My brother and I are 8 years apart, a different gender and my mom still mixes up our names lol :D
Me and my sister are all grown and my mom still has trouble with that sometimes. Lol.

Same. My mom even mixes up my name and her sisters name sometimes. I just know she's talking to me because she looks at me.

I am just watching the vlog, which I never do. I didn't think Missy cancelling and rescheduling was a bad idea. I think I would have done the same thing. I think she needs to schedule the appt quickly though, so it doesn't get forgotten. I have called my kids the wrong names too and even called them the dog's name. I am not a fan of Missy, but I think these things weren't bad at all.

She should have just waited and got it over with. Thats what you do when you have kids. You put their health before your convenience. If she was the one sick she would have waited.

Haven't watched yet but did she have Mimi with her? If not she probably thought it would be easier to go back when she could have help.

If Mimi was there then one of them could have waited in the office, and texted the other when it was Finn's turn.

I really hope one day it is not at the health of one of their children that these two dolts will realize that the world does not spin solely for and revolve around just them. God forbid anything or anyone else ever comes first or inconveniences either of them. They really are miserable, self centered, selfish, human beings and shit parents.

It always annoys me how bloggers and vloggers always have this altruistic reason as to why they are blogging/ doing YT. It's always under some guise of helping their audience. Why can't anyone just be honest and say I saw a business opportunity I was passionate about and worked hard at becoming successful at it. They could even say it's a bonus to be able to connect with viewers and "touch their lives."

But what's so bad about admitting the truth that you saw this as a way to make money and decided to give it a try. It seems like anyone on YT or anyone with a blog is never honest about this.

Their "friends" the Johnsons are suffering right now with the impending loss of Natalia's grandpa and these guys are complaining about their failed trip? Talk about out of touch with reality!

YES!!!! Shay is the only one I can think of who finally got honest about it. At first he said it was for the memories, then he said later that once he started getting Adsense checks, it became a challenge to see if he could make them bigger. Get to $1000/month. Cover rent. Cover all expenses. But this "we want to help people overcoming loss", when they only mention the losses in that context, or the other "reasons", are all so disingenuous.

I don't blame her. A waiting room is a good place to pick-up more germs. It was a follow-up visit too. I don't usually defend them, but in this instance I think she was valid.

Ollie's sleep issues really concern me, no child should be that hard to wake...

"Ollie that bite is way too big for you!!!! hahahahahahahahaha..." first off why the hell is he eating with a spoon so big he can hardly fit it in his mouth (it looks like a damn serving spoon!) and secondly.. MAKE HIM STOP BRYAN BE A GOD DAMN PARENT!!!! UGHHHHHHHHHHH

Whatever the reason for the company to ditch the trip was completely M&B fault, idk what it was, but Bryan's tone and the way he was acting "it was something minute" SCREAMS guilt. damn i want to know what went down! Maybe they saw how miserable they acted in the videos of the sponsored Hawaii trip and realized they didn't want these assholes representing them? They wanted to bring the whole family (he mentions "the whole family") and the company wasn't having it and Missy couldn't bear not going without mommy?

Why didn't they research the trainer before they hired him? Would they not have known that the trainer was going to use choke/pinch/shock collars if they researched the trainer? So did they just find the first one in the book and went with it? How sad.

How many times are they going to mention that the trip was cancelled?

So, Luna's been at a trainer with borderline abusive tactics and they didn't realize? I can't watch the vlog rn so if someone could explain to me what's been going on with Luna, that would be great.

They did zero research into the trainer, figured out that he was using choke/pinch collars on the dogs, along with "correction" based training. When Missy finally figured out what he was doing they were about to (she said they hadn't yet, idk if i believe it) start with a shock collar so she fired the guy. Now they are at another trainer/boarder who uses positive reinforcement which missy didn't even know existed.

She didn't put clothes on Finn for the appt, just left him in his PJs. She's awful. She's AWFUL and I hope things go downhill fast for them. I don't care how they go downhill...just something for some karma at this point because they need a smack in the face with reality.
Omg she's so awful for leaving him in his PJ's. I'm sorry, but chill.

As for leaving the doctors appointment, I don't blame her. She said they waited an hour and were surrounded by sick kids. If I waited that long I would have left to. Why would she just keep him there and continue to wait when he's just getting over pneumonia.

Also mixing up your kids names is seriously probably the most normal thing she's ever done.

My pediatrician sent us to a specialist. He called me that night and asked how it went. I said we waited over an hour and he looked at her for 2 mins and sent us home. He was furious and told me never to wait that long in a Drs office. The next morning my pediatrician had us in another doctors office before hours and he spent time evaluating why my daughter over night lost 70% mobility in her hip. Turns out a virus she had had a few months before bopped around her body and landed in her hip. Three month recovery.
She was right not to wait if it was that long in a room full of sick kids with his immune system compromised.

Missy's cell phone is stuck to her face 24/7. She didn't have to wait in the office, she could have asked them to call and waited in the car or the hallway instead. Most mothers would want their child to be seen, and not want to reschedule and go back.

Correction training is not abusive. It's not appropriate for all breeds, and not all owners are good at it. Positive re-enforcement training isn't appropriate for all breeds either, and some owners aren't consistent about it. Let's not start bashing training methods when most people here don't know the first thing about it. Every method has its place when applied correctly.
Missy clearly doesn't have it in her to do ANY sort of corrective discipline, whether for her dog or her children. It's typical of her to rely on treats and rewards when it comes to dealing with living beings under her care.

Double post but sorry, I'm not buying the story of Missy not knowing about the trainer's techniques. If she was that shocked and outraged by it, o rally doubt they would mention it in the vlog and bring it to people's attention. Addressing it sounds like a form of damage control in case that info were to be discovered. If she truly didn't know because she hadn't put the proper time into researching places, then how could she just move Luna from one trainer to another new one so quickly again? Makes no sense to me, but then again, I treat my animals like children, and wouldn't send them away to be "trained" when I could do it myself.

As we said here when she was first sent away, most reputable trainers caution AGAINST those that say you can send the dog to them and they will return them trained. The owner needs training just as much as the dog does so that doesn't work.

What I am most gobsmacked about with the dog is sending your "beloved" puppy to a trainer without finding out what methods they use. Who does that? It takes two minutes. Read reviews. Study the breed and what methods work best for it. They have all this technology at their fingertips and use it for Amazon and playing games. Nothing that can actually benefit them, like learning about their dog, or educational apps for their children. I have said it before, and I will say it again: they are going to be living in _Jimmy's_ garage someday. With nothing but a bunch of dusty Legos to show for all the money they've made.

I agree. I think she knew full well what would be involved. I just think, that when it came down to it, she wasn't able to do it herself. Neither one of them are capable of being the "bad guy" when it comes to discipline. I think she was fine with the methods the trainer used, but was shocked that the dog didn't come back trained, and that she would also have to use those techniques.

I'd bet all my internet money that they sent her for more training because she barks a lot, and they'd catch hell if anyone saw a bark collar on her. If she comes back with a raspy bark, we'll know that her "training camp" was de-vocalization surgery.
