One major cause of sleep apnea is obesity which your little "chunkers" Addie seems to already be suffering from.

Please get that baby to a specialist. I wouldn't be surprised if other health issues are going to pop up with that baby. The older we get the lower quality our egg (female) and sperm (male) gets as a human being. There's no telling if her DNA mixed with his could possibly bring up genetic disorders.

Also you can have sleep apnea diagnosed without a sleep study! I know because that's how I was diagnosed at 9 years old.

I'm going to pray for Addie and Jesssssssssssssssssss please advocate for birth control and why not taking it leads to poor parenting choices.

Unsure if joking or actually believes infant central sleep apnea is caused by "baby obesity"....

I know I was wondering the same thing is this a joke? Babies cannot be obese, having a baby with rolls is a good thing, especially a breastfed baby. Also, what does being old have to do with anything? Jess is in her early 20's infant most people born the same year as her are not even married yet or just married , starting their careers and trying to get their lives in order. Kids are not on their mind or just starting to be on their mind and they are having their first. Is this a teenybopper who made that comment? It just seems very irrational and uneducated.

I made the comment. Jesssssssssssssssssss saying sleep apnea has no cause is what I was getting at. I did lay the sarcasm on tthick now everyone is going wild over breastfeeding (I never brought that up) and obesity which is a cause of sleep apnea.

If Jess tries to write this experience off as freak accident by saying neither she not Chris have sleep apnea which means Addie shouldn't is false unless they've had genetic testing done.

Okay guys. I think I need to clear something's up about sleep apnoea. I am a PICU nurse and cared for lots of kids who apnoea. There are 2 main types in children. Central and obstructive sleep apnoea. Central is due to the brain not sending messages to the lungs that it needs to breathe. Usually cause by an immature brain (I.e. a babies brain), some sort of septic infection or a genetic disorder. There are different types of central sleep apnoea disorders but won't go into that. Obstructive is mostly due to oversized toncils and adenoids. Usually picked up when babies snore in their sleep. Babies can be obese (think 10kg 16 week old) but it is very rare and only seen when parents breast and formula feed or again genetic or syndrome issues). Hope this clears up the difference. Xx

Maybe he's on the spectrum (has Jess mentioned him being looked at?) as I've seen Jess seems to be more worried of him getting upset and most of the twins presents are catered to him. But it's also possibly between the kids he's the most sensitive and he's figured out like Lilia to get mom's attention is to be loud, act cute and talk babyish. As well as the fact he's witnessed and gone through a lot at a young age he may not know how to express himself.

Between the twins he had a harder time adjusting to Drake leaving, then moving out of his familiar home to Mimi's, then with Landen as he cracked it when his first time meeting him was Landen eating away on his precious nah nahs. Then a new daddy, three more new siblings- that kid has had a roller coaster 5 years.

Sleep apnea has nothing to do with a child's weight my prem baby who only weighed 1.8kg had sleep apnea and it is scary AF
