Cullen and Katie are older and it's always been odd to me to see them hanging out with these younger couples who never really had a real career outside of YouTube. Not that they're old, by any stretch of the imagination, but they are better educated, and had real careers, not just jobs.
I would be interested to see Katie and Bonnie together.
But this is probably straying off topic.

How confusing, now Kelsey is saying that her doctor's office is in Portland, two hours away from where they're living currently. How will that work exactly?

Steps to Wander

Kelsey and Corbin put their van for sale on Ebay. It's a 1984 van with over 100000 miles on it and so far there are 3 bids that have pulled the price to 8,299. With all the issues they've had with it, does anyone else think that this amount is way overpriced?

I thought the van was overpriced, hopefully they don't lie or hide the issues they had with the van.
I wonder if it's someone who watches their videos? then at least they would be aware of the issues.

I was surprised to see it priced that high, I certainly wouldn't pay that much, if I was in the market for an old van.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a viewer who bid high for the van. Some people would do anything to own something that belonged to a celebrity, in this case, a small YouTube celeb.

I dont know anyone who would pay more than $2000 for that van! (And thats being generous) They had a good bit of trouble with it while on the road too.

Good for them if they can scam people for that piece of junk. After watching them doing such a terrible job in "renovating" the van, there is no way I would live in it even for free. They will probably make a nice profit that paid for all the gas money they spent on the trip and more. They need to get as much as they can while they can to provide for the new baby.

I'm assuming the majority of their followers are kids, like the Daily Bumps audience. I wonder if people are biding on the van with no intention of actually being able to pay? I wouldn't be surprised if they end up having to file an unpaid item dispute with eBay. All eBay would be able to do is ding the person's account and refund the seller for the fee they paid to list the item. There's no guarantee that the winning bid is a serious buyer, but I'm not an expert on van appraisals. It seems way overpriced to me.

I don't think any serious travelers/campers would bid on the Wander Wagon after seeing how many problems it had on the road in their vlogs. No matter who wins it, it will probably end up sitting in someone's driveway or getting junked anyway.

I have to admire them for their message in their vlog on the election instead of trying to be too vanilla. I think it is so important to tell people who have been told they don't matter that they do matter, that they are important, and that their voices are heard. :love2:

Wow, these two individuals are really something. They first proclaimed they conquered the world after they drove around the first world countries in a loop. They then try to make a profit by passing along a problematic campervan to their worshiper. Now, they think they are the authority of world peace by stating that LOVE is the solution because they had traveled. They sure are self-centered, narcissistic whippersnappers.

Worst of all, their videos really have no content.

I'm not their biggest fan, but I thought their message was nice and simple. It didn't mock anyone's choice, and it was well stated. It was a nice contrast to everything else on the Internet today.

I loved the message yesterday and it made me cry. It wasn't calling anyone out, it wasn't filled with hate or blame. It just drove home what we all need to do right now, stand up for those who are in danger and just love each other.
I don't think they were stating love was the answer bc they have traveled, i think it was more about telling people to get out of their bubble, check their privilege and realize there are people out there that need us now more than ever. I didn't see it as self centered at all, totally the opposite, they were talking about standing up for others.. nothing self centered about that. Traveling does open your eyes and i respect their message.

On the one hand I can appreciate the fact that they actually addressed the election rather than being a-political like other family vloggers. Not that I think it's anyone's business to ask who someone voted for, but these people are sharing their views and their lives seven days a week but there are certain topics they won't touch because they don't want to alienate anyone. It's very disingenuous.

On the other hand, I do agree that they have an inflated sense of self importance, including the fact that they lived on the road for 6 months. I get that it was a goal of there's, but it was kind of a mess and not very well planned or executed. And it's still just so crazy to me that they decided to start a family before they had the proper health insurance, steady jobs, or a place of their own to live. Such a mess.

Oops, *theirs

And is there anything worse than vloggers rubber necking an accident that has nothing to do with them and filming it for clicks? Yes, there are worse things, but it's pretty annoying.

I did too. Their message was compassionate. I liked how they listed all of the marginalized groups and said they give them their love and will fight for them. It gave me so much respect for them honestly.

Corbin read a letter on camera in today's vlog from a man whose wife died of cancer before they could do their cross country trip and Kelsey's response was, "Aw, thanks Steve, what a nice story."

SERIOUSLY? There's two are either incredibly tone-deaf, or just assholes. If a widower told me about losing his wife to cancer, my response would not be "what a nice story." I don't really care what kind of message they put out there post-election, they're still immature and narcissistic.

Yeah, I was kind of hoping there was more to the letter that they edited out because it was too personal that would merit that kind of comment.

Their clothes haul was cute. I laughed when Kelsey was saying how many clothes they bought when it didn't seem like that many at all, especially if you compare their haul to someone like Britney's.
