Throwing your kid a birthday party is bare minimum parenting, but great to brag about on your girlfriend's social media. The fact that he's not going to their games is more telling to me, because Drake plays and enjoys baseball himself, so you'd think he'd want to be there to see his sons play. And if he was then you know we'd see it all over Natalie's instagram to try and prove that he's dad of the year.

I feel the opposite, I think it's much easier to go sit at a game for an hour than throwing a birthday party.

to be fair Natalie didn't post the birthday party all over social media, she just shared it on her private facebook. She hasn't posted pictures of the boys on instagram since Christmas even though there's evidence they've seen them since then.

Exactly. Planning birthday parties takes a lot of time and money.

birthday parties are much more personal too, you don't have to sit in the crowd that's made up of your ex wife's family. not defending his choices (my parents are divorced and sat together at all my games) just saying, I wouldn't want to sit through Jesss passive aggressiveness while the boys are playing. Landen sitting with Chris or fussing when Drake holds him would probably send her over the moon with excitement lol

Honesty people here have such a deep hatred for him he could pay all the child support and see them only one weekend a month when he ant working and people will still hate on him. I don't like him at all but at least she threw them a party that's a start. He can make pull a 360 and be super involved and people will still hate because of what happened in the past. With that logic then the same goes for jess. Being in a stable (for her) relationship and buying her first house is a good start but people still bitched about it. Same thing with Chris, no one gives him a chance even though he has a past. So Why should anyone cut drake some slack? I feel like it's the opposite of what you said on here. Like people hate jess so much they'll excuse anything drake does. For example Several people weren't willing to give Gabe the benefit of the doubt that he doesn't take Lillia more because of his work schedule but now some people (don't know if it's the same posters) are saying drake possibly doesn't go to the games because of his work schedule. Lol Idk the hypocrisy is just so real on this thread sometimes.

Now that being said I semi agree with you that he could still change but it needs to be consistent. This is the first birthday party he's thrown for one of the boys and the twins are about to be 5. So, he can't just act like he gives a shit once in a while because I think that's more damaging. I also think it's too early to judge whether or not he'll show up for the twins games. However, I don't think he went to a single game last year so that says a lot already.

I also want to say that it's such a cop out for people to keep saying "well she shouldn't of had kids with him if he's such a deadbeat". Welp unless someone has a time machine they'd like to let jess borrow then I don't even see the point in what you're trying to say. The kids are here now. If he absolutely doesn't want to step up for them (not saying he doesn't) then he should sign over his rights. It's 1000% her fault for picking him as her baby daddy but it's not anyone's fault but his for how he chooses to play that role.

Also, I feel like drake needs to make a decision on weather he wants to be in their lives or not. If he does great, then he needs to start showing up consistently, taking them when he is supposed to etc. I truly believe that if he were to showing up every time he was supposed to for a long period of time, and showed consistency and effort, Jess would give him more time so she could be alone with princess addie. But if he really doesn't want to be involved then he needs to just stop seeing them all together. In my option, it would be more damaging for them to see him a couple times a year, on and irregular schedule, than for him to be gone for good.

Well three years he's been MIA, three almost four years he was active in the boys and Lilia's lives. Frankly I believe if he never cheated I think a lot of people would speak of him like they speak of Gabe.

Drake only does things when it's convenient for him, like throwing a birthday party. When it's on someone else's schedule, like the baseball games, he doesn't bother to show up. I think that says a lot. Even if he couldn't show up in person, he could at least Facetime the boys or send them a card in the mail or something (or maybe he does and we just don't see it). It just seems like he puts in the minimum amount of effort possible.

Im so biased because I dislike Jess so much and I dont trust a word that comes out of her mouth. Im willing to give Drake the benefit of the doubt re the baseball games because even if he did show up when he could, we wouldnt hear about it from Jess.

Also, she hasnt complained in a while that he hasnt been showing up which leads me to believe that when he has time, he takes them.

Since we're on the drake conversation I decided to watch an old video of jesssss in 2011 when she was trying to convince her minions that she didn't get pregnant with Landon on purpose it was a mistake and basically drake is a scumbag but I couldn't help but stare at her ugly ass eyebrows the whole time.
