So what were they like? I traded my daughter when she still liked them that if she wanted to meet them, all we had to do was hang out at Temecula Promenade, and we would stumble across them (that was when they were going to the mall a couple times a week) I am always interested in hearing from people who have met vloggers.

YES. I remember them going to thrift stores and buying board games, I remember them doing thrift store hauls. I remember Missy being so excited to have a friend help her refinish an old armoire for Ollie's baby clothes...and I remember them being super excited when Cassie trash-picked a Pack n' Play or something from the curb and they were thrilled that it was in such good condition and they could clean it up and have a spare. I was going through a rough patch at the time and loved that they were so down-to-earth and relatable. It made me feel like not every young person in the world had their lives perfectly planned out...that there were people that had struggles and were making their way through them, even if it was tough. I love to thrift and upcycle as a hobby, so it was fun to see some younger people do things like that. I specifically remember chatting about them with my mom, and saying how refreshing it was to see a young couple who didn't feel the pressure to build a huge new house right away and was happy to make do splitting the rent with family and being a little thrifty. (Not that everyone has to go down this path, by any means - I just thought it was cool that they weren't ashamed to be living within their means and saving for their future, even if it meant living in a garage and sharing a house with Mimi and Papa.) And I would even be thrilled for their success on YouTube now if they weren't so ridiculous with money and the vlogs weren't all about the new latest and greatest thing they bought.

How quickly things can change when people get money...

I completely agree with everything you said! I remember watching vlogs of them getting things off Craigslist.. going to old navy for 50% sales and opening up about their financial struggle between their families and even their struggle on welfare. It was refreshing like you said! Idk what the hell they are doing now.

I've been checking in on April, the giraffe on YT and saw Shay's scandal. I've said it before: Bry Bry is also a secret heavy drinker. I am shocked more people don't notice. I don't watch them anymore, but you can always tell by his eyes, and the way he becomes a bully to his "friends" when he drinks. I think the fall out with Andrew came about as a result of Bryan being an ass while drunk. I'm sure he was jealous that their channel was growing & said something stupid. I think his drinking is the reason they need the assistants so much-- Jeff is his sober driver. Is he still having all of those car fender benders? I think it's only a matter of time before Bryan does something stupid & gets caught, just like King Shay.

It's funny because, well TMI, my sister is a recovering drug addict and watching her go through that struggle always made me so cautious about drugs and alcohol and I have never done drugs, and have a few drinks occasionally but with Bryan's past and his mom and dad being alcoholics you would think that would have scared him enough? At dinner he has wine, boxes of beer in the fridge and garage. Missy bought him a home made beer kit one year for Christmas. He's always having some sort of alcoholic beverage while going out or even on an airplane. I understand the occasional drink but he always keeps it a secret and I just find it so strange! There's got to be more to this story of them. Maybe that's why he's so extra all the time.

I started watching Missy's bump dates when Ollie was a couple months old, I was pregnant for the first time and loved watching what another mom was going through at the same point in pregnancy. I started watching their vlogs but was put off by the clickbait, and then when Missy did her "nice try" thing I knew there was something off about them. I found her videos really informative though so I kept watching.

I remember one vlog where they had a sneaky sponsorship for Hulu that they didn't disclose in the description box, I asked in the comments if it was sponsored and Missy replied but deleted before I could read her reply, but a disclosure about the sponsorship was added. I don't think that's against YT's rules to not disclose, but it just seemed kinda shady at the time and I stopped watching. I found Guru Gossip first to get gossip about the Schuerman Show, and then headed over here to see if any one else felt the same way about them

Bryan's mom isn't an alcoholic. And I don't think Bryan is either. I think he's a grown up who has a couple beers or glasses of wine in the evening, and indulges to the point of being buzzed or drunk a couple times per month.
I know plenty of people who drink wine, beer or cocktails every single day, but they're in no way alcoholics. He's an adult. There is absolutely nothing wrong with drinking beer everyday if he so chooses.
The only reason it seems like a "secret" is because of the age group who watches them. I can guarantee you they cuss, drink and make inappropriate jokes too. Just not on the vlog.

I started watching them before they moved to the rental. Like everyone it was relatable to watch a young couple who had struggles around my age. It was a little after they moved into the mansion I unsubbed and barely watch now. Their outrageous spending killed it for me everything I liked about them was dead and gone. ( but still lurk cause Finn is adorable)

I'm always on here reading about the pregnancy speculation. Some of you are saying that they might have done the gender selection, do you really think they would do that? I mean since they are kind of religious, would that even be allowed? Would Missy's family even be okay with that?

When I stopped watching them last summer it was becoming more and more obvious. He would wander off to bed and leave Missy to end the vlog. She didn't seem to know where he was. He has passed out in vacay vlogs and when he and Jared went to see C&K.
He would talk about having been up all night puking. He showed his desk one time and there were a lot of empty beer bottles. He would obviously be buzzed after going out to dinner. I always wondered if the drinking was the reason for the disconnect between him and Missy's parents. They just seem to barely tolerate him. The interactions betweeen him and her parents never seemed very deep.

Been watching DB on and off for a couple of years but have really grown to see through their BS now. It's sad how much they have changed. Can't help but hate watch more than anything now...

I have to start by saying... Finn is so stinkin' adorable. In my opinion, he is a very, very cute kid. Ollie went through a semi-cute phase (SEMI) but I have never really found him to be as adorable as Finn is. I hope Finn continues to grow into his cuteness!!!

