I think given the amount B&M spend, it's safe to say they aren't saving for the future. Jenna Marbles is a much bigger YTer than Bryan and Missy are, and she doesn't throw her money around near as much as they do.

They really do remind me of lottery winners in how all Missy's family members and friends appear to have their hands out expecting a cut of the profits. If Bryan and Missy's income declines even a little bit, it won't just be their lifestyle affected, but everyone around them. The amount they would need to be saving to sustain this lifestyle long-term just isn't possible with even the high Social Blade estimates, and the amount we see them spend.

They definitely spend as if they've experienced a windfall. Bryan said that they didn't know that they had to start saving for retirement until this year! What have they been doing with their money? I have a feeling that their spending and earning ratio is similar to before their channel got big.

I will give them props for that. They may not thank their viewers, but I think they know where they came from, seeing as there are some vloggers who go from daily vlogging to MAYBE once a week, without even apologizing.

Then again, it could also be for the money. Also, they would be soooo bored if they didn't vlog every day.

It's very self serving for them to vlog everyday. They get money lol. I don't know, I'm not impressed when family vloggers vlog 7 days a week. They never give their kids a break and it's all to make more money. It's not like they are doing it for the fans. They are not coming up with interesting content. With the exception of a few vlogs a year, Bryan's editing is super lazy. And he has help.

Plus yesterday's was mostly snapchat footage, and today's was 4 mins of footage during the day, and 10 mins of hatchimal

That's why I mentioned it might be for money. I'm just impressed, because they're SO busy, I'm genuinely surprised there hasn't been a video of them explaining how they need a break. Money and fame wins all, I suppose.

I find it hilarious that they actually didn't even have to tell the viewers that Ollie was eating frozen pancakes but they still did! Also...can they shove Finn more into the corner than he already is? Before you know it that highchair will be outside and he will be seen through the window!

Missy just keeps picking activities to do with Ollie and leaving Finn at home...it's so sad....like they went to see a kids movie and I know he's a toddler but she should have tried to do something that both the boys would enjoy! I skipped through Bryan talking...just the sound of his voice is so annoying and he always has to try to act like he knows everything!

I had an epiphany on the toilet today about the Bumps (probably an appropriate place) and my relationship with them. I think we all have had similar stories.

Started off thinking they were cool and enjoyed watching them --> realise they were idiots and my hate grew, searched for a gossip forum to express my anger and find like-minded souls --> enjoyed their stupidity and annoying-ness, using it to make myself feel better about my life --> disgust and hate grew to the point where I could no longer hate watch....

Now ...kinda hoping I'll be around to see the impact of the trainwreck this year

What a surprise, the vlog is late again. Wouldn't it be nice if vloggers had to say in their YT account when their vlogs would be uploaded and how frequently (obvs some dont upload every day) and then the amount of money they are paid relates to whether their on time or not. Once in a blue moon is understandable - but this is their 'job' and the DB have been late more often than not in the last couple of weeks.

I work full time. I work from 8 - 4 every day, 20 miles away from where i live. The only time i have ever been late in 2 years is when i was stuck in particularly bad traffic. Normally, i arrive at the office at 7.35 (that bad day i arrived at 8.30). If i can manage to be on time/early every day, surely people who dont have to get up and drive 20 miles to get to work can also be on time?

Let's break down everything wrong with the latest vlog:
1: A "trapped" vlog, seriously?!
2: I was cringing waiting for Ollie to fall out of the fridge and for Finn to fall off of that merry go round.
3: Bryan just laughs at the fact that his child has climbed into their fridge and didn't even BOTHER to hold on to him so he wouldn't topple out.
4: No discipline for these kids, it's absurd.
5: McDonald's for dinner...because it's easy. Of course it is, Missy you hypocrite of gigantic proportions!
6: Dropping a few thousand on kitchen appliances because you're nitpicky and you CAN. I cried when our fridge died last year because $1000 is a LOT of money for most people. But NO, your milk has to be the RIGHT temperature or your damned fridge is "broken".

Another late vlog. I agree they should be held accountable to some degree. This is their job. It's only common courtesy to mention that it's going to be late. After all isn't this how they make their $$$. Plenty of other vloggers got their vlogs up on time. Once again Bryan thinks he's so much better than everyone else.

Ollie in the refrigerator was a set up. There was no way he could have climbed up there without a chair. There wasn't one around. What a stupid thing.

No bryan your refrigerator isn't broken, it's you leaving the doors open all the time that warms ups the milk. Your food spoils because you don't use it, you eat out all the time. 3 pizza boxes should tell you something.

Missy always has a sink full of dishes so how would she even know if the dishwasher works. Isn't that a new one too?

Why not stop buying your golden kid so many toys and teach him to clean up? Now Ollie has two rooms that are full of toys. That's just ridiculous

ImmomSD called it! It's a Sub-Zero refrigerator! Thank goodness Bryan is here to teach us that they don't make refrigerators the way they used to, and that milk can't get to that ice cold temperature unless you buy a fridge for thousands of dollars! I've been just turning down the temp in my fridge to get things colder! I'm an idiot!

So which is it, Bryan? Is the refrigerator in the garage broken or the refrigerator in the kitchen? It's hard to keep up with your lies, isn't it? Maybe your food would stay at consistent temperatures if you taught Ollie not to climb in the fridge! I'm willing to bet that they often find the refrigerator doors wide open! A new refrigerator won't resolve that. Keeping an eye on your kids will!
