See that's why I don't feel all that bad for Nia. Like I get the stigma to leave your spouse as a Christian and I know it would be really difficult. But he is clearly unstable and a danger to all of them. If she wants to guarantee the safety of her kids, she needs to get out and she is choosing not to. And I don't really think she is being abused because I understand that is a totally different dynamic to consider when leaving. I think she isn't leaving because of the stigma and the fact its a "sin".JLPC wrote:I can't believe that Nia just laughs about his clearly psychotic behavior. I cringed all the way through this vlog. Re: Sam & Nia: Do It For the Views
Yup, agreed. There's more than one way to abuse/neglect your children and by her choosing to stay (using her religious beliefs to facilitate her decision) she's as guilty as him, by proxy/default. A mothers first instinct should always be to protect her children but Nia is putting her Christian image before her children's safety. Oh, the irony, especially given their intro/outro.literallywhat wrote:See that's why I don't feel all that bad for Nia. Re: Sam & Nia: Do It For the Views
Nia vlogging her family and there is Sam in the back pushing Abraham's head down, acting like it's no big deal. Nia kept saying how it was because of Sam she was able to enjoy her day. I have a feeling she is reading all the negative comments about him and giving him "unnecessary" publicity like he deserves it or something. Sam said he was thankful that he gets to stay home everyday with his family, and Nia said it was because of the viewers he can do that so thank you. He's such a douchebag like he doesn't even acknowledge his so called Fan Basic that made him so much money, what an ungrateful freakshow!
Re: Sam & Nia: Do It For the Views
I may get hate for this but if she really believes it's a sin to leave her husband than it's more than just a stigma. I'm not here to say it's wrong to divorce but if you have it ingrained in you that it's a sin, that could possibly send you to hell, it's not just about wanting to save your image.
I think Sam's erratic behavior needs to be checked out, but I don't necessarily think it means she should leave him. It's sad that if I were her I'd feel nervous leaving my kids with my husband but that in itself to many Christians isn't cause for divorce. You can disagree with that belief but know if you believe something to your core it has power over you.
Obviously different sects of Christianity have different approaches to divorce, some are more "liberal" as you say and others (like how I was raised) is very "conservative". I have a feeling that they fall into the latter, which being raised that way I do understand where they are coming from. Not that my feelings are exactly the same but I still understand.
I'm not trying to start a religious debate I just want to prove the point that it's not as simple as saying she wants to protect her image.
Part of me thinks Sam only puts on an act for the camera and that in reality he wouldn't really risk danger to his kids, however part of me worries that this need for viral videos, admiration, and money means that him and his family are at risk for something bad happening. I don't wish it and I really hope that it's just an act and he'd never take anything too far, but it is scary that it's even possible that he could.

Re: Sam & Nia: Do It For the Views
I don't think that they believe that divorce sends you to "hell". They go to a non-denominational born again Christian church. Sam's brother has been divorced and so has his mother. Nia's vlog posts on Nia's Nest regarding Sam's infidelity indicate that divorce is sometimes called for.

Symphony finally got some bonding time with her dad for once...did you see her eyes light up when he asked her to read comment of the day? It's so sad and pathetic that he doesn't do more with her! This is just me nitpicking but I would never have her hold that hot cocoa mug on the white couch! I mean yes she would get hurt ofcourse if she spilled it, but that couch would be a disaster to clean!

Re: Sam & Nia: Do It For the Views
I am Christian too and I understand her feelings. I think divorce is a sin when people use it as an escape route when things are hard. But I think when the integrity of your marriage has been broken (infidelity) and the children are actually at risk, then it is absolutely okay to leave that marriage. I don't think Sam in malicious and would intentionally hurt his children but I think he is unstable (like could be diagnosed with something) and obsessed with fame and youtube so much so that it takes priority over the well being of his kids. I'm not saying it would be easy for Nia to leave him but one of her kids is going to end up hurt and its just a matter of time and at a certain point she has to prioritize their safety over everything else.tmarieme wrote:I may get hate for this but if she really believes it's a sin to leave her husband than it's more than just a stigma. Re: Sam & Nia: Do It For the Views
Yeah I mean there are times Sam's behavior actually frightens me. It's more than manic. I know we have to very careful talking about diagnosing people on here but I hope it's okay to say I really think he needs to seek some help.I think a lot of his erratic behavior is just over the top but I don't think it's actually out of the norm, for instance a lot of men are rough with their kids during play time, other times it's downright dangerous and I don't know how I'd react if I saw it.
I was watching the video from their Thanskgiving and my heart went out to Nia. After cleaning up her son after he pooped his bed he then threw up sounding like it was on her, she then gave him a bath all while Sam just filmed? Then she made the food, served the food, all while Sam worked on his latest viral attempt. I love Christmas lights but one tree, that's all this is right one tree? Maybe it will blow me away but idk he's spending an obsessive amount of time on one tree.

