Bc shes been coddled her entire life. Shes always had mommy, daddy and her siblings to wait on her hand and foot. She's never had to get out and do anything on her own. Shes completely co dependent. She is unable to do the simplest tasks alone. I was actually quite surprised at how she handled herself in Portland. Hell Miss Forgetful changed rooms every day and managed it fine, so i also feel like its an act to an extent. She thinks it's cute and endearing to look helpless, which is one reason why i think shes so obsessed with Disney.... Re: DailyNeglectfulParenting (Part 83)
Does anyone else think that Missy and Tal were a package deal for the kandee thing? The Johnson's channel isn't that big is it? I can see her colabing with Missy, bc like it on not they have a large following. But tal too? I feel like they contacted Missy, and she was too freaked out by the thought of doing something like this alone that she insisted Tal be a part of it too. Wonder what would have happened if June had been a few days later? Would Missy have dropped the Kandee filming to be at Kelsey's side or would she have postponed the trip until filming was done...????
Re: DailyNeglectfulParenting (Part 83)
I think that theory is very plausible. Though, it makes me wonder why she prefers Belle...just because Bryan was a "beast"? Because Belle was a well-read, tough, feminist princess lol. Yeah, a little helpless when she was trapped by a terrifying beast (I mean...who wouldn't be?) but still sassy and determined.Playsinrain wrote:Bc shes been coddled her entire life. Missy is more like...Snow White, except without the cooking and the cleaning. With the mentality of Rapunzel before leaving the tower.

I think you are right, it's the symbolism in Beauty and the Beast that draws her in. She is Snow white, and thats exactly who i thought of.. 7 people doing her housework? Sounds about right,.tintin15 wrote:I think that theory is very plausible. Though, it makes me wonder why she prefers Belle...just because Bryan was a "beast"? I think her worship of Belle makes perfect sense she acts and sells that she is this independent, strong woman online. Their fans don't know the difference. But we see how she really is an immature, self centered, selfish, uneducated child with no common sense. Not even trying to be mean, but both of them have a big ol pretend life online and it is so transparent.

Re: DailyNeglectfulParenting (Part 83)
I have relatives and some friends that act like this. They are the same ones who are always talking about being a Christian and that being a SAHM was their dream online and always have a finger to point at others cuz Jesus. They are also the ones who put down women underhandedly for working or being single parents while promoting a phony perfect life online. Yet they complain all the time and need constant attention. All you have to do is look at how miserable they really are and you almost feel sorry, but not really.Playsinrain wrote:Bc shes been coddled her entire life. To give missy SOME credit, she did fly alone two times the past month or so.tintin15 wrote:She's always been dependent on somebody. Not to mention, her upbringing was probably VERY sheltered and very "women need a man to be safe/women are the cause of anything bad that happens to them/etc" so she probably partly has that fear drilled into her brain. She never tried to do anything on her own, too. She lived with her family, immediately got married, went back to her family (I believe) after the divorce, then was married again. She's always had her family, Bryan, now Tal...it's not really her fault. Hell, always having to be dependent could have given her anxiety about being alone.sarahelizabeth_1 wrote:I wish I could send Missy a dictionary and thesaurus. I'm not a very dependent person, but I am very fearful/anxious, so doing things alone is very nerve-racking for me, but not to the extent it is for Missy. Missy honestly seems like she might need therapy...I mean, does she even go to the store alone???

Re: DailyNeglectfulParenting (Part 83)
Exactly. She did just fine in Portland. She ran around a strange city, got errands run, cooked real food, and was hands on with the baby. Bryan and her family obviously reward the ditzy behavior. Didn't she get totally coddled when she got back from her traumatic Boise trip? But their wasn't any percentage in acting that way in Portland. There wasn't anyone who could wait on her.Playsinrain wrote:Bc shes been coddled her entire life. Shes always had mommy, daddy and her siblings to wait on her hand and foot. I told other in this post too - do yourself a favor, and do not work crazy hours or you will burn out. You need family time, and time to just unwind. Good luck with student teaching if you haven't done it yet! It's a fun experience
Aw thanks! I love my kiddos so much! I can't believe more people don't want to be in the field. It is SO rewarding seeing them succeed! Yes, it can be challenging, but the reward is just so worth it. Every day is a new experience working with them. You sound like a very involved mom, which is great! The more support from home, the better kiddos are.

Yes, a three year old will understand that he can color on the walls, but just this once. Parents of the year, guys. Wow.
Re: DailyNeglectfulParenting (Part 83)
Did.... Bryan get his eyebrows waxed?
Also N O to this makeup. The eyeliner looks horrible, and her brows still aren't done right.

Okay. He's almost 4 and yes, I think he should be able to understand the difference between doing something once for fun, and not doing it all the time.bffb3 wrote:Yes, a three year old will understand that he can color on the walls, but just this once. Parents of the year, guys. Wow.
Also I've come to the conclusion that Missy does all he disciplining. You could see it as soon as Ollie stepped off that little sheet by the wall that she corrected him.

How does Ollie know such graphic language?!? Oh, I don't know, maybe it's the steady diet of PG-13 movies he watches when you plop him down in the playroom all the time Give the kid some Sesame Street or something!
The drawing on the walls thing was ridiculous. He is never going to understand that it's a one-time thing for filming, and that they have painters coming in to cover it. I will laugh so hard when he colors all over their fancy million dollar house and Restoration Hardware furniture because it was ok that one time Not that it will matter, because Mr. and Mrs. Moneybags will just hire someone to repaint, instead of correcting Ollie and helping him understand what he did wrong. (Or...it will be an excuse to redecorate completely. Not that they ever need one!)
I wonder if the photo shoot is for a toy channel for Ollie? Seems like it was mostly for shots of him. I still just can't imagine him having a toy channel at this point - I still can barely understand what he's saying, and what I do understand, I have to really work to make it out (and even that's after having watched him for a couple years). A toy channel would just be a garbled mess.

I agree that he is definitely at an age where he is capable of understanding...I just don't think they will bother to explain it to him.whys0seri0us wrote:Okay. I guess I don't see the huge issue with the coloring on the wall thing. Ollie is perfectly capable of understanding that they are doing this for the purpose of filming something and that it's not okay to do any other time. As long as they explain that well enough.

bryan is so fucking scared of oliver not seeing him as a friend anymore, so he doesn't correct him when he does something he shouldn't.
he is regina george's mother.
i would photoshop bryan's head into this, but i cannot be bothered, so just imagine it.
