Ugh they have no idea how easy they have it. I do feel bad for kelsey because breastfeeding didnt come easy for me either. I really hope corbin is actually going back to work soon. I think he is stressing kelsey out more than the baby is.

Haha their with trending scamily that makes so much sense!melonyogloo wrote:I just finished reading Trending Family's blog about how they only promote products they believe and how authentic they are and willing to show the ups and downs in their vlogs. Today's vlog happens to show the downs while yesterday's showed the ups. Maybe it is not a coincident.
They just want the viewers to once-again believe they show the realities and are authentic. I believe Dockatot, by the number of times they mentioned how it saved their lives, is actually a sponsored product with Trending Family's connection. Their struggles may be real but today's video is just another effort to marketing themselves to sponsors. Remember how they complaint about the buses/Lyft and then ReachNow magically appeared?

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
I do get the impression that Corbin is very self-absorbed and needs to be in control, and that the tension in their marriage is almost more stressful than the actual newborn. When they announced the pregnancy I predicted it would be very stressful for their marriage, because they're both just so immature and unprepared. I think the stress of actual adult responsibilities is making them turn on each other, and being together all day, every day with no friends or family is not helping. I would be annoyed as hell if I was sitting there and my husband was talking about male post partum depression and how stressful it is to not be able to breastfeed. They're playing it off when they turn on the camera to a certain extent and pretending everything is fine, but she looks pissed off at him most of the time and he looks like he's on edge because she's so fed up with him.
They're both idiots for seeing this ND instead of an actual pediatrician. They still seem so uneducated about the breastfeeding issues. It makes me wonder if they completely wrote off the lactation consultant (as evidenced by the fact that they started pumping the first week and are now claiming the tongue tie magically fixed itself) because she wasn't agreeing with everything the ND told them.
A lactation consultant would be able to tell them if she is latching correctly, and if she is the lactation consultant would probably suggested that Kelsey might have thrush herself due to the pain and the flaking skin. A real doctor would treat the mother too if baby has it, because it spreads so easily and can be difficult to treat. If she's ignoring this and only treating it with a vinegar wash, I hope it doesn't develop into a deeper infection. A real doctor would want to prescribe a pharmacological antifungal in conjunction with vinegar. I don't think thrush is something they want to mess around with, and this ND is already failing them.

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
Finally watched today's vlog after reading here all day. I wanted to slap Corbin. He really is a whiney douche! I hope they read the comments since the majority of them tell them to get the latch/tongue tie and thrush check out by a "real doctor".
Had to laugh hat more than one person said their apt and Corbin not working were adding to their problems. Strange that there really hasn't been anyone else there to help or see the baby.
Corbin napping since he had such a hard day when he could have been doing the diapers was ridiculous. What a lazy ass. You idiot, babies need their mothers at this age period.
Gender specific, you had a baby girl you idiot. So are they going to complain when someone gives them a pink outfit?

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
Yes, they don't have to justify all of their decisions by certain principles they've decided to follow because they think they should. They also named their daughter a super frilly feminine name and put feminine headbands on her. They could just say they don't like the color pink.janem wrote: Gender specific, you had a baby girl you idiot. So are they going to complain when someone gives them a pink outfit?

What happens when Juniper grows up and loves pink and purple and princesses? She could end up being Missy's little girly girl. What will they say then?fossilfinger wrote:Yes, they don't have to justify all of their decisions by certain principles they've decided to follow because they think they should. Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
Exactly! It has nothing to do with pink being gender specific. They just want to stick to the nature thing; colors found in nature, flowers, animals. I get it, I don't like certain baby clothes either but just be honest about it.fossilfinger wrote:Yes, they don't have to justify all of their decisions by certain principles they've decided to follow because they think they should. Got it. The vlog before this one with him trying to get milk out of his man boobs wasn't just for the shits and giggles, he was legit trying to get in on the action. He's so dumb I wouldn't put it past him lol. Crunchy Contradiction_ists the two of them.tintin15 wrote:They're basically complaining about how Kelsey biologically has to take care of June and breastfeeding is difficult/Corbin can't comfort her with breastfeeding so he gets grumpy and mopes.

