Honestly, I really don't think Jess and Chris will break up for quite a while. Don't get me wrong, of course their relationship isn't working. Jess clearly doesn't really love him, but she's currently content to fake it for the sake of having a happy family. With the marriage, baby, and now house, this is the most stable Jess has ever been, and I think deep down she knows it's never going to get better than this. If she stays with Chris, she won't have to share custody of Princess Addie, she can afford her mortgage, and her sons get to grow up with a man in their daily lives. But if they break up? Suddenly she's a single mom of five children again, and moving back into the duplex is becoming less and less of an option as her kids get older. Let's be real, Jess knows that she'll never find a sane man willing to date a 25 year old with five kids from three different fathers.

I really feel like even if she isn't happy, Jess is gonna stick with Chris for a while. She's gotta know her options are extremely limited.

Agree, but I think extra marital affairs are gonna happen again from either side. Jess seems to be googly eyeing any sort of male that isn't Chris.

Is it wrong that I feel like Jess would use Landen against Chris if they got a divorce? Obviously, Chris loves Landen like his own son but he has not parental rights and so Jess could very well make them never see each other again if they broke up. Might be the deciding card on how Advertisement's custody will play out!

Just a quick note about fathers getting a babysitter in Family Court I was told if they parent can't watch the child's let's say on Saturday because of work th care goes to the next parent automatically they don't have to take it but they have that right to take their child and not have them with a babysitter while the other parent works just saying

It's speculation, we mostly just know what Jesss chooses to share in order to paint the picture she wants.

FWIW from a psychological and wellbeing POV it was better for the boys to go home after an overnight at Drakes and becoming upset. Overnights are hard on young children no matter how close they are to the non resident parent, and who knows what Jessss says and does in regards to Drake and how that might affect the twins. Drake being aware of their needs and getting them home is more conducive to building long term relationships and trust than forcing them to stay there. It still took Jesss 4 hours to get to her distressed child which is hardly reassuring for them. With the fights between Jesss and Drake the kids will feel that anxiety and tension, whereas Jesss controls mimi and her family and the boys lived by mimi so naturally the boys would feel more comfortable with her.

I don't see why it was ok for Gabe to take 4 years to get a grip. Isn't Drake just a year older than Gabe? Yet Gabe apparantly did nothing for those 4 years that Drake stepped in, stayed up with the kids at night, provided for and cared for lilia who called him dad, and didn't he do housework and worked? Drake had an unstable upbringing, but has a job and a home. He had a short seperation from his girlfriend but has continued to work, provide for them and evidently see's the boys (how much we don't know). The common problem in both these situations was Jessss who chose to use these men for their sperm and to play happily families when neither of them wanted it.

Of course the children should go home, when they start getting homesick, nobody would question that. Still, it shows how much of a bond they have with him, clearly he seems more like the caretaker, than the fatherfigure, which in turn makes Jess statements a little more credible.

I think why people don't give Drake the exact same amount of time to become a real father is because of the other stupid shit he has done in between. He left twice without warning, cheated "a lot", didn't help move anything for his heavily pregnant wife, shaved and accidentely cut his kids heads "because he can" and apart from the shaving incident everything he did affected Lilia the same as it did the twins. If you take the amount of time they were seperated into account he didn't take care of Lilia for 4 years. I'd say that's enough fuck-ups to learn something from and grow up. Neither Gabe, or Chris had close as many fuck-ups with Jess, but they were quicker in managing their life than Drake.

I don't see her and Chris breaking up any time soon. I think they are at a point beyond whether they're in love or not. With that many kids between the two of them, a mortgage, responsibilities like that.. it just doesn't make even remote sense to break up. Are they in love? I don't know. Those moments come and go. Marriage is about a lot more than feeling the high school butterflies. I hope and think they both know that by now.

I feel like sometimes how kids turn out has nothing to do with stable but instead a loving family life.

My older sister was raised by her dad in a stable home with a mom and step siblings and such from the outside their family looked great. But there wasn't much family time and their definition of love was buying things for her.

Meanwhile, me and my two younger siblings were raised by my parents. We moved every 2-3 years, never had money, my sister and I shared a bedroom most of our lives, but we never doubted our parents love. We did things together as a family all the time. From the outside, our family looked not so great.

As adults, my younger siblings and I have a much better life than my older sister, who jumped the bones of any man who would buy her things.

