Re: Steps to Wander
All their talk about having an early baby is so silly. It's good to be prepared, but they're being awfully presumptuous about something that's entirely unknown and out of their control.
LOL that Corbin is impressed with Missy and Bryan for feeding their 15-month-old chips.
I find it interesting he mentions the ability to instill your values in your child. Considering he was raised Mormon, he should take a look at his own first-hand experience with that one. There's a reason children don't turn out as carbon copies of their parents. Everyone has their own personality and will. As a parent you can control some things, but if you're going to try to "shape" or "mold" anyone into the person you think they should be, you're setting yourself up for dissapoibtment.

Re: Steps to Wander
By having the viewers believe that baby could come early, they can keep using words such as "false alarm" and "contraction" in the title as clickbaits... LOL. Also, they keep the viewers on their toes so they don't lose interests like they did after the gender reveal video.

Re: Steps to Wander
They can't afford them. I use those, and they are $$$. It will be like Missy, they will tell everyone those are the diapers they are using, and then they will quietly switch to a cheaper brand.HashtagBlessed wrote:It will be a trip to watch these two try to cloth diaper. I predict it will last approximately a minute before they're getting Honest Co. disposable diapers delivered. The pulp is harvested from sustainable managed forests, after all!
Missy always talked about using HC and Babyganics, but a lot of the time her kids have been spotted in Huggies

Re: Steps to Wander
They are beyond ridiculous being so positive that this baby is going to come early. For people who are talking about everything being "all natural" they are failing to recognize that most first time moms go late. They should also want Juniper to get those last 3-4 weeks for her lungs to mature more and to reach full term.

Re: Steps to Wander
I bet they'll start freaking out when she hits 39 weeks and by 40 they'll have an induction scheduled. Their natural birth will go out the window & we will hear a dramatic story about how a c-sections saved their lives

Re: Steps to Wander
I do wonder why they both think she'll be early. Kelsey thinks March 1, which is a week before the due date. And, of course, Corbin thinks she'll be here this week. Maybe early babies run in their families?? But healthy first borns are usually late! Or maybe the due date changed and they haven't shared that info??
Anyone here want to make guesses on the birth date? I'm blocked from their YT comments, so maybe I'll just add my guess here. HAHAHA
My guess is early morning March 11.

Re: Steps to Wander
I'm currently 35 weeks and my due date is March 18th, but I'll be induced a week early due to medical reasons. This whole pregnancy I've thought my baby will be born before hers given that it's my third pregnancy and I'll be induced.
My guess is March 11th as well. These next few weeks I expect a lot of hyped up fake drama, clickbait and complaining from Kelsey.
They really annoyed me when they titled the video "nightmare pregnancy appointment" when she puked on herself at that glucose test. I lost my second baby at 23 weeks due to a fatal heart defect, these two don't even understand a sliver of what a nightmare appointment is. I was also rolling my eyes about the excessive worrying they did about Kelsey measuring small. They are typical ignorant bliss first time parents, but the clickbait really is insensitive, especially considering they should understand the realities of pregnancy loss since their BFF experienced it twice.

Re: Steps to Wander
Good grief, what is going on with Kelsey's hair? I mean, Corbin's is bad, but hers has me scratching my head too. It's super blonde on top, mouse brown on the bottom, and orange at the tips. She's got three distinct regions of hair color going on. I assumed she was naturally light blonde as she said, but her roots come in darker before she gets it done, which makes me wonder if she was coloring her hair blonde before the henna and that's why she's getting it touched up every month. She's a lot like Missy with these constant salon appointments. You'd think given their financial constraints these two would be more low maintenance. She should be shooting for her natural hair color- what looks like a medium honey/copper blonde- while waiting for the henna to grow out and stop trying to go so bright. I wonder how much Missy and Bryan are giving them every month.

Re: Steps to Wander
What is up with the orange tips?? Like if that was the look she was going for then ok.. but is henna dye so hard to get rid of that they cant do an all over color with her? she clearly bleaching it, so i cant see her making the excuse that she doesn't want to damage it.. unless henna dye is hard to strip? The blonde with the darker brown underneath would look so much better with out those bright orange tips. I think she looked so much better with the henna dyed hair anyway, the red suits her more than that super bright blonde.HashtagBlessed wrote:Good grief, what is going on with Kelsey's hair? Re: Steps to Wander
It's true that henna is really, really hard to remove. It is weird that she's bleaching it out. Yes, Balayage is BLEACH! So much for being natural...and it's WAY more expensive than regular highlights. I'm guessing it's another gift from Missy, because it was probably $200!Playsinrain wrote:unless henna dye is hard to strip?

Re: Steps to Wander
Why does Kelsey draw the line and consuming artificial color and walking through an airport scanner, but bleaching her hair is okay? I know it's generally considered safe to dye hair during pregnancy, but it wouldn't be fun to inhale the fumes. And it's for aesthetic purposes only. It's not like she has to bleach her hair right now.

It's because they are really naive and fake all this "we're all natural!" stuff. They are 1000% fake.fossilfinger wrote:Why does Kelsey draw the line and consuming artificial color and walking through an airport scanner, but bleaching her hair is okay? Re: Steps to Wander
I'm interested to see how they do with cloth diapering too. I use cloth diapers with my son, and I actually like it a lot more than disposables. At least when we are at home.

I'm really effing sick of these people and their "sustainable life style". Corbin said in the vlog today that he didn't want a bike, he wanted a boosted board. I wanted to scream. Sorry guys, filling your apartment with amazon furtnature and not owning a car doesn't make you "sustainable" just because you buy environmentally friendly headphones and shop at Trader Joe's.
And as a traveler myself, I started watching them when they were living out of a van but quickly lost interest when they complained in every. Single. Vlog. They were surrounded by so many beautiful things yet they were so caught up in their van breaking down and how national parks aren't dog friendly (which is for sustanability reasons).
Re: Steps to Wander
Is it just me or does Kelsey's constant "doe in the headlights" expression bother anyone else?!
I find it just makes her look so young and naive, but in a bad way. Get it together, woman!

Re: Steps to Wander
I love how Kelsey really thinks drinking red raspberry leaf tea and eating dates will = a totally perfect natural labor and birth.

Re: Steps to Wander
They are just so boring. They barely leave the house and when they do it's just to eat. Who wants to watch people build Legos??
Don't they pride themselves on being "travel vloggers"? They haven't even done a day trip in months. (I'm not counting the baby shower/"LA" trip that was paid for by DBs and also completely boring). Sure, they'll get a spike in views when June's born, but then they will be even more boring. Sleeping baby montages are not interesting at all!

Re: Steps to Wander
They are so boring! But it's a model that worked for Daily Bumps. Stay home on the couch, leave the house to eat out, spend money frivolously on Lego sets and balayage highlights, complain, repeat. The only difference is they have a delusional holier than thou attitude about being "sustainable" or "travel vloggers" rather than "pop stars."
