Why do YouTubers think that a dad using a breast pump is something we want to see?

Don't even bother with their new Babyleague video. It is just a commerical for Earth Mama products with the word "lying in" in the title as click bait.

I find it incredibly annoying that Corbin addresses all the comments concerning their lack of a vehicle, but never really addresses it, just gets angry & makes ignorant passive aggressive comments. If they don't NEED a car WHY are you always renting one, calling for a lift, or Uber?
Pretty sure they have NO intention of taking the bus, ever. Just admit your "haters" might have had a point and you need a car!

It is possible to go carless in Portland, but most people have a bike or actually use public transit. My ex didn't have a car in Portland, but we were walking distance to almost everything and we lived on the streetcar/bus line and MAX trains were just a few blocks away - we almost never used my car unless we needed to make a Target or Trader Joe's run.

C&K are only on a bus line and they aren't really walking distance to much except the restaurants/food trucks/ice cream place they always go to. With a baby on the way, you'd think they would have found an apartment closer to a grocery store or even a drug store. They definitely need a car where they live, especially since they won't use the bus!! If they really wanted to go carless, they should have moved to the Pearl District, or anywhere closer in, but they are pretty far out in SE.

I have tried to watch them since the birth but I just can't. They are the worst. His "my love" is enough to make me have to medicate and the way he passively agressively puts in brags "my love, do you remember when we saw the statue of David in Florence?" What's she supposed to say. "No. Did we go to Italy? I don't remember that." Completely obvious.
Why is he cooking all the time, she seems like a delicate Princess. Her little pitiful faces reminds me of a 3 yr old like when she had a meltdown over the flower in the sink, maybe they left something out but it was so out of context for the scene.
Lastly, him always putting in a condescending spiel to anything even halfway perceived as negative such as taking the baby to public places newborns don't go the first week. Does he forget this is his paycheck? It would be like me going to work every day and talking down to my boss or insulting him.

Anyway. I will still pop in on this thread now and then to see if something amazing happens but I wanted to go on record that finally I found someone SO annoying I can't even hate watch them. :P :( :-?

Who the fuck takes a two week old baby to a museum? Really?????? They still think they can do whatever they want. Think about your kid!

And while it's obviously possible to be a parent without a car and to get around certain cities without a car...they are always using a car. How can you say you don't need a car when you are always using one? LOL.

They could have walked to OMSI without renting a car - it did look like a nice day, which is rare this time of year in PDX, and they "claim" to be active and outdoorsy. If they aren't getting those car rentals for free, then it's got to be adding up A LOT! They rent one EVERY day!!

I agree that Corbin needs to STOP complaining about "negative" comments. He's putting his family's life online...what does he expect?? He definitely deletes all the comments he doesn't like.

Alright corbin when your baby gets rsv or the flu just go to her "doctor" to make sure it wasnt because you were taking her out in public places while she was so little.

That's the thing. If you're going to be "carless", be carless. Don't pat yourself on the back for not owning a car and say you don't need one when you use one every day! If they actually walked places and took public transportation, I would think it was great. But the whole "aren't we wonderful? We don't need a car! We care about the environment?" but, when they use Uber or the rental service all the time, is just plain misleading.
Corbin-- look up "disingenuous" in the dictionary.

They probably can walk there faster than installing, uninstalling the car seat and find parking.... I wonder if the deal with ReachNow requires them to show them driving one and mention "ReachNow" everyday.

I don't think the whole car thing is about helping out the environment, when he did his Corbin's crazy comments thing the other day he said it would be more expensive to buy a car so I'm guessing it's about money and they must be getting these rentals for free.

Okay Corbin annoys the fuck out of me but.. How is taking to your kid to museum bad? They are usually quiet places. And i don't get people freaking out over the car thing. Maybe it's because i live in a place where is normal to not have a car.

She's two weeks old. Her immune system is very weak....you shouldn't take a baby out so young. I'm sure most of the time it's fine, but there's a risk of your baby getting sick. It's still flu season.

And because they say they don't need a car, but they are always using one...you can't say you don't need something that you use and rely on.

OMSI is an interactive museum for kids...so it's basically a Petri dish of germs! And it's anything but quiet. Also, if they rent a car every day, that's probably a sign they need a car.

They must be getting those rental cars for free, or at least a discounted rate. There is NO way renting one EVERY day is cheaper then just getting a loan on a car. You can get a lot of different vehicles for under $500 a month, a daily rental car has to cost more then that.

And Corbin, because Im sure you read here, if you don't NEED a car and want to hate on anyone who questions your need of a car how about you two actually walk some where, or even take public transportation, instead of renting a car daily.

These two are so clueless. First the little speech on how they won't stay home because June was born a little wanderer. No Corbin, she was born a tiny newborn with no immune system, how about we not expose her to so many germs when she's not even two weeks old yet. Then after being out all day they are promoting a video about "lying in."

And to top it all off, Kelsey is going to attempt cobathing with June, when she's not even 6 weeks postpartum yet, and could develop a cervical infection from being submerged in water. These two are really two clueless idiots.

Kelsey and Corbin are those parents who will try to do everything ~natural~ and ~free~ and what they think is right...for a whole eight months. From then on, June will probably eating junk (you guys just KNOW they'll start feeding her solids at like three months old) and sitting in front of the TV. Especially because they will probably have a kid every other year because they're not preventing (and I'm not sure they actually know how to do the rhythm method...or the pull out method...whatever they are doing LOL)

It's not the saying they don't need a car. It's defensively saying they don't need one and then using one every day. That's what people are side eyeing.
