im assuming they're sending it off to get trained. But with these type of dogs, the owner really should be the one training them. You have to assert yourself as dominate or they wont listen.Laura is dope 23 wrote:Wait... did they actually get rid of Luna?? I'm so confused and don't want to watch their stupid videos to find out. I used to give Jim credit for being the voice of reason, and being the responsible one, but I don't think that after the moose breaking scene! I don't think it was a great idea to give a mallet to a 3.5 year old boy who has a history of hitting people!

I was terrified he was going to hit Peyton, or even hit his own leg! He should have had a small hammer like Pey. He still could have done damage, but it would've been less likely. Thankfully Pey had sunglasses on, but Ollie didn't have eye protection or shoes on!

Jim got shoes for Ollie eventually, but no eyewear. A piece of the moose did actually pop up and hit Ollie because he said, "Ow!" and rubbed his face! That whole thing was a huge accident waiting to happen, and I'm so glad nothing did!

I just said the dog won't listen to them since they're not the ones training the dog. A fwe others agreed and their comments also got deletedEdenberry wrote:Bahaha! I would not be surprised if Luna never comes back. I don't understand why they keep getting pets if they just end up getting rid of them every time.

Yes! This!crew96 wrote:Those boarding training camps are not good for dogs! They use horrible methods to train dogs rather than positive reinforcement. Luna will never see them as dominant.

I have a boarder collie that I rescued a few years ago as an adult. Herding dogs, even in older ages, still have a ton of energy and are inherently dominant. Granted, when I got mine she was already potty trained, but it took months for her to see me as a dominant figure. I go to school full time and work two jobs, and still find time to exercise (and retrain her when I got her) her every day so I don't see why they couldn't do it themselves. Cmon people, you adopted a dog knowing it was a responsibility... now except that responsibility.

Re: DailyKingsandQueensofLie-daho (Part 80)
But a few months ago didn't missy jump in the pool too when they where doing the music video? I didn't see that in ropes, only bryan was under water.
Re: DailyKingsandQueensofLie-daho (Part 80)
Yeah, you called it! That was so lazy of them. Again, they have all of the time in the world to do these things! They couldn't have created an original voice over for the four year wrap up? I'm surprised they left the clip of Zuri in there. They should've added Lenny, too LOL! Also, half of that video was an ego stroke for Bryan, since he couldn't stop talking about his album and performances! Clearly nobody cares, Bryan, because hardly anyone brought that terrible album but your paid "friends" and other youtubers trying to ride your coat tails.MamaJoAnna wrote:Called. It.MamaJoAnna wrote:They're going to use Bryan's little year recap at the end of today's video as a voiceover for the year recap video. Count on it.
Also LOLed at no mention of his album's placement on the chart just because it never made it to #1

These are the exact reasons we gave for why they shouldn't get an Australian Shepherd! It's not like these are qualities that Aussies aren't known for. If you don't want a dog who does these things, don't get a breed that is well-known to do them if you know you can't take the time to stay home and give them attention. This isn't just a phase Luna will grow out of, training will help but if they aren't consistent and reinforce the training it will disappear quickly. That's basic behaviorismMommaLindsey2 wrote:I agree that it's very lazy. She said they travel too much to keep up with the intense training they need and she chases and bites the kids and needs to learn not to do that.tml43 wrote:That is still being lazy as hell, and giving your dog away because you don't want to do the hard work that comes with owning a puppy.MommaLindsey2 wrote:From what I understood the trainer was going to train her and mollie and give them back? They are irresponsible pet owners. Normal people do not give their pets away, and have them come back later. The dog won't even continue to bond with them or the kids.
I'm just waiting for Missy to say she wants a damn micro pig.

Oh how did you train him "quiet" I would love to train my reactive bull terrier that command.tml43 wrote:Maybe it's a sign they shouldn't have more pets. Dogs don't need "intense" training at all. I feel a little bad for all the minions who seem to think that Luna will be back after a few days all trained up. It can take weeks for a dog to start getting commands, then there is the work on keeping up the training. I really wish they would stop the revolving door of pets and be happy with Karma the one they have always had.

A few of the comments from FB. I'm sure they'll be gone soon. It really is sad that these little kids think the dog will be back in a couple of days. Not sure why the Johnson's sent their dog. I thought she was fine. Had to laugh right before before they go into the whole thing about the dog leaving... she pees in ollies room and missy says her fault. Yes it is your fault because your lazy.
That dog lasted one month. It's a real shame. As much as I find fault with E and J at least they've done a really good job with penny. She seems like she's becoming a great family pet.
For missy to say that they had to go out to eat because they hadn't been shopping was ridiculous since just the day before they showed a refrigerator that had fruits and vegetables in the drawers. 6 adults and 4 kids could've eaten some of it. Wonder who bought all that food? The Johnson's or Mimi and poppa when they stayed there ?

Re: DailyKingsandQueensofLie-daho (Part 80)
The professional dog trainers I've seen all say you can't send your dog away or have someone else train them. They need to have a relationship with their owner, and that person needs to know how to handle them. Dog training is as much for the owner as it is for the dog. Luna can come back
An absolute gem of a dog, and B&M will ruin it in no time.
One point about E&Js dog though, Jared had a livestream the other day and Penny was jumping on the furniture and trying to steal Jackson's food. She also ran out the front door and got away from them. They have definitely been training her, but she is still an out of control puppy too.
