Not to be totally out there with my gender ideas, but why couldn't Ollie have the Belle bear?????
I doubt he picked out Beast because he doesn't CARE about Beauty and the Beast...but they could have given him both the Beast and Belle. It was nice to get something for the cousins (? I can't remember lol), but still. I stand by thinking they refuse to let him play with girly things outside of that kitchen that he never plays with. He liked Frozen for .3 seconds and I think they only ever got him Olaf stuff.
Did Finn get anything? The honor of seeing Ollie get a toy?

Re: DailyNeglectfulParenting (Part 83)
OH, GUYS, did anyone notice how precisely does their intro show them in the real way? I mean look at this piece
Oliver eats all the candy Bryan and Mithy gave him so that he behaves like a good boy during their shoot, Finley tries to reach the candy but Ollie is not about sharing. Bryan has all his attention on camera and trying to look good on it, him and Mithy both paying zero attention to kids... I love this intro, so honest

Ollie got some T-Rex toy and Finley "got" a Beast, but we all know who's actually gonna play with it...tintin15 wrote:Not to be totally out there with my gender ideas, but why couldn't Ollie have the Belle bear?????

In regards to the nebulizer, I fought my 4 yr old tooth and nail just get her to take her asthma puffers. Took like 6-8 times before she finally took it willingly.
I would have to pin her down and hold it over her mouth (has the areochamber) and even though she was crying and screaming she was still breathing it in.

yep same here. Sometimes as parents we have to do tough things to our kids for their own good.PosyGirl72 wrote:In regards to the nebulizer, I fought my 4 yr old tooth and nail just get her to take her asthma puffers. Took like 6-8 times before she finally took it willingly.

That is awesome there are parents who actually FIGHT for their children's health, not leave them sick until they need to stay in the hospital. Re: DailyNeglectfulParenting (Part 83)
Question.. is bronc-u-litus a real thing or is Dr. Missy just mispronouncing bronchitis?
Also, i need to look back on some older vlogs, but CJ & Bailey's mom looks like shes lost some weight? Anyone else or have i just not seen her in a while?

I'm sorry but no. 4 year olds are not required to add and subtract. That's just ridiculous.onbreak wrote:Seems like the skit is Ollie king for the day.. I noticed about 4 shapes drawn on the wall .. he's almost 4.. it should be adding and subtracting. Not square s, a triangle, and circles.. not much of a king if you can't count that Lanning $$$

You meant abcs and 123s in preschool. I understand Ollie is a bit behind, but just because the boy scribbles (which is completely age appropriate) and doesn't add or subtract doesn't mean he's dumb or THAT behind.

They didn't let him pick his own out when they went with SlyFox either. Bryan and Missy picked out Star Wars ones for him. I loathe Andrew and Hannah, but at least they let Caspian pick his own damn Build a Bear.Playsinrain wrote:I totally bet thats the one Ollie REALLY picked out...francis3125 wrote:

My kids loved that kind of stuff..
Of course, he's not going to be doing 1st grade math, but every little bit helps

I think she's trying to say "bronchiolitis", which is a real thing. It's farther down in the airway than bronchitis.Playsinrain wrote:Question.. is bronc-u-litus a real thing or is Dr. Missy just mispronouncing bronchitis?

Yes, he's so much better developing than Ollie was, and yet so much neglected it enrages me.
But about this exact vlog - I have to say they must have really ignored Finn's health, because bronchitis or pneumonia don't just appear out of nowhere. I've been there and I know how it goes. First you're just coughing and if you skip any medications, it starts getting worse. That's what must've happened to Finley. I remember Mithy struggling to give him a nebulizer. In that vlog she said that they will have to use it at least three times a day, but after this torture when she was trying to put a mask on Finn's face, she suddenly figured out it's gonna be ok without any nebulizer. That's nonsence! Couple minutes under that thing won't do anything. Right, neglecting is easier than caring and curing a sick kid.

Re: DailyNeglectfulParenting (Part 83)
My oldest started using a nebulizer when her brother was born. She was not quite two. We told her it was her cloud machine. After the first few treatments she would sit for them. I would read while she snuggled in my lap with the mask on. The treatments require patience and time. Two things Missy has very little of for no apparent reason. I don't get not following a doctors prescription for treatments. You can make it worse by not doing it as prescribedPlaysinrain wrote:THIS^^^^^^ Missy was so put off by the nebulizer, (which btw she thought was just a fancy humidifier, not a way to give him actual meds.. not that they medication vials that she was given would be any clue at all right? Case on point...Missy doesn't because she knows best (cue song from rapunzel "mother knows best")Ducklings4 wrote:My oldest started using a nebulizer when her brother was born. She was not quite two.
