It seems to me like they think June is way older than she is. I imagine complaining when she's not walking at five months

They're also just so clueless. I don't have kids, but I could literally have a newborn baby left on my doorstep to take care of and do a better job than them, because I actually know things about babies and if I didn't know something, I would research. I'm sorry, but it's literally like they didn't even know babies existed before this!

Also I'm not trying to be a parent shamer lol! It just seems like at every turn, these two have NO IDEA what to do with a baby. They've hardly done anything right so far and that's just weird to me. Did they decide to read no books or ask any questions, and just go with that wild, primal instinct that animals get when they have babies? Because humans have SOME instincts when they give birth, but not many hahaha

It is a bit strange that the only job we know Kelsey has ever had was being a nanny for little kids. Seems like she'd be a bit more prepared.

Snow White wrote:She said she burps June "or try's to" (in between feedings) ... trying isn't good enough for little babies. They need to burp. That "or I try to" just stood out to me.

Also, I hate to burst her bubble but that "curl" in June's hair is a cow lick. Not an indication of curly hair...
Nope. Nursing babies might not have to burp after every feed. I've tried for close to 20 minutes and would get nothing.

Seriously if a place of business says no dogs allowed then leave your dog outside. These people have no respect and just do what they want.

Seriously. They are so entitled and rude. They need to start leaving the damn dog at home. And if his separation anxiety is that bad they should try different things to get him feeling assured and safe. Not everyone wants your dog in their place of business, they should respect that.

Wow! They actually walked somewhere that wasn't a block away!!

I agree that they need to leave Paris at home. I don't understand why they expect it to be OK to bring their dog with them everywhere!! Corbin even let muddy Paris crawl all over their BMW rental car in yesterday's vlog - which is a total violation of the service.

Before I found out how awful they were, I was watching a vlog where they took Paris somewhere. I think it was a store or a restaurant? I can't remember, but I do know that I thought, "Well, that doesn't seem like a place you would be allowed to take a dog, but I guess they know better than me."

Now I know, they're just horribly rude and obsessed with their dog :x

This is more of an observation than a criticism, but out of ALL the family vloggers with newborns these two seem to drink a lot. I'm sure it's only an amount that's fine for June, but I can't imagine any of the other (non-Mormon) mommy vloggers taking their infant out and getting a beer or even wine this soon - and they seem to have a drink almost every day. I noticed Corbin got pretty defensive about this in the comments today.

Again, I'm sure it's fine for June, but it's so different from other family vloggers.

You're right. It is a little weird just how much they go out to drink. I'm sure it's fine, but given their knowledge when it comes to children, I'm not sure how much I trust Kelsey to drink an ok amount. And if she knows to pump and dump if she drinks too much.

I just don't understand why they WANT to go out to drink so much with a newborn. I would imagine they would rather just sleep lmao. Obviously you don't have to completely alter your life when you have a kid, but they act like nothing's changed...the only reason you know anything has changed is because they complain.

You know, given the way they are with Paris, one has to wonder if they're the type who would sit in an adult-oriented restaurant while June screams and screams :? They are very inconsiderate, but I would at least hope that when they're out like this, and June starts to cry (which I'm sure she has), they take her out of the room if they can't calm her.

Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster

I have a small dog as well and I take her a lot of places, I only take her to dog friendly places! They really need to get their dog used to being home alone. It's not going to kill him if they are gone an hour or two...

Anyone else think she was hungry in the beginning of the video she was trying to nurse on anything I wonder if she's getting enough milk, and when Kelsey was walking and nursing and she says I don't think she's latched very well! That's a number one rule with a baby with a bad latch is that u never let them nurse if the latch is wrong!

They no longer recommend pump and dumping. Alcohol doesn't remain in breastmilk. You shouldn't nurse if you're drunk, but once your blood alcohol has dropped, so has the % in breastmilk. It doesn't get stored.

I think the reason it seems like they drink a lot is because we're not used to seeing family vloggers drink at all. None of them show themselves doing normal adult things or talk about adult topics.
They rarely discuss anything to do with health, finances, birth control/sex, alcohol, they don't swear, do many chores or anything else that wouldn't interest or isn't appropriate for anyone younger than 13.
They're no longer "Mommy" or family vloggers. They're childrens entertainers. They're reality tv for preteens.

My guess is from attempting to breastfeed June?

Lesson learned do not eat and read here, I needed that laugh! On another note when she was trying to get June to latch in the bookstore why was she facing the teenagers and not her husband oh that's right the ass was filming her and she didn't want to show all of her nipple on camera! Why couldn't he have turned it off so his wife could latch their child properly instead of flashing children!! I'm all for nursing in public I did it but I also don't think u should be showing your breast to teenage boys if it's not necessary!

These two need something I am not sure what but something! They are a hot mess! I would like to go and shake them lol and teach them not only how to be parents, dog owners but functioning adults who contribute to society.

I've been trying to figure out what the appeal is with some of these hugely successful family vloggers, and I think you're right. It's reality TV for pre-teens. I mean, Bratayley, DB, etc-- they really aren't that special. They just upload videos. That's all. And people scream like they're meeting Justin Bieber at the meet and greets, and act like they are these amazing, special people. And they're just not. I know some of it is aspirational-- these kids have parents who work, and can't always afford everything they want, and make them take out the trash, and do homework. And then they watch these families where both parents are home, and life is all Target runs and Disneyland, and fancy vacations. So of course, they want that. But the whole thing just really puzzles me. My sister comes to visit, and sees my daughter watching vlogs, and she is as perplexed as I am. My daughter likes to watch cute kids, so that is the attraction for her, but she doesn't worship them the way minions do. It'd be an interesting social sciences thesis.

My boarder collie has some of the worst separation anxiety I have ever seen. Like I'm-going-to-throw-up-whenever-you-leave separation anxiety. Every time we can bring her somewhere, we do but if we can't then we can't and we leave her at home in a crate. The crate has helped tremendously, I don't know why they haven't tried it.

And also, they aren't doing him any favors by not leaving him alone at least for just a little bit.
