Re: DailyKingsandQueensofLie-daho (Part 80)
I stopped watching family vloggers months ago, and don't keep up with what is going on here. However, I felt like I was in The Twilight Zone today when my husband had surgery. It must have been one of the Surgery Center's heavy pediatric days. I was stunned by how many kids were watching The Lumps & E&J! Nothing would calm the two year old next store but watching the damn Lumps! I think people given them too much credit for having an audience of 12 year olds; it's more like 2 year olds. I did see one of the grandmas watching their blog in the waiting room, so I guess they do have a small adult demo.
Back when I watched vloggers, hearing Jared scream drive my normally chill husband insane, so imagine how awful it was to hear him scream while he was freshly post-op, lol.
From what I heard, the lazy shits got more dogs and are sending them away to be trained? I guess when they are broke, Speidi 2.0 can't claim that they blew lots of money flying private because they loved their dogs so much.
Lastly, hearing Jackson speak so well, and then hearing Ollie was shocking. Jackson sounds like a precious little guy, but I am not giving his pedo baiting dad a view to see.

The album is also on Spotify in the UK now so it must be worldwide if you are that keen to listen, it is free.
Re: DailyKingsandQueensofLie-daho (Part 80)
what really bothered me the most about the vlog is i thought papa cared about ollies safety and when they were smashing the moose ollie didnt even have shoes on so if any pieces flew on the ground he could have gotten seriously hurt

Oh my god. This vlog was sooo annoying
"Well ya know cause we travel so much and have two kids it's hard to be consistent with her training blah blah blah"
Hey Missy and Bryan. Here's a geinus idea.
DONT GET A PUPPY YOURE TOO BUSY FOR!!
I just can't even anymore. These people are like a bunch of impulsive idiotic teenagers. What the heck did you expect with a herding dog puppy. You already dropped Karma once (or twice) a month for your trips...why did you add another dog to be thrown to the side
I seriously cannot take these people anymore. Anything to attract their audience of children. Stupidity at its finest, folks

Am I the only one that can't understand the lyrics of the new song? I tried so hard not to watch the video, but I can't stop watching this train wreck...lol! Anyway, his pronunciation is AWFUL!! And I'm sorry but I could not keep a straight face at Bryan and Missy's so dramatic acting

Re: DailyKingsandQueensofLie-daho (Part 80)
I don't have a whole lot of dog knowledge beyond having a couple of mutts with basic obedience training, but isn't that especially true with herding dogs? Because they're so smart and dominant, don't they need to respect their _owners_, and not so much the people who are helping train them? And every time we've been in obedience class, they have said just what you said, HS-- that the training is for the owner too, to teach them how to interact and establish that they're the alpha. These people are freaking idiots.HelloSweetie wrote:The professional dog trainers I've seen all say you can't send your dog away or have someone else train them. They need to have a relationship with their owner, and that person needs to know how to handle them. Dog training is as much for the owner as it is for the dog. Luna can come back
An absolute gem of a dog, and B&M will ruin it in no time.
One point about E&Js dog though, Jared had a livestream the other day and Penny was jumping on the furniture and trying to steal Jackson's food. She also ran out the front door and got away from them. They have definitely been training her, but she is still an out of control puppy too.
Speaking of idiots, should they be worried about rattlesnakes in the chicken coop once the weather warms up? I know rattlers don't eat eggs, and can't swallow a chicken, but might they be in there looking for prey anyway? Coyotes may sound scary, but they're shy, and aren't going to attack people. If the Lumps are making a big deal about coyotes being scary, they're just being dramatic.

Yes, the owner NEEDS to be part of the dogs training. So they view the owner Alpha. Otherwise it's not going to work.lmmomSD wrote:I don't have a whole lot of dog knowledge beyond having a couple of mutts with basic obedience training, but isn't that especially true with herding dogs? Re: DailyKingsandQueensofLie-daho (Part 80)
Okay sooo... 100% not trying to defend them as I completely agree that they're are lazy POS', but just bear with me for a second while I play devil's advocate.
I personally know a family that went the same route with their dog (a Rhodesian Ridgeback), and he is the best dog I have ever met (I've never had a dog of my own. Sad, I know.) and is completely bonded and in love with them. I think it greatly depends on the facility the dog is sent to first of all, so I can't speak on that in the DB's case, but I would be very interested if we could find out where they are sending her. If it is just a commercial doggy boot camp type place then I will retract all of my statements. However, the dog that I am referring to was sent to a Caesar Milan type of guy. He is a dog whisperer and does not use typical practices that just anyone knows/can implement on their own without research and experience. So, really, with the DB's money, they could be sending Luna to the same type of place, we really don't know that.
As far as the bonding process goes, they got the dog when he was a puppy and he lived with them for about a month, no more than 2, and was at the facility for a couple of weeks (2-4, if I'm remembering correctly). Yes, it was very hard on them having their puppy be gone that long and missing out on the time with him, but they knew it would be best in the long run. There was no problem with bonding because he spent the initial time with them, and they would check in there periodically. Before they took him back home, they spent a half day with the trainer at the facility, learning the commands and the ins and outs of how they trained him. He had no problem acclimating with them back at home. I'm sure it depends on the dog, of course, but believe it or not they do have a great memory of people they have bonded with, even if it was for a short amount of time. But again, I don't know how much bonding the DB's have done with Luna with her being tied up in the house the whole time.
Honestly, although it is definitely the easy way out, I can't really be mad at the lumps for this. At least they are somewhat admitting that they know they don't have the time (even though they do...lol), or energy, or discipline to train a puppy properly. They have never trained a dog before (I'm convinced that Mimi and Papa trained Karma), and they have a hyper herding dog with two small children. As much as I completely agree that they are lazy and worthless, I would rather see them send their dog away to be trained properly if they are unable to do so themselves, for the sake of the boys' safety and wellbeing.
In other words, it's their lazy, rich, entitled way of actually being responsible.