I totally agree , look at military families that move around, or people move a lot for work , their kids do just fine ,
Some do better their kids can adapt and make friends easily,
As long as a child has a comfortable home , a good friend and parents that adore them , and spend time and energy doing things and making them feel special they'll be just fine imo

I think it's really nice how all the families (minus drake and nat) have came together. Like, Landon openly runs to Gabe and Amber and doesn't mind being with them, the twins and Logan are super close even though he's only Lilia's stepbrother. Even T&C and Logan appear to have an okay relationship? And then in today's vlog at the baseball game, Jessss pointed out Logan to Mimi and Mimi seemed genuinely interested and looked for him. Obviously when you start looking at it as "oh x is y's stepbrother but y's stepbrother is Z who isn't anything to x" it looks like a mess, but the kids seem to all be fine and enjoy having each other around.

I imagine it'll get better in the teen years too, like if Kyson and Kaden have a falling out, they'll be equally able to confide in Logan, etc. To adults it looks like a total mess and I can see and acknowledge that, but for the kids I don't think that's the case

Really off topic, sorry, but what is Kaden saying to Kyson here: ? All I can hear is French but I highly doubt he's randomly speaking another language. I realise it's really not important at all but I can't get my brain to hear anything else and it's frustrating me no end!

Also, why is Jessica's brother saved as 'brother' in her phone? Is that weird? I feel like that's weird?

Also, I don't want to be one of those "lol America is so different to my country" people but I find this whole singling people out in restaurants when it's their birthday really quite hilarious! That whole song and dance all the waiting staff did for Landen's birthday made me giggle so much and then getting the whole restaurant to cheer for Jessica in this vlog too. I'm so glad I never had to do anything like that when I waited on!

It's so weird that the age Mimi is now was the age my Mum was when I was 15. It's weird that she was so ecstatic being a young grandmother when my Mum would have been devastated if I got pregnant when she was 50.

If I got pregnant when my mom 50 (I was 20), my mom wouldn't have been devastated, she would have killed me then be devastated xD I agree, I always found Mimi's reaction to Jess' pregnancies really weird, I normally expect any parent whose child gets pregnant young to be -at least- angry and disappointed when they learn about it...

But it also seemed like she did it out of the fact that everyone else was like ' you're always pregnant, what's fucking new?'

Keep in mind that Wendy and now Jess is repeating the cycle of the women on their side of the family- keep being positive and avoid reality.

I guess, because when I saw this video, I imagine my mom's reaction so even if Mimi was disapponted (I am too lazy to re-wathed her reaction) I remember being surprised by the lack of "vocal" disappointed, I mean I am not lying when I say my mom would have destroyed me in that happened to me xD but I expected Jess' mom to vocally said something like "well that's not good, you're too young", expeciallynbecause Wendy lived the same situation, she should have work hard to teach her daughter not to do the same (which she didn't do) and she could have tried to teach Jess not do do it again which didn't happens either... But unfortunatly, I feel like Jess won't do much to teach her daughters not do the same when they are teenagers and that sucks!

I don't want to know what was going trough Mimis head when Jess told her she was pregnant again. Not only collegewise, but imagine your daughter tells you that BC failed her and she's pregnant at 17. That sounds believeble, but within 2 years your daughter is back, telling you again that BC failed her and she's pregnant by her new boyfriend. There must have been so many question on her mind, why she didn't take better precautions, why so soon after her first child, she hardly knows her current boyfriend, no college, no job. Or maybe she might have had the slightest suspision that Jess was not faultless in this, maybe it was not on purpose, but that Jess might just have been careless in taking her pills. Mimi is a push over, so she just gave in, but I don't think that she believed Jess entirely when she told her her dumb BC-story the second time.

I think it will all turn to shit when the money runs out. Unless Jess has another kid or runs in to some other kind of drama her channel is in terminal decline. No one will watch weekly updates to see what her school-aged kids are doing. That money is going to run out just when the kids are getting expensive. The stress level in that house must already be close to unbearable - throw in money problems and I can't see how anyone could stand it.

I think out of everybody amber and gabe have the best chance of staying together. They're 25 and engaged which is a really fair age they've been together I think about two years before he proposed which is a good amount of time they haven't brought any children in this world together and they seem to have Blended Lilia and Logan well they're both working and bringing money into the household. I don't see any obvious problems like I do with Jess and Chris or Drake and Natalie
