But when you're a vlogger and something happens you always have the back up silver lining of vlog material. HE FELL ON THE FLOOR!MommaLindsey2 wrote:I don't think his head size is anything to be concerned about, both my boys are in the 99th% for head circumference and they are perfectly healthy.
Also WTF is up with vloggers not buckling kids into their swings and baby equipment??? I've noticed Sam and Nia, C&K, and the Nulls with their babies in a swing not buckled in. It seems very odd to me, Brooks is starting to roll he could roll out and fall straight onto his head. I was so worried my babies would fall out even when they were newborns that couldn't roll at all yet I still buckled them into their swing. There was one occasion when my youngest was 3 months (brooks age correct?) in a sort of emergency where I had to tend to my older son I put him in the swing for a second without buckling him and he flipped right out of it onto the floor. I felt horrible!

And you can play the clip over and over again for months to come.

And for the record, I'm not saying K&C are intentionally risking their child for vlog footage, but I can't help but wonder if incidents are viewed differently when they happen because there is a bright side. Ellie majorly lost Jackson yesterday, and it felt like just good vlog material. Same with Ollie falling in the fountain. These are moments that most of us would absolutely feel like failures about. Most vloggers just don't appear to have that same reaction about it.

I was about to come here and say the same thing. I just watched Katie's newest video on her channel and his head looks weird. If the pediatrician is concerned, though, they'll put him in a corrective "helmet" to fix it I guess. Idk how all that works to be honest.lexlex11 wrote:I want to preface this by saying I think Brooks is one of the cutest babies ever. I've just noticed that his head looks rather large. Is his head a normal size for babies his age?

Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
Sorta personal.... I meant to say this the other day, but i appreciate C&K talking about the fires in the Gatlinburg area. Our family owns property in downtown, and thank god we didn't have any damage, and i grew up visiting the area, we still travel there 3-4 times a year. We honeymooned there, had our kids birthday's there, Christmas, Halloween... you name it we have been there for it. My heart breaks for everyone who lost homes, and family members in this horrific fire. We have been watching the news about it 24/7 and my heart is just aching. My mother and i are touching base with locals so we can get up there and volunteer and get our hands dirty and help people. If you are so compelled, please donate to the Red Cross or to the fund that Dolly Parton has set up, they need it at this time.
(Also, this is why i have been on edge here this week and i apologize for being so up in arms about the grocery delivery business.. My nerves are on edge and I shouldn't have let that spill onto here.. sorry guys..)

Brooks is an adorable baby, big head and all. (I'm biased because my boys have off the charts heads as well)
To me he is cuter than mg was as a baby. (Don't hate me for that)

I just have to say how hilarious I think it is that they keep finding a way to have her say "sparkling." I don't know how they keep a relatively straight face, & don't keel over in hysterics when she says it!! I about laugh til I cry whenever they do it/she says it! (I'm awful, I know, lol)

Brooks is 4 and a half months old, he was born on 17th July so will be 5 months in a couple of weeks and as such should definitely be strapped in to all of his baby equipment.MommaLindsey2 wrote:I don't think his head size is anything to be concerned about, both my boys are in the 99th% for head circumference and they are perfectly healthy.

Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
I gotta say-- it's refreshing to see _someone_ mention that Christmas is Jesus's birthday. It makes me so annoyed that Bryan and Missy call themselves "Christian vloggers" but never ever mention Jesus at Christmas. They don't have to proselytize, or ho crazy with it, but I am willing to bet Ollie has never heard what Christmas is about except for lots more toys.

Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
I know someone mentioned yesterday how they put Cullen and Katie Vlogs in the title. Well they didn't do that today, but they put like 3 vlog titles in one. I'm not sure what they're trying to do, but it seems so middle school.

Bryan did mention that Jesus loves you even when your bad the other day after they had Ollie say he loves Jesus.lmmomSD wrote:I gotta say-- it's refreshing to see _someone_ mention that Christmas is Jesus's birthday. I wonder if its an attempt to hit some new youtube algorithm. So their vlog shows up more on suggested videos or something.Baconsgirl wrote:it sure was a busy title wasn't it?Enchantedbybeautyy wrote:I know someone mentioned yesterday how they put Cullen and Katie Vlogs in the title. I'll bet it's only because C&K have mentioned a couple of times that it's Jesus's birthday. I have never heard them mention Jesus before! Not even when doing the Water of Life fundraiser.Ducklings4 wrote:Bryan did mention that Jesus loves you even when your bad the other day after they had Ollie say he loves Jesus.lmmomSD wrote:I gotta say-- it's refreshing to see _someone_ mention that Christmas is Jesus's birthday. Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
Sorry, I know I'm late. I recall Katie saying it was really difficult getting all their paperwork together when they were buying the home they now inhabit. I interpreted that to mean paperwork for qualifying for a mortgage. Besides, why would one pay cash for a home when there are tax advantages associated with having a mortgage? As to whom would leave Katie a trust, I do believe her grandparents are deceased since we never hear of them. Additionally, some parents start trust funds for their children when they are born, ie The United Gift To Minors Act allows money to be set aside and tax is deferred. I always had the impression that Katie has a trust fund, or perhaps a few, that would allow her a certain lifestyle. I'd not be surprised to learn that Cullen had been left some money as well.tratra58 wrote:We really know nothing about their finances other than they are doing less than other YouTube families with a more subscribers/views. Off Topic: I believe Cullen and Katie were vlogging daily for about 2-3 years while they worked full time and they had a decent amount of subscribers, certainly under 50k. But after Cullen lost his job in a corporate takeover, Katie allowed him to follow his dream of vlogging full time. She reasoned that he supported her dream to become a doctor. During that year I believe they got to 100k. He was highly ambitious, and fortunately he calmed down once their channel took off and became a success. Katie stated that she always intended to take time off when her children were little. They both said they were planning on moving to a larger home in 5 years time. Cullen does have a college degree and as long as Katie maintains her license, I think they'll be fine financially. I don't believe B&M or E&J will be able to maintain the same lifestyle if their youtube careers go tits up.

I thought todays vlog had to be great fun with the slime. Cullen is like a kid himself sometimes and what a creative fun for his nieces and nephew as well as brother and sister-in-law. How thoughtful of him to think of his mom to bring her a tree each year.
I think their channel is a small success and they even mentioned one time they've appreciated the slow growth in comparison to others I believe with the meaning they've worked harder than others. B+M and E+J have to be making a significant more in YouTube with both greater views/subscribers than Cullen and I can't tell you why since he puts a lot of effort to making his vlogs entertaining. I agree with you that both Katie and Cullen have a better fall back plan if Youtube doesn't continue to provide an income in comparison to the other two families. I think Katie has a doctorate in Psychology or is it a Masters. I don't think we address her as doctor or her dream was to be a doctor since it is is associated with a M.D. or D.O. or in her field Psychiatrist who has a longer education, prescribing rights and more treatment options.
