I can't even begin to imagine all the whiny cooing over Kelsey Corbin will do once the baby is born. "My love, you got up threeeeee tiiiimes last night. You are suuuuch a gooooood moooooooooom." And then he'll bring her lots of takeout from the food trucks and buy her appointments at the nail salon and the chiropractor and the hair stylist like every day.usernamessuck wrote: Though i do want to see the shitshow that will be them inconvienced by a newborn. What is it with these guys and their whiny voices? Jeff is the same way. His normal conversation sounds like whining. And Bryan sounds whiny a lot of the time too.fossilfinger wrote:I can't even begin to imagine all the whiny cooing over Kelsey Corbin will do once the baby is born. This is so accurate. Perfect recap of every vlog they upload.fossilfinger wrote:I can't even begin to imagine all the whiny cooing over Kelsey Corbin will do once the baby is born. Re: Steps to Wander
It seems to be the sort of thing that makes adult viewers roll their eyes, but gets the child viewers all excited and engaged. So on some level they understand it's all about getting the kids to click on their videos, but then when they do a segment of "Corbin's crazy comments" where he makes fun of the comments section, they don't seem to get that the vast majority of the people interacting with them are kids. So those comments were probably left by 8 and 10 year olds. Of course they don't make any sense. He just looks daft to me for highlighting how immature their audience is.valeryjackson wrote:i really hope she goes overdue, even though i'm tired of all their clickbaits.
I've noticed that they're starting to surpass Katie and Cullen in terms of comments and views per video. Of course Katie and Cullen have a huge archive of videos from the past however many years, so their monthly average is much higher.

Re: Steps to Wander
And this week she's questioning whether or not to allow the doctors to administer pitocin after delivery because it's not natural and she trusts her body to do what it's supposed to. The pitocin is a preventative measure to hopefully reduce the risk of hemorrhaging, and while it's great that she "trusts" innher body she needs to relax and realize that medicine has a place and a purpose. Hemorrhaging was and still is the most common complication and cause of maternal death in deliveries. Why does she feel like she knows better than all of the medical professionals. She annoys me with all of this.

From what I'm reading here it sounds like she's expecting a homebirth experience in a hospital, and I have a feeling that even if the doctors do their best to accommodate her wishes, she's going to be upset with the experience for one reason or another. Have they ever given a specific reason why she isn't having a home birth? I would guess insurance/being in a rental, but I'm curious if they've actually addressed it. I have a feeling when she talks about the birth it will be titled "Traumatic Birth Story" and the trauma will be something like the doctor not doing delayed cord clamping. I think every mom should have their wishes honored if medically feasible, but Kelsey seems like she's going to melt down if everything isn't exactly the way she wants it, and she's just setting herself up for unnecessary stress.

Re: Steps to Wander
I wonder if Missy's dramatic births, with "saving" Ollie and her much desired VBAC going all awry have anything to do with Kelsey's fears. Kelsey seems to be high maintenance to begin with, and then hearing Missy's horror stories can't be very reassuring. And the thing is, you can have birth plans up the wazoo, but things just happen. Babies come when they want to, and sometimes things just don't go the way you "plan". If she's not flexible at all, she's setting herself up for disappointment, and getting all spun about the "birth plan" when the point is to leave the hospital with a healthy baby. Even if it means a departure from how she wants things to go.

Re: Steps to Wander
I really hope she goes overdue. And being as she doesn't want medical intervention unless completely necessary I hope she goes a week or so overdue.
They seem to have no clue about what's coming.
It'll be interesting to see how quickly the buy/are gifted a vehicle and how quickly they move. While I don't think babies need their own room, I just don't think the storage in that apartment is going to work for long.

Re: Steps to Wander
I'm so sick of hearing about how anxious they are. I get it, it's nerve wracking waiting for your first child to be born, but when all you have to do all day is go to the spa, go out to eat and take naps, I don't want to hear about your anxiety. A lot of new mom's at this stage are anxiously trying to figure out when to start their maternity leave so they maximize the amount of time they have with their newborn. Sheesh.

They literally have nothing else to talk about. When they have a newborn it'll be interesting for a minute but the baby will sleep all day and be pretty boring for viewers, so done expect the click bait & overly dramatic responses to end anytime soon.

Re: Steps to Wander
I've literally stopped watching them and just come here for the comments. They are too boring.
Re: Steps to Wander
Yeah but they are soooooo relaxed...and stressed out. Ridiculous is what they are.
Personal: I was also convinced my entire first pregnancy that my daughter would be born early (not at 37 weeks like them but around 39 weeks) and she came the day before her "due date." This pregnancy I just say "she'll be here in April." It's better than stressing about a particular day or week. They should have done this too especially since a "natural" delivery is sooooo important. I roll my eyes at these two.

I'm not surprised that there is SO much sugar in her "energy bites" recipe. Those are cookies and don't pretend otherwise, lol. I am still laughing at them for being so "health conscious" and yet their diet is so high in sugar and low in nutritional value.

I love how they are saying because they won't have time to drop by and pick things up. I bet the post office was sick of their box overflowing and told them to either come more frequently or get a bigger option (I don't know if there are different sizes or not.)valeryjackson wrote:for those who wants to know about today's clickbait video they are closing their po box.

I'm guessing the post office was going to force them to get a more expensive/larger box. I totally don't believe they are going to be too busy to pick up free presents at the post office. Or maybe the really are THAT lazy??!!