Re: Sam & Nia: Do It For the Views
Anyway, Sam was doing his stupid light project...Nia took the kids with her to Target and let Symphony and Abraham go alone to get food? She was a little close but I don't know if that's particularly safe to do. Also, why didn't Sam just take a break from his dumb project for an hour so Nia could run her errands in peace?
Nia wanted to do a fun girls night so why was Sam sitting there with them? I find things like that super weird....I'm sure her friends were annoyed as well!

That dog was licking INSIDE that 6 month old baby's mouth. How can they stand idly by and:brownprincess93 wrote:Okay...so here the is the thing...I'm not a fan of dogs so please don't take this comment super personal...but I think it's absolutely gross when a dog licks anybody's face....especially a little baby!! Sorry...that's just nasty!!

1) Watch it
2) Film it
3) Edit it and think ''Yup, that looks fine'' &
4) Upload that scene.
And yes, Nia stuck in the house all morning taking care of 3 kids and STILL has to take them to the store with her while Jack Ass is up a tree playing Griswold.
And hell, that would have really p**sed me off him being there in the room on girls night. What the hell is his problem?

Yup! I can't believe Nia was onboard with the dog licking the baby like that. She dislikes dogs and never has anything to do with Oreo.Scar2016 wrote:That dog was licking INSIDE that 6 month old baby's mouth. To me it felt like another one of Sam's "In Your Face" moves. FanBasic is always asking to see more of Oreo...so here ya go, kids. How'd you like that one?

Re: Sam & Nia: Do It For the Views
Ok, I will go with the idea that an outdoor dog licking a babies face might be gross, but we let our dog lick our babies' faces when they were little. Their godmother who also wasn't a dog person was very grossed out. The myth about their mouths being cleaner is a myth, but the bacteria are species specific, so you're more likely to get sick from a person kissing you than a dog. (We researched it to set our daughter's godmother's mind at ease, lol)

I have 4 dogs and do not allow them to lick me or my children, it is absolutely disgusting. They drink from toilets and lick their butts and genitals and who knows what else when they go outside.lmmomSD wrote:Ok, I will go with the idea that an outdoor dog licking a babies face might be gross, but we let our dog lick our babies' faces when they were little. Re: Sam & Nia: Do It For the Views
I'm glad that Nia said that Sam was being "evicted" from the room hahahaha Sandy probably didn't want to be a part of the weird vlogging process where they film them while they watch the show...not to mention she knows Sam is super annoying so why would anyone want to be there?
Re: Sam & Nia: Do It For the Views
I think Sam looked pissed off that Nia said "not every branch is lit" and she quickly tried to overcompensate for it by being too over the top.

Re: Sam & Nia: Do It For the Views
Alright l have observed the same craziness with their vlogs and with Sam as everyone has for a long time. It's been like a car crash you can see coming for years.....after today's vlog l am convinced SAM IS LOOSING HIS * * * * ! ! ! Not to make light of it, but my Mother is bipolar and I grew up with her struggling with her mental illness my whole life. She was hospitalized due to total breakdowns 3x since my birth. Sam has the same glazed over hyper focused look she gets when she's in her hyper manic phase. He seems unware of reality around him besides that tree he's fixated on. At the end he's sitting on the couch glazed over starring off like he's mentally not even present. Nia says "recovering" or something to that effect. You think she sees it at all with him? He did the same with the pool all Summer. He needs intervention....those kids are not growing up in a stable normal daily environment. ;-(

Re: Sam & Nia: Do It For the Views
I totally agree with this. I too have a family member who is (was) the female version of Sam. She finally had a total breakdown when her kids were 7 and 11. It was horrific. My brother, towards the end, had been hiding it from the family. She had been endangering the children for several months. One Christmas Eve he confessed it to us. She took off, leaving her kids and life behind. It took years for her to seek treatment for bi-polar and cocaine abuse. Nia may be in denial. I hope Nia or Sam's brothers or maybe someone from the church will do an intervention, and soon.jaynshann wrote:Alright l have observed the same craziness with their vlogs and with Sam as everyone has for a long time. Abarham had a dirty face throughout the entire vlog...why didn't they clean it?
They were singing towards the end....I'm sure they do that to keep the kids calm and relaxed but honestly they really should get Sam the help he needs so that their whole life can be like that!

Re: Sam & Nia: Do It For the Views
I've wondered for a while if Nia's preggo again, especially given Sam saying on his 30th birthday vlog about him having another baby in his 30th year (aka 2017). And also the fact they're careful lately to not film her stomach area and if they do they skim past it real quick. Like in their newest vlog 'A DENTAL NIGHTMARE!' @ 2:11 mins, the gathered up and stretched shirt...?
