Poor Brooks! Sick babies are the worst. I hope MG isn't getting it too! Katie said that MG's temp was 99.something, under her arm. Is it old school info that you add a degree for temps under the arm? So was it really more like 100.something?

They really have the cutest kids. I think you are right you add a degree. Cullen is really funny at the end. I wonder if spring break will include other YouTubers?

I wasn't sure if that was antiquated thinking with the temps or not.. Cullen did have me cracking up at the end too. I hope no other YTers are involved with the spring break plans. I'm thinking no since they don;t seem to have concrete plans yet. I hate when Lumps or E&J are around ugh

And is it old school to subtract a degree when it is taken rectally?

I'd like to weigh in on the depression/clutter discussion, for what it's worth. Warning that what follows is mostly personal, so please disregard if that bothers you. As someone who has dealt with depression off and on (mostly on) for 10 years, I can completely attest that it tends to manifest itself in disorganization/clutter. Personally, one of the first signs that I am starting to sink back into depression, is a lack of keeping things orderly. Yes, it comes from laziness, but the laziness comes from lack of motivation, which stems from depression.

Of course there are naturally messy people that may not be disorganized due to mental illness, and that is just the way they prefer to live life, but judging by what C&K (mainly K) had to say in the livestream, it appears that their clutter does stem from depression. With this, I think it is important to remember that there is a fine line between blaming/making excuses for the clutter, and recognition of what their clutter is stemmed from. I tend to see them in a positive light, so I may be slightly biased, but I took their words more as realization/admittance, rather than making excuses. I too hope that they will seek professional help, and judging by their livestream, I don't think that is reaching or making a generalization.

Rant over - sorry to interrupt the Gaines conversation, just felt that needed to be said!

I don't believe they need professional help. They've stated that they have difficulty throwing things away, but I don't think that warrants professional help in their case. I think 4 pregnancies in four years have taken their toll on Katie more than anything. I don't think it is a problem to put spending quality time with your children before cleaning out closets and keeping your house neat as a pin. I'd always choose to spend time with my little ones. As long as I kept my home reasonably clean, that was enough for me. There is time to clear out the junk once they start going to school. They are only little for such a short while. Not everyone's priority is to keep their house spic and span at all times. As far as feeling a bit guilty about spending as much time with Brooks as they feel they should and as they want to, I think that is normal after your first child. Moms often feel guilty when there really is no need to. Brooks gets plenty of attention from C&K, and MG too. He's a happy fellow.

Sorry DO: Having said that, I'd like to spend more time with Brooks. I feel like I'm missing out to some extent. But I do appreciate Katie as an experienced mom, rather than as an anxious new mom.

It is not my favorites seeing this group get together, but I think they get quite a few cross-over views/subscribers which helps Cullen and Katie's channel. So, I am mixed on this one. However, it seems E+J are busy with new friends these days...

I think you may be misunderstanding me, so I'd like to clarify. I don't think they need professional help because they have difficulty throwing things away. And, I'm not saying "they need professional help" in the rude, stigmatized way that it is often said. I am saying it in a genuine way, because, judging by the strong emotions Katie still carries with her, and her admittance that the miscarriages have affected other aspects of her life, I think it would benefit her/them to talk with someone and develop an outlet/better coping methods. My point was that I think the clutter and disorganization in their case, seems to be spawned from deeper emotional wounds, therefore I think they would benefit from a little extra help.

And, I'd like to add - there's nothing wrong with or negative about seeking extra emotional support. Heck, even 100% emotionally stable people can benefit from it in some aspect. To me, it just seems silly to look at someone who is holding onto 4 year old pregnancy tests, saying they could bawl about it for hours, and has admitted that their emotional wounds affect multiple aspects of their life wouldn't benefit from professional help because they have "admitted they have a hard time getting rid of things".

I hope I'm not coming off as sounding aggressive; I hate how words over the internet can sometimes be taken that way. I honestly am saying this with genuine and kind intentions. To each their own, of course, but I just wanted to clarify my original post to ensure what I said doesn't end up getting misconstrued. :)

Just want to add, they have had professional help in decluttering. They had that Schmorganizing lady come and do their kitchen and bedroom/closet. Not the same as a therapist to help let go of the past, but at least she got them started.

^^^I don't disagree with you, I actually agree with you. I am sorry for the misunderstanding. I thanked you for your post because it was thoughtful and made a lot of sense to me. I believe you were very kind and compassionate. I've suffered with anxiety and deppession myself and it does affect the way I relate to my belongings. I form attatchments and have difficulty letting things go. I have sought professional help when needed. However, while seeing a professional may help Katie, I do not believe she is in such a state that she NEEDS professional help. They aren't living in filth, they had the help of a professional organizer to tackle the master bedroom closet and the kitchen. They let some stuff pile up in other closets and the garage, but I think part of that stems from having other priorities. As far as the pregnancy tests go, and having a good cry, I think that was good for her. And while she says she could cry all day, she hasn't. I've not had a loss like that and I do not know how I would cope. But even a day crying years later, while coping and living life all the other days, may prompt me to think about professional help, I don't know that it would mean I NEED it. There is a difference. Seeing a psychologist costs several hundred dollars for a 50 minute hour these days. It may be helpful, but not required. Like another poster stated, she seemed to be having a good adult boo hoo which is normal enough. Things happen in life that are out of our control and it changes our outlook, and often we have changes in behavior too. It seems pretty normal to me. She seems to be functioning well enough and finding joy in life. I wouldn't hesitate to suggest professional help if she weren't. I hope you understand that we are basically in agreement as far as I can see.

Two things in today's vlog:
1) Crazy cute how a barely even 8 months Brookes knows how to play peekaboo
2) More healthy eating for lunch: Takeout McDonalds
I see NapTubers everywhere :coffee:

The trips to McDonald's are product placements.

Looks like their house is finally on the market. I'd be a little worried about being so open about selling the house as online personalities. It is SO easy to find the listing. I can imagine "fans" showing up to an open house just to take selfies inside. I hope they don't have to deal with anything like that and their house sells quickly.

I don't think it will be a problem. Their address is so easy to find anyway. It only takes a couple of seconds to addresses for their entire family.

I have to admit, all that decluttering and staging really paid off. The pictures in the listing look amazing. Let's hope any offer they get reflect the hard work they put in.

If that's true (do C&K say it anywhere?) I guess even McD's have noticed their eating habits lol.

They aren't saying it, but it looks like they've worked out a deal much like Bryan and Missy's McDonald's placements. They aren't the only ones doing it. Notice how they go every couple of weeks. They make sure to show the entire happy meal. Sometimes they make sure to play with the happy meal toy. B&M have been working with them since last year. C&K's deal just started recently. April and Justin's deal required an Instagram post and they disclosed that it was an ad. GabeandBabe seem to have a deal like B&M's.
