I've always found it weird that Jess never vlogs about any of her major life decisions before she makes them or while she is in the process of making them. It's always just all of a sudden "I'm in a new relationship!" or "I'm pregnant!" or "I'm moving!" or "I'm buying a house!" and I think that's pretty indicative of how her decision-making process is in real life. It's really her loss because vlogs like those (TTC vlogs, process of choosing and buying a house vlogs) probably could have brought in a lot of views.

That got a little off topic, but all I can say is I hope this house ends up being a good thing. Her kids deserve stability, and hopefully this means that they will not be moving annually anymore. I also wanted to add that I don't expect her to move across the country to live somewhere where the cost of living is lower. And if she did, everyone on this board would be complaining about how that's not fair to Gabe/Drake/Ashley.

TTC vlogs would be quite useless and boring with Jess, I totally imagine it: "well we want to have a baby so what we are doing is having sex this month and to get higher chance of getting pregnant quickly, we are not using protection even if I got pregnant twice while being on pills so I know stopping it is not necessary" end of the video and one month late we would have a "we are 4 weeks pregnant" video...

The girl has never struggled getting pregnant either it's more "I want a baby, here you go". She probably never had to TTC more then 2-3 months if that probably on her first try.

This is a picture of a kitchen in a house near me. Its listed at 650,000 but will probably go for more. The rest of the house is tiny. Im over here jealous as hell that you guys live in areas where housing is affordable.

MAN, it took SOOO long for me to catch up (my laptop died and it took me a week to fix it).

Anywho, super unpopular opinion, but I actually liked the blue carpeted stairs. I guess I'm impartial to it because the stairs at my home are also blue (a lighter tint of blue, but still blue).

I couldn't help but think about Lilia's room at Drake and Jess's apartment when she mentioned turning the closet into another bedroom. Guess we know what to expect within a few months.

I'm not going to comment on every single thing that happened in the week that I've been gone, but wow. That's all.

PS: I can't believe Landen is already THREE! He's such a cutie!

Maybe TTC vlogs were a bad example lol, but my point is there is never any lead-up to any of her huge life decisions. She rarely, if ever, discusses her planning process for these decisions, if there even is one. It shows that she's just as impulsive now at 24-25 as she was at 17.

My house in Texas was $160,000 including the half acre of land it is on. It is a 4 bedroom and 2.5 bathroom house (2 stories) and 2600 sq ft. In Texas I literally could've gotten an 8 bedroom for $300,000

I think the thing about Jess that baffles me most, is how she can't even acknowledge the fact that her life is a total disaster. Pregnant at 17, 5 kids by 3 different men in less than 7 years, married twice, can't live without a man for more than a few months, lived in 4-5 different homes in less than 7 years. Etc. Personally, I don't see that as something to be proud of or how anyone can see her as a role model.

Is there a reason why some of you think she can just abandon this home if/when she feels like it? lol she owns it now and houses aren't THAT easy to just sell and unload unless you're super open minded with what you're willing to take for it. Shit, it's not even that easy to get rid of a car you don't want (and still making payments on, duh) unless you're willing to be upside down. I know she doesn't have the best track record but I'm pretty certain that she's stuck with this home for at least the next several years. Then I could see them upgrading. And if they divorce, well then...I think their only options is to sell it and split the profit or refinance and get it just in her name (assuming they're both on the mortgage). Honestly the former seems more likely because I doubt he would force her and her brood to sell it and uproot their lives. I mean my parents had a nasty divorce and my dad still wasn't that heartless and psycho. Plus he'd still get some pay out from refinancing. Anyways lol my point was yea, it's not gonna be that easy for her to just up and move back to Mimi's like she's done in the past.

Has she said that this is their forever home? I would feel better if i thought it was just a starter home, and they will make some updates and resell it in a few years. We seem to forget she is only 24. A lot of 24 year olds are still living with their parents these days. Lol not that there is anything wrong with that.
