Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
I would never want to be there at that birth... Both Kelsey and Corbin are neurotic, entitled and anxious. Can you imagine? Poor nurses.

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
Corbin's probably taking a page out of Bryan's book around Finn's birth. "We saw 7 pounds of pure joy" anyone?

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
Based on the Instagram picture that Kelsey posted, it looks they haven't gone to the hospital yet. The picture looks like it was taken in their apartment.

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
Reminds me of the pic Bryan posted of them at the hotel when they were trying to get labor going again after Disneyland. They didn't meet Finn for another two weeks

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
I wonder if Missy jumped the gun and flew up there too early. Corbin and Kelsey never seem to have a clue about anything, so I wonder what they told Missy that got her to fly up so fast?? Kelsey could still go DAYS without June coming. Also, I wonder where Missy is staying? Hotel?

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
If it were me I wouldn't want my friend flying in like that. I'd want to experience the labor and birth with my husband and the friend can come after we've settled in at home. Those are really special moments and I'd just want to save it for my husband and I. Anyone else?

Eh, everyone's got a different preference I guess. When I was little I got to watch my mom have a couple of babies and both times she had myself and my other sisters, both grandmas, her sister and my dad there. I had always imagined that when I had kids one day I would have my mom and some other family with me, but instead we were living alone and it was just the two of us and I cried, I was so sad not having anyone there with me.Nothankyou wrote:If it were me I wouldn't want my friend flying in like that. Corbin just tweeted that it's ALMOST time to go to the birthing center. I wonder if she's been checked at all?
Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
I'm laughing at how in the beginning of the vlog she told everyone to back off about suggesting taking it easy because she knows her body best and climbing a thousand steps is what she felt she should do. Then by the end of the vlog she just wants to relax. Think maybe her midwife told her to chill out? Sounds like June will be here within a day to me.
Also, I agree with a couple other posters about letting labor start on its own unless there's a medical reason to get it going. All that stair climbing and red raspberry leaf tea plus whatever else might just draw out her labor unnecessarily. I don't get why drinking tea is totally fine but medical intervention is not. It's weird to me where she draws the line.

It's really nice having another person in the labor room other than your partner.
My first birth it was just my husband and mother in law. I live 5,000 miles from my family, so I was pretty nervous.
Second birth it was my husband, mother in law and my doula.

Right?? Intervening is intervening. If it's time for baby to come they will come no matter what. Trying to get things going just makes the whole process take longer.westwuff wrote:I'm laughing at how in the beginning of the vlog she told everyone to back off about suggesting taking it easy because she knows her body best and climbing a thousand steps is what she felt she should do. I kinda got the impression that the rant about relaxing was kinda throwing shade at Mithy. At least that's who came to mind for me at least

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
In today's vlog they tried like six flavors of ice cream in one sitting. I have to wonder if they buy and eat food because they are bored. When I have been unemployed for long periods of time I went out to different restaurants or just grocery shopping to cure my boredom.

I didn't watch, but didn't he tweet that the vlog was going to be "interesting"? Meaning something was happening birth-wise...fossilfinger wrote:In today's vlog they tried like six flavors of ice cream in one sitting. Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
I think that was meant to refer to the clickbait title: "I'M IN LABOR!!!" They also ate ice cream and walked around in the rain and didn't do much else.lmmomSD wrote:I didn't watch, but didn't he tweet that the vlog was going to be "interesting"? Also, maybe I'm wrong, but didn't she say only Corbin will be in the delivery room?

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
I wonder if Missy was invited so they could have a free photographer. I know that is Bryan's thing but they are closer to Missy and she is so desperate for attention and friendship that she would jump at the chance to help them out. I am sure her being there comes with plenty of monetary perks like extra views, new subs from DB, food, sending her out for little things they forgot...

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
Corbin updated that she's still in labor...but nothing about if they're at the birth center, timing of contractions, etc. So not much of an update at all.