Re: DailyKingsandQueensofLie-daho (Part 80)
They should have chosen a breed that would work with their lifestyle, not a high-energy working dog. They like the way the breed looks, but it's a complete mismatch. That dog is always going to need attention and engaging play or she's going to be destructive. And even an obedient dog needs a handler who knows what they're doing to reinforce the training and manage the dog. I question what outside training is going to really accomplish if it's not reinforced at home. They aren't addressing their own incompetencies as dog handlers if they send her away and are not taking part in the training process. Thoroughly training a puppy takes months, not a few days or even weeks. I would seriously question a trainer who gave them the expectation that they would get a completely different puppy in a few days of training.

I'm guessing that if you ask your friends if they had any learning to do about how to properly handle/maintain the training, their answer would be yes.Boredomatitsfinest wrote:Okay sooo... 100% not trying to defend them as I completely agree that they're are lazy POS', but just bear with me for a second while I play devil's advocate.

We know DB have no repeat for "experts"
and will spoil the dog, break training and will end up just wasting their money.

Yes, they totally did. That's what I meant to imply when I said they spend a half day with the trainer. The trainer taught them how to establish dominance and the commands to use and so on.HelloSweetie wrote:I'm guessing that if you ask your friends if they had any learning to do about how to properly handle/maintain the training, their answer would be yes.Boredomatitsfinest wrote:Okay sooo... 100% not trying to defend them as I completely agree that they're are lazy POS', but just bear with me for a second while I play devil's advocate.

And, you're right. I don't doubt for a second that the training will go to waste. They probably have the idea that they can just send their puppy away and she will come back a magically trained dog that requires no work.
But, I guess my intention of posting was to point out that 1) they are half-heartedly admitting to their laziness (at least they're aware that they won't be able to properly train her), and 2) I do think they have good intentions with this. Again, as I said, I would rather see them be lazy and send her away to get at least /some/ training in her, than see them be lazy and have it end up badly for one of the boys.
And most importantly, what I forgot to mention; obviously they should not have gotten a dog if they "don't have the time to train her". Lol. We all know that's just a cop out for, "We got this puppy for the views, but we have no idea how to train her, so we're going to pay someone else to do it."
Re: DailyKingsandQueensofLie-daho (Part 80)
Okay, people have said PLENTY of WONDERFUL things about what these people have done now, but I would like to add my two cents.
1. are you fucking kidding me
2. If you don't have the time for a puppy, do not get a puppy. Seriously. A puppy doesn't deserve to be in a home where it's going to get left alone or with other people constantly because you're either out shopping or on another vacation.
3. No time because you travel? Newsflash: you are not FORCED to travel. Yes, perhaps you "have" to travel for things like Vidcon to meet the people who gave you the life you have today, but you don't have to go somewhere all the time. If you want to have a life where all you do is travel, don't get a pet.
4. If the trainer they gave it to is the same one who told them to do the stupid leash thing, that dog IS going to be tied to something until she's perfectly submissive.
5. While it may be good for some people to have their dogs trained by someone else, most people will do their best to keep up with the training. Missy and Bryan, as others have pointed out, will only fuck it up and completely undo all of her training. That is, if they actually take the dog back

Re: DailyKingsandQueensofLie-daho (Part 80)
The montage was so stupid - apparently they have been vlogging for 5 years and the only word that Ollie has been for the last few years is "YEAHHHHH" - also why weren't Bryan's family in the montage? It looks like they only favour Missy's side of the family and their YouTube obligation friends!!
You would think with the amount of money they have they would invest in a large fence around their land to keep the coyote's away from their pets - and most importantly their little kids!! They waste money on a talking fridge or a dishwasher that can check voicemail (hahaha I wouldn't be surprised if this does happen one day) and they don't do the more important things for their own safety!

Re: DailyKingsandQueensofLie-daho (Part 80)
Missy was mad at Luna for peeing on the carpet, but if you listen closely you can hear her whining and she was looking around for a place to go. She should have recognized those signs and put her outside, but obviously vlogging is more important.
