Kyra needs to shower on a more regular basis--she just got lice. i know people who shower a lot get lice as well (but only when they come into contact with someone who has lice). It appalls me that she hasnt washed her hair with proper shampoo made to get rid of lice! She needs to do that or they wont ever go away. and she needs to wash clothes, bedsheets, etc or O and Levi will get it next.

First of all, I'm pretty sure she was joking about the lice. Oscar went on to show her rash, which you do not get RASHES from lice. ALSO, louse like clean heads more than dirty heads! (Easier to get to the scalp to bite). From a family of 5 kids, trust me on this one.

Weird, isn't it? My daughter is a deep sleeper yet I still creep around when I'm upstairs for fear of waking her up and having to deal with getting her back to sleep. Levi isn't the greatest of sleepers and they decide that night time, whilst he's sleeping in the closet, is the perfect time to start slamming, banging and drilling furniture. I bet their neighbours just love them.

If they were first time expectant parents with zero responsibility then their staying up until dawn wouldn't matter, but they have Levi. He's going to wake up to two parents who are exhausted and don't have the energy for him because they can't prioritise anything properly.

I was thinking the same thing. And the wall didn't even look good, they weren't spaced out evenly and there was a huge gap.

Sorry but black triangles for the nursery?? That's not cute :-/

And to spend ALL night putting those cribs together?? Baby won't even be in that crib for a while because she'll be in there room. None of that makes sense. But to be up ALL night to put together something she won't need for a while??? And to get Levi a new crib??? They basically wasted a night putting together a crib Levi doesnt need and a crib the baby won't even be in for months and months. I'm so SO confused. You can't have two kids in the same room unless they're BOTH sleeping through the night. Or it won't work. Do they know that?

They could've put Levi's new crib together while he napped, then put the other crib together a different day while he napped. Not be up all night. How are they supposed to take care of Levi all day?? Their inability to plan, prioritize or think about anything seriously boggles my mind.

Omg.... these two.... I cannot see them with two kids under 18 months. Seriously I can't.

Sooo... were they planning on leaving Levi when he wakes up, keep in the closet while they both try and sleep? none of this makes sense unless they really didn't put Levi down to sleep until much later than I thought (maybe like 3am).
I feel like they are trying to copy Ellie and Jared's old nursery with the 2 cribs and triangles on the wall, didn't Kyra once say that she loved E&J?

I don't watch these guys, I just lurk in the shadows here to read the drama lol but you totally can get a rash from lice. That's how I realized my daughter had lice! I was parting her hair to braid it and noticed her scalp was blotchy red, started looking closer and then the freak out followed. The bites can cause an allergic type rash.

Tbh it sounded kind of serious to me??? Plus didn't she tweet a couple days ago she was going to get it checked out by a doctor? Maybe she just went and found out. I mean, she said her scalp was itchy all over, so it seems like that would be the case but idk. It'd be kind of weird and out-of-the-blue to just say, "Guys, I have lice", but maybe you're right. I'm bad with sarcasm Lol.

no it was a joke cause she has a rash all over behind her neck on her face etc you get that a lot at the end of your pregnancy i had it mine i was itching like crazy but it wasn't lice since hers feels like that I'm thinking it may be pupps definitely not lice she was just joking everybody on the comments was asking to and being told it was a joke

I haven't watched the vlog yet. Does she for sure have lice? It sounded like seborrheic dermatitis to me. I have it and it is annoying!!

The bites would be similar to that of a mosquito bite reaction. In my opinion, I wouldn't call it a rash. I am not a dermatologist and very well may be wrong. Kyra's rash is all over though, so even if it were a reaction from lice, it just wouldn't make sense for the location and extremity of the rash??? Regardless I hope for her and her families sake that it isn't lice and just having some type of reaction to a product she is using..

i never said the rash is from the lice. the rash could be from scratching tho...and it does look like suborrheic dermatitis..and if you read my comment you would see i said that people who do shower a lot can still get it if coming into contact with lice (aka use brush or comb infested with lice). I know how this works lol im in the med field. But anyways she can still have a rash and lice. I dont think she was kidding but oh well.

i actually hate the idea of a black and white nursery. it seems so empty and dimensional and stark and cruella deville-y? Idk it just doesnt seem apropriate for a baby. it isnt sweet light colors that make it feel homey and warm and comforting and airy. it's a dark contrast and just feels stifling to me.

I could be wrong, but my first thought was that this rash she's experiencing COULD be a side effect from the progesterone shots she's taking to stem off pre-term labor. Here's one site which talks about this, but there are more links if you do a google search:

From what I've read so far, it looks as though this rash is usually located at the injection site itself, so this may not be her issue. But still, if I were Kyra, I would definitely contact her physician and ask about side effects re the progesterone treatment.

I love those pics personally. I think offsetting the black and white with a pop of color, like teal, is a really cute and simple look, especially in the interest of keeping it gender-neutral with a boy and a girl sharing one room. But the way Kyra did it was so haphazard and ugly. She should have taken a ruler and measured them so they were all uniform rather than leaving a gaping space at the top like she did. Maybe she didn't care that much since they'll be moving into a house at some point...? Idk.

I can't believe people actually thought she was serious about the lice. Especially since she's been talking about the rash being all down her back and body for days. If you're still unconvinced she tweeted that it's not lice.

Anyway, I get the idea she was going for with the triangles and think it's really cute but she needed to put them on a little less sporadically. I don't understand why they did that in the middle of the night either...if they were going to stick Levi in the closet to sleep they could have done that during one of his naps at a normal hour. I imagine their neighbors would have been pretty annoyed with the sound. BUT it was VERY nice to see them finally setting up the nursery and Kyra's intent with it is very cute, just not executed the best.

That wall bugged me so much, I don't have ocd, but it's really not that hard to make sure they are spaced evenly. But then again, this is oscar and kyra we're talking about

I dont think its odd that they put together the other crib. She probably just wants to start decorating it and wants the other crib to be put together so she can put all the furniture in the room. Most youtubers and people in general put the crib together even if they have the baby in their room.

The triangles would have looked cute if they had just gone to bed and did it the next day. Nothing is wrong with wanting to set up the room but they were obviously tired after setting up the cribs. Since Levi wasn't sleeping in there that night, they could have waited. It just looked rushed.

Oscar ripped that lollipop right out of Kyra's mouth and said "Enough of that". She had it in her mouth for 5 seconds!!
(Her mouth looked a little blue when she was talking beforehand, but still. He is such an ass let her enjoy the damn lollipop!!!)
