It's hardly difficult to find , if Jess is posting all her personal stuff online it's got to be expected that people are going to find out things about you , with minimal effort.

The neighborhood looks utterly unappealing and the house looks ghetto on the outside and outdated on the inside. The kitchen is ugly as hell, and the bathrooms aren't any better. If I moved I could live with everything else because you can always paint over shit and you bring your own furniture, but these two things cost a lot of money to redo, which I doubt they have.

I'm surprised Chris hasn't tried to legally adopt Landen yet. I wonder if Drake would be ok with that. Probably not. He would actually have to sign all parental rights away. It's weird that he really doesn't seem to want anything to do with his sons yet I still don't think he'd actually relinquish parental rights.

He wouldn't have to pay child support either

Even though Chris is very close to Landen I would hope he would consider adopting Kyson and Kaden too. Imagine how the twins would feel if he just adopted Landen.

I'm thinking Drake DOES want to be in the boys' life more, even if it is just to stop getting bashed by Jessica's fans and his own family all the time. I do think he loves them and would prefer to see them more often and bond with them. He just doesn't want to bother with having to communicate with Jessica and potentially getting complained about more and more. That's a stupid reason, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the extent of his reasoning. Laziness.

Plus something I was thinking of is also that he and Natalie probably both have a full-time-ish work week? Adding 3 young children to look after seems difficult. The fact that Jessica is a stay-at-home mom and can just keep adding more children onto her pile doesn't mean other adults can casually do the same thing; Drake and Natalie would probably have to get babysitters or something like that. Not trying to justify him not seeing the boys at all, I just wondered whether or not that point had already been raised.

But yeah, if Drake did sign his rights over, it would not be okay for Chris to only adopt Landen and not Kyson and Kaden. I'm not sure if Jessica would try to justify it or if she would force him to also adopt them, but either way they'd be getting the short end of the stick.

No shade to anyone that lives in California / Modesto... maybe it's just the houses Jessica picks... but damn... They all have zero curb appeal. They genuinely look like drug houses to me and about as ghetto as you get. I never see houses like that where I live except in the extremely low income areas / halfway houses....

Thank you, I was thinking the same. Renting, yeah maybe, until you have saved up enough to actually buy a nicer house, but if this really is the house they've bought, dude! Her current house looks a lot better than that thing with the metal fence around it! Gonna be fun when the children get there to see it and they'll bump against that thing! I see a lot of ER trips in the future.No, I can't warm up to the idea of her being a home "owner", especially to this ugly thing! Sorry to anybody who lives like that, don't be offended, it's just...she could do better than that, especially if she would not act so rash all the time! Even if she managed to pay off every little bit, so the house really is hers/theirs, how much could she ever sell this for, doesn't look like it would be sold easily? The one with the fence is not their new house. I was looking for houses for sale in Modesto and saw one that I thought was Jess and Drakes old house that they were renting (that she tried to imply that they brought at the time) and was having a laugh about if she brought the house she lived in with with her ex husband.

However the house wasn't the house I thought it was, and the poster above gave a pic of what Jess and Drakes old house really looked like for clarification.

Does that house seem a bit overpriced? I can't believe that houses can be bought for less than half a million, I wish they were that cheap here. Even so, when you compare it to others that have sold in that area it doesn't look like a great deal.

A house in that bad of shape would be about 150,000 where im from. They are thinking they can just pull up the carpet and paint the walls and it will look brand new but no, that house needs a ton of updating.

I'm sorry but that is pathetic logic. It's too hard for him to communicate. That is just sad, he is a grown man who should see his children regardless of how hard it is to communicate. He can text for goodness sake so he doesn't even have to talk to Jessica and there is a paper trail. Besides Natalie had no problem communicating with Jessica when her and drake were broken up. I'm sure she could coordinate a pick up time, since she is drakes fiancee.
It's not too hard for drake, he is just selfish and doesn't want to.

With the weather there, and the entire summer to keep 7 kids busy, packing up and going to Mimi's everyday is going to be a pain in the ass. They used the pool like everyday last summer. I honestly like their current rental house better.. they totally jumped the gun and took the first house they could.

My question is....why in hell didn't they take the time to go ahead and replace the carpet and fix it up BEFORE moving in?? Seems like all they did was paint. It's gonna be a lot harder to replace the carpet and fixtures with them already living there. They should have done every thing they wanted to do to it before moving in. Just makes sense. Now how much you wanna bet it doesn't get done? Just like all the other things she says that never happen.

I'm hoping Jess focus on paying her house off in at least 5 years, and invest in a bigger one later, the kids will need their own space, if she puts 300k down, it'll be easier to pay the next one, considering YouTube isn't paying anymore, or her channel doesn't make a living, she could rely on Chris, or God knows, her next husband.

What's the point of paying off a house, if you don't plan on staying there longer then the payment lasts? You could stay in a rented house just as well then...I don't get it.

Equity. When you own your house and are paying a mortgage you are paying the house off, so when you sell the house you get that money back. So if you buy a house for $200,000 and sell it when you have $100,000 left you will get that $100,000 back from the sale of the house (Usually though you can sell a house for more than you paid for it especially if you have done work so if you sold it for $250,000 you would walk away with $150,000 (of course you have to pay lawyers/real estate fees) so you could put that money towards a bigger/more expensive house or if Chris and Jess were to get divorced they could sell/split the money and each walk away with a huge chunk of change (or if god forbid they needed the money for a medical emergency or something.) when you are renting for 10 years and then decide to move... you have nothing.We sold our first home after 5 years and had enough for a decent down payment on a bigger home as well as extra to put away for home repairs.

I love HGTV and am currently redoing a 1910 fixer upper so I look at her house and see SO MUCH POTENTIAL. but then I see how "Jessica" it is and think it will stay the same... the tile floors...
