I guess since I was only 19, with a child I see it differently... I literally did everything myself as soon as my hubs left. Then moving overseas I was more prepared to actually take care of everything on my own. That's the only reason why I think she should've started taking care of things on her own, because if I had my family helping me I'd have no idea what to do now with my husband leaving again, especially since I have no family here and they're 5,000 miles away lol

Obviously your personal experience made you more prepared (which is great!) but even if V also had a child young, she had a lot a help with Lily (and can still have support if needed right now) so that's probably why she didn't mind the help now and I read someone said that since David's brother also is in the military, his mother is more used to it so I am really fine with her having help this first time. But as you probably read in my post, I agree that eventually she will need to deal with everything. (Also it was more efficient to mail the information as your husband did I think, because the fact that she had to collect the information during a short phone call with the children around is why I thought indeed it was more convenient to have David's mother helping this first time)

Keeping a newborn on a schedule instead of demand feeding lol thats a pretty major one.

You listen here missy: Charlie put HIMSELF on that schedule. He sat Vanessa down and told her he only wants to eat every two to three hours.

I know it's not the nicest thing to say, but she does not make cute kids. I just don't think their cute and it has nothing to with Lilly's disability. She and David just don't make cute kids together.

Is it just me, or does Charlie just seem like a really unhappy baby. It seems in every video, whether Snapchat or YouTube, he's always fussing or just looks uncomfortable. Poor thing.

It's because they look mousy, Vanessa looks like a mouse and so do her kids, but besides that resemblence I think they look cute, lily at least. Charlie will probably even out once he gets older especially if he gets a little bit of Lily's curly hair

Shes always like "oh he's stirring" and the poor baby is wiggling around with his mouth open looking for a boob. I wish shed just pick him up and feed him instead. Btw, I haven't heard anyone say "stirring" when referring to a baby lol

In her old navy video she doesn't look like she is about to bust into tears?? She just looks and sounds like she probably had been trying to do the video but the baby kept fussing and she was trying to hurry up before he had a meltdown.

Charlie sounds very, very raspy, like he has reflux. Every time he makes a sound he sounds so hoarse.