I think you could be right. I've never seen such a low subs/views channel have such an active thread on a forum like this. That in itself says alot.Amelia322 wrote:They're awful. I can't believe I'm saying this but, they are worse than Daily Limps that says a lot coming from me lmao

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
A year ago they were lucky to get 2000 views on a video - and even the van trip views were originally low - so they must be excited June is bringing in the cash, oops I mean views!!
Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
I thought the bumps were bad but holy crab sticks, they don't stop bitching- I was a teen mom My ex was still in school didn't help we didn't live together- my mom said you keep the baby you raise the baby it is not a walk in the park it is a serious life changing responsibility- you will go to college you will work and you wont complain end of story, my son was prem and in NICU for 10 days every day after my c section I would walk the floor down to the nnicu and sit there all day when I got home breastfeeding was so difficult and my mom didn't breastfeed either so couldn't help even if she wanted to, one day she came in and I was literally pumping blood and crying she took my son gave me cold cabbage leaves told me to take a bath and sleep which I did that was the last time my mom helped me and I never complained , my son was my child, these two have no cooking clue and they are home all frikken day don't work etc, if June has a tongue or lip tie get off your behind and have it seen to. The apartment is small but I have seen friends deal with smaller with more than one child and they have made it work they need to just stop and realise that they chose to have June and its time to put their adult panties on and get on with it. I haven't watched last nights vlog but if corbin legit said he thinks he has ppd he needs a slap in the face, breastfeeding is hard and I can understand Kelsey being sad and frustrated but she knows what she needs to do

Yep! It was very showing... she commented how she didn't like juniper to wear anything too pink or too girly and basically just liked gender neutral clothing and "she can wear whatever" but then referred to June's floral sleeper as "girl clothing" and a dinosaur patterned one as "boy clothing"

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
They are two of the least self aware people I have ever seen. Do they actually think they believe the tripe they spout? I have no problem with the views they claim to espouse. But they don't have the courage of their convictions. If everyone can wear everything, why is a dinosaur print "boy clothes"? And we've all been over the car situation. And that ND. Telling them not to listen to anyone else isn't "confidence". It's arrogance.aral12 wrote:socks123 wrote:Exactly! It has nothing to do with pink being gender specific. Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
I had to laugh at the "we want gender neutral things" in the same vlog as her with a headband/bow as big as her face on it. If you don't like pink frilly stuff thats fine, just dont be so sanctimonious about it

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
So they blame being stuck in the apartment for their "bad days," but they need to rent a car when they leave the apartment for their "good days"? Yes, they went to a "doctor" appointment, but they also used the car to go shopping and run other errands. How can they continue to deny that they need a car when they obviously can't live without one for more than a day without going crazy?? Heck, I have a car and drive WAY less than they do.
I'm sort of thinking they posted yesterday's whine-fest vlog so Missy will see it, feel bad for them and offer them more $$$ or gifts...or a car.

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
What a difference between new first-time parents. Trisha Hershberger(sp?) was a SouceFed host and her son is just a week or so older than June. This couple seems to be adapting to parenthood a LOT better than C&K...but they mentioned they actually read books and they seem a bit more normal and stable.

They probably call themselves 'Earth People' in private because - ya know - the rest of us are Aliens from another planet.webbygurl626 wrote:Uhh a vintage resale store, normal people call it a second hand store why is he trying to make it sound like there not shopping at a thrift store! Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
He rented a car to go through the drive-thru?? (Yes, BV is yummy, but that's ridiculous!) And he took the muddy dog in the car??? I might email the company and send them the video. I'm pretty sure all pets have to be in carriers in those cars.
Edit to add pet policy:
Can I bring my pet along?
Any pets must be crated. If the interior of the vehicle is dirty or full of pet hair, we reserve the right to charge a minimum of $50 and a maximum of the actual cost of cleaning plus a $25 administrative fee per violation. Service animals are an exception, of course.
