My doctor does delayed vaccinations... He wont give more than two shots at once but it just means we see him more often. They still start vaccinations at 2 months. I dont really understand waiting until 2 because there are 6 other kids bringing god knows what into Jess' house. Plus, they take babies everywhere. Pretty sure Landen had been to Disney before he was two. Beating a dead horse because this convo could go on for forever but honestly I think Jess just does that because she read it on google once.

Jess probably delays their vaccinations because she thinks it sounds smarter. She wants to vaccinate, but she also wants to sound "educated" and "crunchy" so she decided she knows better than the doctors on when is best to vaccinate.

Yeah, I live in California and it is law for children to be fully vaccinated before entering kindergarten. I delay vaccines with my son which just means he doesn't get 4-5 shots per visit and instead 1 or 2. I started him at 2 months and he always got the most important ones on time like the DTaP and MMR, but others like Hep B he still hasn't had yet. He is almost 2 and is about 80% caught up and will probably be fully caught by 2.5 then he will be on a normal schedule. He has had 3 pediatricians since birth and all of them have said that the delayed schedule is preferred, but most parents find it more convenient to get them all done at the same time.

I think a lot of people like to group us delayed vaxxers with the anti-vaxxers, and I hate that. I believe vaccines work and are necessary, but it just makes me nervous to give so many at once to such a small baby. That is why I like to wait a little. I don't think it is a huge deal that Jessica delays vaccines either even though she delays a lot longer than I'd feel comfortable with, at least she will get them done and we know by 5 her kids will be caught up.

Jess does the delay because she thinks it's trendy/crunchy. She probably read an article or two and looked up the delay vaccines hashtag on ig and that was it. Her mind was made up. She's obviously not very bright. I'm not against delayed vaccines if the research has been done. But in Jesss case...a quick hashtag search and a look at a few quick point information memes about was sufficient.

I'm on my second pregnancy (first was a MC) and I'm planning on doing a delayed schedule also. I've been thinking about starting at 6 months. It does make me nervous having babies so small getting so many shots at once. I had some pretty severe reactions to a few vaccines when I was younger so my pediatrician put me on a delayed schedule (1 shot at a time) so they could pinpoint what exactly I was allergic to. And that was in the 90s! Delayed schedules aren't a new thing. I hate being compared to anti-vaxxers.

Edit but Lilia's room is so small, it will be tight in there when Addie will move in eventually.

OK. So I'm at the point with Jessica where I'm having trouble noticing the positives in her videos. I think it's great that the kids have their own rooms, although I do wonder where T&C will sleep, and Addie when she's older. I love that Gabe does things like the father daughter dance with Lilia. I thought I was sweet seeing Chris out with the boys buying their T-ball gear.
But her kids are just so damn annoying. Lilia dancing around while her teachers were talking made me so mad, if that was my child I would've been furious and I can guarantee my husband would have scolded her to stand still and be patient. The boys running through the store is something we see all the time, but still so rude.
My husband is military, we move every few years and my kids love seeing the new house. I would never let them run shrieking through the halls like that.
There is just zero discipline in their family and it's so maddening to watch

Jess' personality seems so fake and forced in all of her videos now, it seriously makes me cringe. She's trying to so hard to be one of those popular, peppy and likable youtubers but she's coming off as a fake airhead. No Jess, your life and everything surrounding it comes off as a complete train wreck still with your out of control kids, creepy husband and cramped home. Also, discipline your kids FFS. No one finds it cute or funny that your kids are bouncing off the walls and don't listen. Lilia's "sassy" attitude is more annoying than anything. And would it kill you to tell your kids to tone it the fuck down? All that screaming, my God.
Okay, rant over. I guess I have a bit of an attitude today cuz that vlog annoyed me more than usual. Lol
