Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7

Sorry for the double post but just looked up the hotel in Seattle too, and whoever suggested it from the conference side must be nuts. It's a hipster hotel that seems to pride itself on its small rooms/European feel. It is not family friendly. It's not even particularly close to the two venues for the actual events. They have a king suite but I'm sure not many so they were probably taken by others.

Since Cullen said they were booked for them, I wonder how much say they had in it? Could they have stayed somewhere else? It's apparent from photos online just how small the rooms are.

I image the convenience with being close to where VloggerFair is being held might be why they chose them, but whoever book these rooms for YouTube families will be hearing about this dissatisfaction which is warranted. No, not a world problem, but an avoidable one in the future.

In Cullen's pic on twitter, I got the impression that Gaines has taken a liking to Peyton and has found someone to play with in Seattle. That sorta makes me glad the Johnson's came, whilst Ollie and Jackson are there, I think from previous vlogs they can overwhelm Gaines, so its nice she has a friend

It was cute, but she was chasing Peyton around and pulling her hair. She wasn't meaning to pull it, really-- I think she just thought it was pretty and wanted to touch it. But Cullen was too busy trying to catch the cute moment to say "hey, maybe Peyton doesn't want you touching her hair"

My original post was before the vlog but with the vlog I thought that could have turned "bad" quickly but Payton (to me) seemed to not particularly mind. She had a smile, and I feel like if it had been bugging her she would have acted different. I think Peyton looked a little put off by Gaines following her and wanting to hug her but I didn't think that escalated with the hair.

At the end of Sunday's vlog they are in their room with E & J. Katie is laughing so hard. Was it because of what Ellie said or had she and Cullen been drinking wine. You can see a bottle in the background.

If anyone really needs a C&K fix but don't wanna watch the Lumps in it, check out LiveEachDay or DudeLikeHella's channel (same channel but they just changed names so idk which is easier to find it). They aren't in the vlog for ages but theres a bit.

I chuckled a little at Katie's comment, in the hotel room with Cullen, Ellie and Jared, while Gaines spent the night in Grandberry's room.

She had junk food that didn't need to be hidden from anyone... Except for Ellie. I definitely think she'd had a few drinks in her at that point. God knows I would, to spend the evening hanging out with E+J.

I couldn't tell for sure if Ellie actually cooled down (like colder than usual) at that point, or if I just imagined it.

I love how honest they are with their viewers. They don't try to paint their kids as beyond perfect for YouTube like other vloggers. I think a lot of parents can relate when traveling with kids, it either be a bad or a joyous experience. They were open and honest about Gaines' behavior on the plane ride home. Let's face it, kids her age are usually never good on long flights + layovers. They're tired, bored, cranky, etc.

And Katie and Cullen really showed that aspect of parenthood in their vlogs, especially dealing with a toddler.

Plus, Katie lost her purse and they seemed so calm (but obviously worried) but they seemed level headed and very thankful to everyone who helped her locate her purse.

Also my husband used to wear his sunglasses on his forehead so I'm used to it. Seems to be common down here in the South. I wear sunglasses on the plane. Usually if I have a window seat or just so I won't be bothered while sleeping. It's not that unusual. Also my husband used to wear his sunglasses on his forehead so I'm used to it. Seems to be common down here in the South. Don't want to mess up your hair before church or an event (especially when you're a vlogger.)

LOL, thanks. I don't know why it bugs me so much. Just one of those things! I think it got started when my daughter was watching Dog the Bounty Hunter. He wears his sunglasses like that 24/7, and it just looked so stupid when he was chasing people at night with his sunglasses on his forehead. So I just see it on Cullen and twitch. People don't seem to do it that much in Southern California. And I'm sorry, if you're dealing with a toddler in a meltdown, take 'em off put them in a case and pass them to the wife. They're gonna fall off. I get why you say you wear them on a plane, but he was traveling with his wife, an infant, and an unhappy toddler. He wasn't going to be sleeping. Like I said, I totally know I am nitpicking.
