if it was only over the course of a year) to get Ollie.

I find that Ollie gets somewhat excited when he sees dinosaurs but other than that the kid is totally jaded

Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
It's almost as if the things he does get excited about, they drown him in. "Ollie likes digging for dino eggs? Let's plant them all over the yard!" He does seem to like chasing the cat. And when Bryan was playing with him the other day, he was giggling and acting like a normal three year old. Maybe it is just his parents ignoring him. If that's it, it's very very sad.
The worst thing about Mimi and Papa always coming to the rescue, is that they won't always be around. They're doing everyone a disservice. Part of the job as a parent, possibly the hardest, is giving them the skills and freedom to make their own way and stand on their own. Yeah, it sucks when they don't "need" you anymore, but it's also really satisfying. And then the relationship is different, but still good. What are Bryan and Missy going to do when Mimi and Papa aren't around to change light bulbs, wrangle snakes, and handle children?

Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
There has been close to no talk about the new song in the past few vlogs.. Maybe Bryan realizes its a flop? I mean we never even heard him brag about it being on the charts at all like he did the last time. I think maybe the minions were all SUPER excited about the first album and they all rushed out and bought it, now that its on to album number two, i'm hoping they realize what trash his music is and don't want to spend their allowance on crap.

I hated the title of today's vlog. I have said it before on this forum, but I get people use clickbait, but don't do it regarding medical issues, especially when its a child.
Also, is Ollie's sleep schedule ok? He doesn't seem to have set naps anymore but I have seen him fall asleep in a fair few 'random' places recently. Its not like his days are that exhausting!

Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
That's the sad part. Maybe if his parents were more engaging with him, talked to him like he was a person (even if he is only 2 feet tall) instead of like he was something that does not even understand yes or no or has emotions, things might be different. It makes me sad and I just wish they were more engaging with him because at the end of the day, bryan and missy are grown and they don't care. But Ollie is growing. He needs to learn to socialize with people. Whether they are his age or older. And he doesn't necessary have to be in a classroom setting to socialize, even talking to the clerk at checkout counts, he will benefit greatly considering his parents don't help him.Cgl33 wrote:Ollie is still just 3 years old. Three year olds are selfish and egocentric. *No need to tell stories about how your three year old organized a fundraiser or joined The Peace Corps.* I do wonder how he will learn empathy when his parents seem to lack any. I thought Ollie was cute in the beginning. He seems so much more behaved on the vlog when Bryan isn't telling him what to say and do.

The new vlog...in the thumbnail, Ollie's arm has a pattern on it, like when you fall asleep or lean on something embellished or textured for too long. The vlog title is "TODDLER ARM DEFORMITY!"
Seriously? They hit a new low.

Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
The fact that it is SO hard for him to wake up and be alert after a nap concerns me. Maybe thats totally normal, but they could literally put that child on a roller coaster and he wouldn't wake up. Makes me wonder if its related to those absence seizures he has. (I do not think that hes not having them anymore, i think that Bryan has just gotten really observant with the vlogs and edits them all out.)Lurker4Life wrote:I hated the title of today's vlog. I havent even seen this title/thumbnail and im disgusted, what kind of sick fuck makes light of children with disabilities? I know its not Ollie, but what a distasteful, hurtful thing. They gross me out, get out of your fucking bubble B&M..tintin15 wrote:The new vlog...in the thumbnail, Ollie's arm has a pattern on it, like when you fall asleep or lean on something embellished or textured for too long. Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
Yeah, I don't have a three year old so I wasn't sure what they are like sleeping at this age, but he always is asleep in the car, on the couch, while they are out etc. The toddlers I know only seem to be that way when it is naptime, but Ollie seems to be sleeping at all different times of the day.Playsinrain wrote:The fact that it is SO hard for him to wake up and be alert after a nap concerns me. Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
I don't get how Ollie is always so extremely tired either!! He's always like that too! Since he was little! His body is so lifeless sometimes when they try to wake him up.
I'm pretty sure they let him fall asleep in the playroom watching tv all night, they've showed it before I'm sure it's an On going thing. Probably so they can do what they want at night and not worry about Ollie.

Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
I was coming on here to comment about how odd I though Ollie's sleeping was too. I can't get my niece unbuckled from the car seat before she wakes up.
Also, can we talk about how Bryan took all the lettuce out of that salad. I'm never one to judge eating habits, but that was so bad. First off, I consider a Caesar salad to be the picky eater salad. Not a lot to it beside cheese, dressing, and croutons. Then Bryan proceeds to take most of lettuce out. Like, that's what makes it a salad. I will admit that was a lot of lettuce in the bowl. I probably would have taken some out as well, but he took out over half of it.

Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
Oh wow!!! Poor missy never has time to do her makeup!!! Girl, if Bryan isn't home you have someone there with you at all times. I mean, is she serious??? When is this chick EVER alone with her kids??? That would be never. So for her to talk about how it's so difficult having 2 kids and doing her makeup is absolutely laughable!!!!
There they go spending more ridiculous amount of money...now for a Halloween party. Can anyone think of a vlog where they haven't purchased something? The amount of money these two have, for what they do, makes me sick to my stomach.

Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
Wow guys you all beat me to it but I was coming to say something about his sleep as well! At least a couple times a week we see him dead asleep while they are out and about, in his car seat, a shopping cart, or a restaurant booth. I have also noticed he seems to be awake pretty late in to the night. Idk when it gets dark in California but it's usually pitch black by the time he's in bed (was like that in the summer too) and we often see him still awake or passed out in the playroom with the tv flashing on him when Bryan is getting home late after a day in LA. Maybe because they let him stay up so late, he sleeps during the day? It wasn't that long ago that he was still taking two naps a day either... or maybe Missy only makes it a point to schedule her daily shopping and eating out trips around Finns morning nap but drags Ollie out everyday without a chance to have a nap himself. It happens so constantly, they definitely need to adjust something in his schedule or cut back on their daily excursions to target and Hobby Lobby.

Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
I just want to say that concerning Ollie's sleep. It could be possible that he is staying up too late at night and waking up too early and that they are dragging him along for shopping trips during his nap times. Diet also plays a factor and let's say they do let him nap but he still falls asleep in random places. If his diet is the absolute same his parents is and he is not being given vitamins or water, we will see a sluggish toddler. And that's what is more worrying I think, that his little body might be shutting down because he does not have the vitamins, minerals and nutrition it needs. So it's always "nap time" for him.

Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
Pretty sure that salad was for more than 1 person Bryan, that is why they gave 2 packets of croutons and dressings and why there was sooo much lettuce.
I actually felt bad for Ollie, he was clearly still tired and it seemed like they were trying to upset him more by making him look at his arms, he wasn't feeling it.