I don't post here that often but thought it would be fun to join in to answer the question about when I started to watch them.

I found DB through Missy's channel when it was still Bumps Along the way and she was had a few videos up about her miscarriage of baby G. From there I started watching on and off of their DB channel and have watched them on and off ever since. They have definitely changed a lot, I see it mostly in Missy too, I remember one of their videos they were walking through the diaper aisle and she was gagging because disposable diapers smelled awful to her, she was definitely sanctimonious back then about being all natural, cloth diapering... blah blah blah but now. Well it's whatever to me, not my life.

I trashed nothing. I corrected the inaccuracy of Nancy being an alcoholic. That's not something that has ever been stated or even implied on the vlogs. That's not an "opinion". Facts and opinions are not the same thing.
Then I refuted the idea that being a frequent beer drinker means someone has a secret problem with alcohol.

Your theory of Bryan being an alcoholic may or may not be true. We don't know. Feel free to theorize and voice your opinions on that.

I'm just saying that I've seen nothing to substantiate your theory. Sorry that you feel you theories are being "trashed" because I fail to give the "evidence" you see the same credence as you.

It's been so long that I can't even remember how I found this site, I want to say it was part of GG I wish I could remember, I think I found DB because of the Mother's day video (at least that is when I started watching) and I think the true turning point was the pool test.

Hi new here to YTMD! Came here from time to time to read here and now decided to make an account! Started watching DB just before Missy got pregnant with Finn, encountering them through Bryan's clickbait BABY TRAPPED IN WATERPARK. I liked them, but right off the bat of watching them, I had a bad feeling about them! The first sign for me was the vast and extensive amount of toys Ollie had! I though it was just because its their first kid...but gosh never in my whole life had I seen ONE kid, especially for his age at the time, have sooo many toys! Now he gets toys almost everday! And not much educational ones. Does Ollie even know his alphabet? I don't ever remember him saying/singing it. I digress, when Finn's gender was reveled and how Missy reacted to it, plus her hopping that it was a mistake and really a girl. JUST BE HAPPY AND HOPE ITS A HEALTHY BABY! That all disgusted me, also how she before finding out would say she referring to the baby! Then came along the red flag of their unhealthy diet and how poorly pregnant Missy's diet was, them not preparing Ollie for being a big brother...Then I remember getting so ticked off when they brought Finn home, Ollie had loudly barked at him and then went on to spit on him! And what did B&M do? Laugh! Not sure if they even corrected him. Stopped watching them daily after that...its just so sad how people let money get to their head and seem to lose all morality. I feel so bad for Ollie, Finn, and their future kid(s) because of their careless parents. Finn will become the forgotten child, especially if they have a girl and Ollie will become the kid that nobody wants to hang around because of how spotlit he will be. I really don't want this to happen to them.

I imagine 20-30 years from now the studies and documentaries that will come out about how many kids of vloggers are messed up because of the many poor actions of their parents paying attention only to the camera and only doing things for the money. I'm not saying all the kids of family vlogging are going to be messed up, there are some vloggers who take the time to raise their kids to be well-behaved and good.

I really can't stand their minion fanbase of young kids. All time in the comments "like if you like Daily Bumps" or "I love Daily Bumps!" Sorry if this is super long...but I can't stand them!

I found Bryan and Missy from the very beginning. When they were still living in the converted garage. I remember them trying to come up with a channel name it was between Daily Bumps or Bumps Along The Way. They were way more down to earth back then and enjoyable. Missy used to buy hand me down baby clothes off craigslist in trash bags. I remember Bryan buying a dresser for Ollie off Craigslist. It ended up being in a bad area and I remember him making me laugh mentioning he should've brought somebody with him.

Even back then they ate out a lot not as much as now but more than the average person IMO. They would take turns cooking dinner for the entire family and cleaning the kitchen. Back then Missy did have a desk job at like the Chamber of Commerce. Bryan would bring her food to work often. Honestly he really didn't work much back then every so often he would have a little gig for photography. They would take Karma to the park often but Bryan didn't seem to like karma much back then either.

The first red flag was when they were still living in the garage. Another smaller YouTuber Twiddel...something.. the vegan girl accused him of copying her intro. She was accusing them of you taking her idea of using a specific fruit/vegetable for the intro of Missys bump dates. She actually has her own thread here and has posted about the situation. It was talked about among the original posters a lot here. Sorry I can't remember her channel name. Bryan and Missy handled the situation terribly right off the bat. In a way they did take her idea and they should've just given the girl credit. They refused and were petty and rude. True colors started shining through around that time and it just went downhill from that point. They are entitled, spoiled, lying, bragging brats and I hope one day I get to see all the success come crumbling down around them.

It took a while for them to even show up on this board and when they did it took off and never slowed down. I honestly can't even stomach to watch anymore because it makes me sick I'm contributing to them financially. So I just read here for updates.

Yeah, not trying to trash you either, and I don't defend them often, but him talking about puking all night was in relation to his stomach/gallbladder issue (aka his poor diet). Kind of silly to include that as evidence to your theory. I also don't think that "being buzzed after going out to dinner" is grounds for alcoholism, lol.

I'm sure that almost all of us here can be found guilty of making theories out of nothing/nitpicking from time to time, so don't feel like you're being put on blast for having a theory. But, if you don't want to have people tell you that you're wrong, then you might not want to take things out of context and present them as facts that go toward your theory. Not trying to be rude here, just adding my unsolicited 2 cents
