DailyDukeofDouche&PrincessMisery (Part 84)
Re: DailyDukeofDouche&PrincessMisery (Part 84)
Theory:
Perhaps they have (had) a sponsorship with LEGO. They may have been invited to stay at the LegoLand Hotel and promote the park. It's only an hour away from them so a last minute cancellation makes more sense than if they needed to get on a plane to go somewhere. I don't know, I'm just shooting off ideas here.
Like all of you, I'm soooo curious what happened. They're not very good sponsors to begin with. Yes they have a large child audience to promote TO, but they show very little enthusiasm or "realness" when they talk about things (like the DoctorApp). Now 90% of Toy Channels are utter garbage, but my kids enjoy EvanTubeHD, and honestly, I do, too. He's a bit older, articulate, and knowledgable about the things he shows on the channel. He's enthusiastic and really has fun with the products and games and trips he and his family go on. Most of it is for Disney, but they make it look fun and they really enjoy each other's company. Such a difference.

Good points. Ohh will we get answers?Playsinrain wrote:Sammibro and Msrubeus (to avoid the big quote tree) you both make awesome points. If they have the money they look like they have it shouldnt be a problem to book the trip themselves. And missy not wanting to be in the dr's office all day busted their plans. I wonder if the dr's trip was a last minute, unscheduled thing? They found out they needed the dr's clearance to go, Missy showed up without an appt or as a walk in (first come first serve) and messed up all the plans by walking out. She acted odd during that whole scene leading up to the dr visit. It seemed rushed (finn in his pj's, no Mimi with her). She even said it hadn't been a week yet, but she just up and decided to go early for no apparent reason? Maybe they got a call that morning saying he needed to be medically cleared, Missy showed up at the Dr thinking they would make her a priority, they waited so long that she had to leave so they could make it to the airport in time, and then found out that they couldnt go at all if he wasn't cleared. (I think she showed up with no appt or called and they told her she might be seen if they could work him in. I've never had to wait more than 20-30 mins at our peds office, no matter how busy they are, if we had an appt. If we were a walk in, waiting on them to work us in, then it could be an hour or longer...)

So I finally watched yesterday's vlog. I never believed the speculation about them drugging Ollie to make him sleep but omg that child shouldn't have been so knocked out at the end of the vlog. Maybe he's a heavy sleeper but dosing him with Benadryl or something similar also seems way too likely now.

Re: DailyDukeofDouche&PrincessMisery (Part 84)
If anything you'd think that would be a wake up call for them to stop half assing things and thinking they're above everyone and everything.
But, no, we'll still get the same mediocre vlogs, most likely another piss poor attempt at Broryan trying to be Justin Timberlake, Missy being a spoiled brat, Ollie being hailed as a King, Finn collecting dust down in the basement room and the revolving door of pets we've all come to know and hate.

I understand playing along with your child and their imagination, but they do too much pretend stuff for Ollie. He never seems to care about all the new and "exciting" dino stuff. It all seems like total overkill and honestly it seems like Ollie will never grow up. It's almost a little sad.

If the cancellation was about Finn I'm surprised they didn't consider leaving him at Mimi's. I'm sure the lumps would have enjoyed a trip with just their golden child and without the baby that takes up so much of their time.

You would think that sponsors pulling out because of something they did would grant them a bit of a clue....but NO because nothing is ever their fault!
Plus they revel in the attention they get when blaming others or throwing a temper tantrum online. Do they realize how pathetic they look begging clueless children for pats on the back and validation that their choices are the right ones?

Wonder what kind of "EXTREME NEW POOL ACCIDENT(S)" will happen with a rambunctious preschooler boys who think rule is a 4 letter word?

Re: DailyDukeofDouche&PrincessMisery (Part 84)
I don't think the cancellation is Finn related. They would have just left Finn with the hairstylist, The Johnsons or Mimi and Papa.
If it was on an airplane somewhere, then I think it was ridiculous for Missy to object to waiting in the waiting area with Finn, only to take him on a flight where he could absolutely be compromised anyway.
I think it had to do with B&M if they aren't disclosing the reason. They would have had no problem blaming Finn being sick.

Re: DailyDukeofDouche&PrincessMisery (Part 84)
True points, it would be a whole lot easier and judgement free (even making them look like responsible parents) if they had just said "We are so bummed that Finn is still sick and this means we have to cancel travel plans!". Now i think maybe it was something much more juicy than not getting medically cleared, bc that would have been a perfect excuse.HelloSweetie wrote:I don't think the cancellation is Finn related. It will be interesting to see how they scrape together some vlog footage for the next few days seeing how they were supposed to be on some grand, view grabbing, "exciting" trip... get ready for some epic click bait'

Also, its almost April, CLEAN UP THE DAMN HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS!
Re: DailyDukeofDouche&PrincessMisery (Part 84)
Bryan making it a point to show they had safety glasses for Ollie hammering that plaster to bits. Pan to Finn right next to him hammering on one too sans protection. Not to mention he could get Ollie's residue in his eyes as close as he was. It took adults and they struggled so you know that stuff was hard.
I am starting to really buy into the non favorite child thing.
Might as well add since I had to edit for a misspelled word.
What do you think about these parents today making every day an adventure? Buying toys that we would of gotten for a big Christmas presents because it's Monday? I think it's fine to do nice things for your kids and suprises now and then are great. You should reward them for REAL accomplishments (Sam and Nia are horrible about this also). I think the new generation is going to be worse snowflakes than what we have now. They are going to be so expectant of life and not at all aware of reality. They are gonna be pissed.

Re: DailyDukeofDouche&PrincessMisery (Part 84)
went and watched the bit from yesterday's vlog... where bryan's in the hallway and explains the trip being cancelled. the way he put emphasis on 'getting ollie ready' indicates that it was something to do with oliver.
something big, is my guess. maybe they pulled out once they realised oliver's verbal skills aren't up to scratch, therefore making the whole deal (for the company) a waste of cash?
i wonder what it was for. a commercial?
---
now i'm watching today's vlog and i'm up to the bit where ollie's looking for dino eggs. this is very cute, i loved how he kept turning around going "shhh!".
i've noticed a lump on his neck at 6:19 mark. i feel like this was mentioned aaaaaaaaages ago, but did they ever have it checked out/say what it was?

I think she took Finn to the Dr early because they had the trip planned. Once Bryan told her the trip was cancelled she rescheduled after the long wait.

Learned helplessness is REAL in that household. It's going to be horrible for them as they grow up.

I meant to post this earlier, but the minute I saw this I couldn't stop laughing! First of all Bryan looks like a 70s dad hahaha they should have gotten someone else to play him in the video....Missy looks like his teenage homeless daughter....the camera crew was probably laughing in hysterics after filming the so called "young and hip" Bryan hahaha

Well I never thought the day would come that I would think Missy's belly looked pregnant this year. Her belly sticks out more than her boobs in this clip. I'm still leaning on not pregnant, but wow. I'd believe it with this clip and more evidence!

Re: DailyDukeofDouche&PrincessMisery (Part 84)
The problem with the puppy is the breed. Never in a million years would I get a purebred Australian Shepherd - especially with small kids! Did they ever do any research into that breed? Luna would be better off going to a better-suited home than staying with them and always going to get "training." Training an Australian Shepherd is almost impossible, they need to live on farms!!!
