Oh lord this is the age old "I have it worse than you so you can't feel bad" argument.
Yes, okay people share rooms. Some people don't like sharing rooms. That DOES NOT make people spoiled or ungrateful. People have different natures and personalities and what worked for some people work work for others holy shit.
The twins 100% won't mind sharing a room because yknow twins. They're always together and always have been and know no different. When they're older, maybe they'll want their own space, and that'll be super shit, but for now, no.
Landen has never even had his own bed, and yes Jesssss giving him a bed even in the twins' room will be amazing and so much better than what he had, but that doesn't change the fact there will be 3 boys stuck in one room (the rooms look TINY, if we got the right house) when there will be one lying empty for 90% of the year.
Nothing Jessssss does is ever going to please everyone but the whole "if you think it's bad to share a room means you're spoiled, how dare you complain about having a house" really pisses me off.

Or maybe you could get that stick out of your ass? I hope you never complain about anything in your life, because guess what? There's always someone who has it worse than you.whattheactual wrote:Don't say it if you don't mean it, cuz it's a disgusting thing to say. So many teens are homeless and would LOVE to be able to sleep in an acually room and bed, no matter who else was there. Kids should be greatful for what they have and not pity themselves for unnecessary things they don't have.dazzled wrote:Yes, I'm sure a 17 y/o not wanting to be stuck in a room with two younger siblings makes someone ungrateful or spoiled. The "rather be homeless" part is of course an exaggeration, but a smart cookie like you surely could have figured that out on their own.whattheactual wrote: And this is why there are so many ungreatful, spoiled brats in the world.
Also not to be petty, but it's grateful, not greatful.

That's one thing I do disagree with. That kid needs a bed. I don't care if they stick all 5 boys in one room (similar to the Duggars) but all the kids need a bed.bbygal wrote:Landon has never had a bed either.cjl123 wrote:Right? Did y'all ever see that movie The Blindside? When Leann asking him about having his own room and he answered he had never had a bed. Sharing a room with 2 siblings is not going to kill any of them. When they become teenagers they can have their "personal" time in the bathroom like thousands of other teen boys.

my ex is the youngest of 11, they all lived in a 4 bedroom house. all 4 boys were in one room. there's a 13 year difference between the oldest and youngest boy. room wasn't this big, either. twin mattresses on a homemade bed supported by plywood

Why would they change the room situations that they have now? They are going from a four bedroom to a four bedroom.

They may have figured out what works and what doesnt... Plus they have one more child then they did when they moved in. I know it is rare in Cali but what Jess really needs is a house with a basement. They could build 2 bedrooms down there and then have extra living space/toy room.mydietsucks_1 wrote:Why would they change the room situations that they have now? So, if they bought a two bedroom they could have
1 Master
2 Lilia
3 Addie and Landen
(or)
4 Landen/Twins
and then T&C in the basement and the twins could go down there as well when they are older

Ok I'll throw my opinion in the ring lmao
I didn't share a room , I would have hated it I am a very organised person, I used to keep my room immaculate, yeh I know it's not normal for a teen but whatever,
It would have driven me nuts having siblings going through my stuff /using my things.
Don't get me wrong I would share I have a big heart , my siblings often asked to borrow an item and I rarely refused,
However that was my choice, and I felt in control of my own things , and environment.
I am still a very tidy person , my sister is still messy , but a lot better now than then lol.
Basically I wouldn't like sharing, I liked having my own space where I could shut the door and study or watch a show etc .
