i've never visited disneyland or disneyworld but remember reading a few years back about an exclusive restaurant where you pay a huge amount to eat there. i am surprised the lannings haven't done this. or have they?

Is it Club 33 at Disneyland? If so, even with the YouTube money it would be extremely difficult for the Lumps to dine there. It's more reserved for people like celebrities and park investors. I think the only way B&M could ever dine there is if they were guests of one of the members.

I'd be embarrassed for them if they ever dine there. People would be questioning who they are and Bryan would probably be like "Haven't you ever listened to my chart topping EP Like a Lion, bruh?" *cringe*

It's a private and very exclusive club. Members only, and there is a waitlist. Honestly, I bet Bryan and Missy don't even know it exists. These "experts" were confused to see Marvel superheroes at CA, they don't know anything about Disney besides what they see when they are there. The lounge is secret and not something you'd notice unless you look for it (and even then you have to look hard).

HS-- you said it. When their YouTube career tanks, which it will someday, they are going to be in trouble. Even the "Vlogfather" Shay was going downhill in views before the scandal hit. And it's not just the every day spending they're doing-- the stupid things like his album and all the videos and the big release/birthday bash, the new pool, etc, must be running them deep into credit card debt.

I wonder, does Bryan believe all the crap he spews about "living life to the fullest", and "helping people"?

2. I keep seeing talk on this board about all the money they have. Let's be real for a second, they have a ton of expenses too. At best they are just spending it all and not going into debt. I think they are good at making it look like they are making millions, but when you break it down and figure out taxes, network fees, employee wages, new technology, toys, dining out, etc, they don't have as much left over as you might think.

Breaking it down quick. If they make the top estimate of SB, then that would be $3.5M. Subtract 30% for network fees right away and that brings it down to $2.5M. They still need to pay taxes. By rough estimate (not accounting for their deductions) they would owe $1.2M federal and state. They still haven't paid Jeff or the housekeeper (Mimi, Papa?), accounted for house costs, new vehicle purchases, house renovations, swimming lessons, vacations, restaurants, nails/hair appt, medical insurance, hobbies (music, Legos), etc.

And before people get into the deductions, they have to spend more to be able to deduct the money, so this is only a savings if it's something they are doing anyway. Dining out everyday isn't saving them money by being a tax deduction, it's still costing them 10x what their food budget could be.

TL;DR- B&M have the illusion of money, but they have no real money. A few lean YT years and the empire won't be able to sustain itself since they haven't made any good investments that will help them break even. They may earn a lot, but they spend most of it!

That's not taking into account sponsorships, Missy's channel, bryans channel. Social Blade, I'm pretty sure, is based only on views. They do sponsored and product placement stuff all the time, not just on YouTube either.

They have money, not just the illusion of money.

Sorry, I disagree. They don't have more sponsorships than Jenna Marbles and she lives a far more conservative lifestyle. She also has radio, podcast and other entertainment revenue. She's said on the podcast that YTers inflate their lifestyles to look bigger. Other YTers have said the same. Look at the side-eye DB get from the other YTers, that could be why....

So the bad new is that they were planning a trip and working with a few companies for it and a few hours before they were suppose to leave the companies pulled out. Bryan says it was over something small. Now I wonder what they pulled out over?

Also mixing up your kids names is seriously probably the most normal thing she's ever done.

I totally agree HS.. they put on airs like they have money, but pay out of pocket for everything, they have to keep up this facade that they have tons of money coming in and have to keep up with the latest trends/gadgets ect. I bet Bryan is probably close to $500,000+ in debt in his "music career" and will NEVER break even on that, but will continue to throw money at it to make himself feel special. They are CONSTANTLY spending, hell didn't we figure a few weeks ago that they spent anywhere from $10,000 -$15,000 just in one week??? They may have a big check hitting the bank on a monthly basis, but it's probably already spent before it gets there. I would be surprised, with the amount of money they spend on a daily basis (and everyone here knows they spend WAY more than they show, hell they hid the sports car for months) I bet they barely break even every month.

Does their peds office not have a sick kid room and a well kid room? I know they do here!!! If you have fever, cough, vomiting/diarrhea ect you sit in one closed off glass room and if you are just there for well visits or rechecks, other things that are likely non contagious you sit in the other half of the room. I assumed this was standard!!
