Couple of pages back, sorry guys. But that's exactly what it is - I've lived all over California, much of that in San Diego, and there's no comparison. Central Cali used to be a floodland in the summer, but the water was directed into reservoirs and canals so it isn't distributed in natural patterns. It's not unusual to see 95 degrees plus in SD but not many 114 degree days.
