Re: CaitlinFladager: Part 2
Her latest FB post about "end the stigma" that the mother should do the housework, cooking and parenting. She wrote how Noah either cooks or does all the dishes every night, and they split the laundry and all other household chores. And that he stayed up with the babies and took turns getting up at night. That's great that he helps but holy shit he also has a full time job and school?! And she gets to sleep in til 9 or 10 every day?? Doesn't seem fair to him

I know I think guys should be expected to help out with their kids - but she's not really being fair to him tbh.

Re: CaitlinFladager: Part 2
Right, like don't get me wrong I expect my husband to help out as much as possible and pull his weight with our child but I'm also realistic about the fact that he works 60-70 hours per week and while I totally believe that taking care of children at home is also a full time job I also realize that since my job takes place in the home I have a lot more opportunity to do housework in between taking care of the children. His job is 100% outside of the house and he works his ass off at his job, so damn right I make sure we have meals and laundry taken care of for when he gets home so we can enjoy a little bit of time together.pepsi- wrote:I know I think guys should be expected to help out with their kids - but she's not really being fair to him tbh.

Re: CaitlinFladager: Part 2
yeah if youre a sahm with no job or school, then you should do majority of the housework because thats what youre there for at home while your man goes out to provide. its pretty sad Noah comes home to do dishes every night. Poor guy deserves better. Wish he had some spine

Re: CaitlinFladager: Part 2
I glanced at her video and it is awful. She keep the video very, very tight, making sure she just showed who she was filming. Trying to keep everyone from seeing the background? I can tell from the flooring the house is shitty.

Re: CaitlinFladager: Part 2
She needs to learn how to film in landscape (phone sideways, Caitlin) That's like common knowledge..
They live in Canada, do they not own a snowblower or a shovel to do a quick snow removal job to get in the driveway at least?

Re: CaitlinFladager: Part 2
Yeah, I've said before she's definitely embarrassed of their house. She is very careful not to show much and/or takes pictures at her parents house instead. If it was anything to brag about you know she'd be showing it off every chance she got. I've always thought her home was one of the biggest reasons she's been hesitant to do YouTubenutbagmcgee wrote:I glanced at her video and it is awful. Re: CaitlinFladager: Part 2
I'm damn sure if Noah worked from home and she worked outside the house regardless of the "stigma" she would not come home having to do anything.
Also these are things that came to me after watching her vlog 1) that is not the biggest snowfall in fifty years - and also she probably just needs snow tires. 2) if Noah makes as much as she implied why would he go back to school? And what for? Why is she so secretive about what it was. 3) idk about y'all but they just seemed like strangers in that video to me - and if he doesn't use social media I wonder what he using that phone for.

Okay turns out both Ari and Jack were in the car...she was checking her phone at Red lights (which is still incredibly dangerous especially with kids in the back) and when she stopped the car and started reading the comments she got upset that people called her out on it and stopped the vlog....
She also said "Okay...let me just block them" so she still can't take criticism well

Re: CaitlinFladager: Part 2
Ugh what a moron. She's never taken any sort of criticism well at all. You know what scares me Caitlin, the fact that you've only been driving for 4months and you're already using your phone while driving! With kids in the back!!!Casbel wrote:Okay turns out both Ari and Jack were in the car...she was checking her phone at Red lights (which is still incredibly dangerous especially with kids in the back) and when she stopped the car and started reading the comments she got upset that people called her out on it and stopped the vlog....

Re: CaitlinFladager: Part 2
I don't either. It's so not worth it. People don't believe me when I say I've never texted while driving because it's so common but I've never been ok with it. I know people who have died while doing it. I don't wish that on anyone. Besides the obvious safety issue, It's illegal in my state (can't remember if it's illegal in every state yet or not?) but the fine you get is HUGE and you can lose your license. She's an idiot, as are all these YouTubers that snap chat and Instagram live while driving. Just because "everyone" does it and you haven't personally seen a tragedy occur do to it, doesn't make it any less dangerous. Sorry for the rant!Casbel wrote:^^ it's honestly terrifying!! To go live while driving! Oh my god if she got caught In Canada ( I'm assuming she has her N if she just started driving) she would get a 700$ fine, her license taken away, and also the chance of killing her self, her kids . And anyone else. I'm so sad she would do that. Ive been driving for 5 years and would never. Clearly that accident didn't scare her too much...

Re: CaitlinFladager: Part 2
Thank you! I was hoping people wouldn't think I was being too harsh, it's just an issue I take extremely seriously. And I feel kinda bad questioning her being "traumatized" by a car accident and that being her reasoning for not driving, but I'm just not convinced about that. I lost two friends in serious car accidents in middle school (when I was 12 and then again at 13) one was caused by a drunk driver and one was caused by a driver who was texting. I then lost another friend at 15 who was the passenger in the car and his friend was texting while driving and didn't stop at a stop light. Those incidents all occurred before I had taken drivers ed, and I remember being terrified of driving and putting it off for as long as possible. I was scared as shit to drive, but I did it, and I've always been a very cautious and anxious driver. I think you can be anxious about something but not have it completely prevent you from doing it. I'm sure that's part of her reasoning, but ultimately it's just an excuse.pepsi- wrote:To go live while driving! Re: CaitlinFladager: Part 2
And like you said, if the accident scared her so badly why is she taking stupid risks like that?! The very reason I don't text and drive is BECAUSE I was traumatized by accidents...makes me question it

Re: CaitlinFladager: Part 2
I'm a little confused how licenses work in Canada (I'm from New Zealand)
Over here we have 3 stages of licence:
Learner -You have to be at least 16 years old. You have to pass a written test and always be accompanied by a driver who has had their FULL licence for 2 years or more.
You have to display two "L plates" on the front and rear of your vehicle at all times.
Restricted - You have to have had your learner licence for at least 6 months and pass a practical driving test
You can't drive after 10pm or before 5am
You cannot drive passengers unless you have an adult who has had their full licence for over 2 years accompany you
Full - You have had your restricted license for 18 months (12 if you take a defensive driving course) You must pass a practical driving test.
Zero driving restrictions but you cannot accompany a learner or restricted driver until you've had your licence for 2 years.
So I'm a little confused as to how she's allowed to drive (on her own, with passengers) if she only started learning 4 months ago??
