From what I remember, Dan really hadn't dated much before Elle. Dan is really handsome and is quite the catch, regardless of being a little self centred (the constant flexing lol). Not saying he was settling but j think they were both getting a bit older and the pressure was on.

In a vlog long ago they visit Dan's swim team coach and he tells Elle how he was so focused on swimming and studying he never saw him go on dates or something like that.

Sadly, it almost seems like Elle she just used Dan for his money. They met online and she was living in a crappy rental apartment and working as a hairstylist (I believe?) So she hooks up with Dan who was working as a vet, living at home, and saving lots of money. He bought them a large expensive house in Markham and it doesn't seem like she has worked a day since (other than Youtube *eyeroll*) Im not even sure why they need to live in Markham and he has to commute north to work when she doesn't work...
The singing in the vlogs has gotten out of control. I only watch about once a week now because they are so boring. Their view count is so low they can't be pulling in any good amount of money from their videos I wouldn't think.

The commute from Markham to uxbridge is only about 30 mins without traffic. Uxbridge is a really cute place, affluent community. Maybe it's just not city enough for her.

I believe he was already a vet when they met but maybe he wasn't working in Uxbridge at the time which could make sense as to why they didn't move there.
Im sure it was not ALL money driven just seems like it has been convenient for her. She lucked out.

So they didn't buy anything for their kids for Christmas. I respect people who set limits for Christmas. They claim to be minimalistic but their living room is overflowing with toys. Id feel cheap if I was living comfortably and my kids Christmas toys were given to me. They talked about how they want their kids to appreciate what they have. Maybe they could have donated the toys given to them and then buy their kids presents.

I'm sure they bought toys for the "Santa" gifts. This video showing toys they had sent to them was just a sponsored video. I do find it ironic that they claim to be minimalistic and are only getting their boys four toys (supposedly) while also giving away material/unnecessary gifts to their viewers. And making money on sponsored videos in which they give away free things they got from companies.

I think it's silly that they're only getting their boys sponsored toys and maybe 1 other gift each. While the boys aren't old enough really to understand it's fine. Obviously I understand what their trying to teach them but I dunno. My parents taught me the same values, we never really got many things for birthdays and almost never got toys randomly when we went to the store, but Christmas was kind of a reward for being good kids and showing our gratefulness throughout the year. Hard to explain.
While the video itself isn't sponsored, the gifts were sent to them for free which is weird. I haven't watched any of their giving videos, and I don't participate in their spot the Santa b.s either

They said Santa was only getting them 1 gift. So they bought their child 1 toy each unless Santa was sponsored too.

Not sure why someone would go from being a math teacher (with a pension, benefits, paid holiday etc...) to a hairstylist which is why I do not believe her whatsoever. I do recall her saying that in a video last year.

As for how many ppl show up to their meet up I'm going to guess 7 lol

What are everyones thoughts on Elle's new fitness & meal plans? Seems kind of funny that a "Tone It Up" follower with no education or background in fitness and nutrition would think they are qualified to charge people for a program. Im sure the TIU founders Karena & Katrina won't be happy.

At some points her voice sounded OK but then at others it was very bad! She needs to find a song that really fits her but this was not it. And the video quality and angels and all the were very amateur feeling. I was hoping it would have been way better with the hype they made. I'm really scared for all her new ideas she keeps mentioning for the vlog. She is so fame hungry its really turning me off and wanting to unsubscribe
